Mam I am ur new subscriber from india .could u please explain how all adverbs are adverbial s when in the begining u said adverbials r not adverbs but they behave like adverbs .If I take literal meaning of aforesaid and if in a sentence suppose *quickly* is present then wht I get it adverb or adverbial.or u want to say simply that one word adverbial is called an adverb.
Hi Raj, I'm happy you've subscribed! All adverbs are part of adverbials. This means that if an adverbial contains and adverb, then it is an adverbial. However, not all words within an adverbial are adverbs alone. The phrase itself behaves like an adverb. :)
👏👏👏👏thank you for presenting this lesson i need it so much. I wish you present 10 parts of this series. You have beautiful speech , fantastic articulation , beautiful lady. Allah blesses you
You are welcome! Next week's video will be part 2; degree adverbials. I wanted to put it all in the one video, but I changed my mind. I think less than 10 minutes for each video is enough information for one viewing. Thank you for your kind words. I'm happy it has helped you. :)
Utterly marvellous lesson. It's to my liking ; moreover , it appeals to me. You are the be-all and end-all. Thank you very much indeed. Far thee well, dearest Prof. A
Hi there, thank you for raising this question. I will do a video on this topic. Attributive adjectives relate to 'position' of the adjective within a sentence. Adjectives generally, describe nouns, not adverbs. The job of an adverb is to describe the adjective, or another adverb. Example: "The yellow bird landed on my balcony." Not... "The bird yellow landed on my balcony." The second sentence doesn't make sense. So, you know that the adjective in this sentence is attributive. Hope this helps for now. Good subject; I will do a video on this, for sure. :)
