- This boss fight is still the same on the V Rising 1.0 patch on Normal difficulty, even though it was filmed in an older patch.
Kill this boss to unlock the Thick Leather and Mountain Peak Bag recipes.
In this video series, I kill every V Rising boss as 10 levels lower than the boss and 0% Frailed blood. This video was made with Standard PvP rules in the original V Rising Early Access patch.

This shield is perfect! I beat him a few minutes ago with axes, chaos volley, bone explosion, and veil of chaos as jump and ofc OP storm ultimate. I'm unskilled to play with multiple weapons so here is few livehacks to beat him... Avoid narrow places to fight, you need a lot of space. Drink potions in your catle. Try to use scholar's blood or warrior blood. If your ass is still burning, try to fight 70-100 meters southern on this road. Look on the minimap - there is long rock between castle highground and the road. There is a gap between long rock and highground. He can go through but the rocks will block particles and he cannot jump to you from there.

I'm returning to v rising after 2 years since the update is coming and watch your videos before boss fight for like a minute and its completely clear what to do and avoid. you rock dude thank you. you doing all these bosses 10 levels lower no hit is actually insane though haha

same, im not good enough to do the no hit like him, but i figure if i use good blood, buff pots, and follow this strategy im golden lol.

I tried dashing through the big blue laser beam but got hit everytime. I was using blood dash, does that matter? Or did that change in Gloomrot? Using the slashers Q to dodge was awesome though.

Very good job friend, how do you beat the bosses, but I have a question for you, about the build, which ring do you focus on it? Which one do you use the most in your videos against the bosses? I mean, what stats do you get?
By default I choose the caster versions (spell crit chance). If I end up with a physical focused build (like on Maja the Dark Savant), I will change to the physical damage ring. There are also some bosses where movement speed is critical (like Solarus and Gorecrusher), so for those I choose one which gives movement speed.
God this boss is a pain to fight

It's been a while, but if I remember right it took a few hours in total. It's a very unforgiving boss.
What kind of Crossbow were you using?
It's the basic Iron Crossbow.
I die when the screen turns white. what are you doing at that moment
When the screen turns white, I'm focusing on avoiding the red circles on the ground, while watching around me in case the boss charges me. When it does, I use either the dash or the skeleton shield to avoid it. You don't have to worry about doing damage in that phase, it is way too hard to hit the boss in the snow storm!

I love this game but I feel like I am such a noob. I tried to fight him for 2 hrs and can’t kill him… maybe I’m just not good 🤷🏼♂️

He does the jump attack only on Brutal difficulty, which was introduced in patch 1.0. This video is from an older patch and matches the current Normal difficulty.

You are absolutely disgusting at this game. I sincerely thought this particular boss was impossible to do a no hit but there it is. The invuln E with scythes was so clutch.
