"Absolute trash" - Doctor Shah keeping it real 💯😂
That made me laugh out loud for real! 😲😂
I’m still laughing out loud!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahah! 😂🤣
I was coming to see if anyone else thought this too. Hilarious 🤣♥️
Soooo funny
Whoa whoa whoa! Please do more of these! Maybe even a part 2 to this one cause I'm so confused about which of their SPF to try or if their serums are worth it.
Sooo I like the mineral baby one (pure and free baby) and the sheer zinc ones however I read there was some stuff found in the sheer zinc face on specifically, that can cause cancer... while in the same study, they didn't find any of that in the pure and free luckily, so that is probably your best bet. Hopefully they find a way to take the toxic chemical out of the sheer zinc face, even though it leaves a white cast it was pretty affordable and felt good on my skin and putting body stuff on my face always feels a bit worse. It works though
Please avoid their ultra sheer series of sunscreens if you're even the slightest bit worried about an allergic reaction or rash.
Three of my friends who used this (had I known sooner, I would have yelled at the top of my lungs to not use it!) got an allergic reaction and hives on their arms. Not trying to scare you at all but it's not the best sunscreen.
I'd recommend checking out Native's mineral sunscreen which has 20% non nano zinc oxide, and gives no white cast! Also won't break the bank! MD Solar sciences mineral sunscreen is also good, but a bit more expensive. Also love Paula's Choice skin renewing mineral sunscreen but it has less zinc % than I'd like.
Hope this helps! Good luck on your sunscreen quest
If you're interested in Neutrogena's sunscreens, The Budget Dermatologist did a review of all of them.
I second both of thes other comments, avoid ultra sheer & the budget dematologist is where I got my recommendations, but also the sheer zinc face was recommended once or twice on this channel. Luckily it placed at the bottom of the list of having that toxic chemicals. I'll have to check out the other sunscreens mentioned though, & see if they are on those lists.
@@db-gb5xi oo I never stumbled on this channel I will definitely check em out
You should do more of these, especially Neutrogena because i live in South Asia and brands such as Neutrogena are easily affordable, whereas The Ordinary and CeraVe are usually expensive.
Try korean brands… they are really good but really affordable

This was helpful, thank you!!
Wohoo! Hydro boost gel cream is my most favourite moisturizer! I'm so glad it’s approved!!!
it makes me physically sick
@@hotpinkjalapenos it ruined my skin

@@BabyBytheBeach don't use it, it's soo shitty fr
@@dinkybansal688 me too. Been using it for over 4 years and it stung every time. I thought it was just the cooling effect of the gel formula, but it was just destroying my skin barrier all this while. My skin is so sensitive now that it hurts to even just touch
Quick and very helpful! Thank you,
The scrub cleared my face up and I’ve been trying to get rid of my acne for years
Yes so helpful! Quick and to the point. Can’t wait for more of these- easier than memorizing what ingredients to look out for/ not have, all the time.. 👌
There is a very useful app called yuka where you can just scan the bar code on the product and it tells you, if there are some bad ingredients for your health or the environment. It works for cosmetics as well as food :)
@@franzliszt7965 that sounds amazing!
Would it scan anyvand every bar code, incl those in various languages/countries, Spain,Russia, France etc?
do this on all brands please! Next: OLAY!
Yes! More of these please! 💛
The blue astringent is excellent. It actually saved my skin from rosacea getting worse. If I don't use it, I get terrible flares.
🙌🏽 works for me as well!!
personally, I can’t use it on my face, but it does wonders for my neck and chest acne
This man's eyes are the most exquisite...... They're just stunning and take my breath away. In all my 48 years, I've seen some beautiful and unique eyes. But HIS? His parents did GOOD creating him, that's all I have to say on this matter. Plus his humor is genuine and awesome.
He is Shah which is meaning King in Persian
Yes!!! This kind of 'love it or hate it' videos are SO helpful! Please do more.
Neutrogena stopped making their Anti-residue shampoo and I'll never forgive them.
That hyaluronic acid lip sleep mask they have is freaking AMAZING ❤❤❤
Appreciate the honesty!!! Love it!
As a 14 year old, the first product really suits my skin, I have been using it for a long time. Love it!
Rank all the neutrogena moisturizers please!
This is soo true as a long time user of neutropenia. They should bring back their Neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser… there is nothing like it😍😍
I have the acne wash (he said scrub) and it’s done wonders for my skin and literally cleared my acne which I had for like three years. It’s the only thing that worked for me.
He doesn't know shit lol
Me too! Like I wonder if this is specific to skin type whenever I start having a breakout I use it and it clears up within a day.
i used their grapefruit series when i was much younger, and they helped my skin when needed. since i still have some of those products leftover, i use them on my body instead.
yeah those do work
Love that gel cream!! Been using it for a few years now and is amazing at night time as it really helps me relax with how light it is on your skin when you rub it in!
Do more of these…and briefly say why or why not….thiss is gooddd!
My niece recently asked me to help her create a skincare routine because her skin was all over the place and when i asked her what face wash she was using, she said, "oh I just love this one" and pulled out this grapefruit scrub. 😵 I said, well now youre gonna hate me 😂😂
personally it works for me the scrub, again everyones skin is different
@@bruh9562 scrubs can cause micro tears which can heal with scars. So if thats the difference youre goin for, cool👍
@@bruh9562 usually when people say stuff like this it just means that their skin is naturally pretty resistant to the harmful effects of that product. But I would literally be amazed if using their grapefruit scrub is the thing that improves your skin

I love Nutrogena's oil free acne wash (with 2% salicylic acid). I've been using it for 5 years now and no other face wash works the way this does on my skin. Removes every trace of oil and dirt plus if you have any breakouts, it immediately help alleviate the swelling and redness.
I just started using it a few months ago and it has improved my huge black heads and pores so much!! Not many people seem to use this product, but they should.
Hello I have just moved to Manchester and I am new here and I need a face soap for acne. Does this work for me and is this a cream or a soap. I apologize if my question is not clear.
Glad to hear someone else agrees. I still use it every day and also use prescription RetinA
do you have any recommendations from their brand for dry acne prone skin? I used to love one of their cleansers but it got discontinued! any help would be great 🫶🫶
Neutrogena Oil free acne wash (orginal) is my SAVIOR... And like you I can't use any other face wash (wasted money on CeraVe, Cathephill even korean brands) as I have oily and acne prone skin.
🙌🙌🙌 I’ve learned so much from your videos. Please keep them coming. Thank you!!!!
You are one of a handful of ‘go to’ Doctors for quick reliable information on a confusing endless list of skin care products. Big thanks to you 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🦋♥️
please do more of neutrogena cause i kinda using neutrogena products 💚💚
I like this series
Noooo way I bought them together like 3 weeks ago and been LOVING them so much, had not seen ur short till today NEW SUBSCRIBERRR!! 🤗 By the way really helpfull stuff you do in short, thanks! 😊
“Absolute trash” 😭😭
Me who uses the acne wash: Aww man!
I actually like the laneige water moisturizer better. it’s the same price for so much more!
Where do u live that laneige is cheaper than neutrogena 🥲 the hydro gel is literally meant to be a laneige dupe
LOVE THE GEL CREAM
I’ve been loving the gentle cleanser with PHA. Cheap and it works so well.
love your short vdos. so much knowledge within short time.
I have oily skin and lives in a very humid country. I struggled to find moisturizer for my skin and ever since I found Neutrogena gel moisturizer, I never changed moisturizer. So I'm happy that you also love it. I haven't tried the other Neutrogena products mentioned.
I have had 6 allergic reactions to 6 of neutragena products including there sunscreen. But if something works for ya then stock up on that gold.
Can you please name the products you had allergic reaction to? And what's your skin type?
the amount of relief I felt seeing that he approved of the cleanser I used-
Any chance you could do a quick shorts video of how to get rid of the hyperpigmentation from wearing glasses??
This is old but I stumbled on it while looking up products and I think you should continue to do videos like this 💖
I also love the gel-cream it really made my skin better and moisturized
Their gel cream is worth to try especially for oily skin!
The hydro boost gel for dry skin is my holy grail 🤩❤️ I'm glad you love it
Can you review some asian skincare products too (eg. Korean, Japanese) :))
Thanks for sharing!
I love this!
What works for some may not necessarily work for others. I have an acne prone skin and the only cleanser that works for me is the grape fruit cleanser by neutrogena.
Thanks, Dr Shah, very helpful info.....
Great video more of these please!!!!❤❤❤❤
Perfect! I'm excited to try it.👌
The first hydroboost gel..I use it and I was sweating! Untill he said love it 😂
oh the way i HATE the water gel. burned my skin so bad and left me with my cheeks looking red/pink-ish for 3 weeks
love the gel cream!
Can you do Neutrogena’s sunscreen next❤️❤️
Sir, you should also❤ neutrogena's hydrogel face masks, they're amazing!
That gel cream hydro boost is amazing!
Hey, does it make acne worse if I have oily skin?
@@mst.sultanaraziapanna944 No idea, that is a question for the doctors. Which I am not and I do not have oily skin. Sorry!
Love this!!
I love the hand gestures!
FIRST DOC TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ACTUALLY USEFUL! Thank you!!😁‼️
Yes I agree that this should be a series with different brands. Especially those that are affordable for folks like me. I would love one for aging skin.❤
If you do another one I think tsal and tgel would be nice to include.
THANK YOU! I finally have proof of a real dermatologist actually agreeing that astringent is trash. It does nothing for the skin! Rather, it makes your skin worse.
Really? But doctor said astringent good for oily skin. Oily skin needs that
Astringents work wonders for me
0:08 I hate it too, I have it. Worst product I've ever used, barely helps. The product is worthless, doesn't even help acne.
So so so so so glad that I'm finally getting validated for all of the skin wrecking trash of my teenage years. I kept using it thinking my skin would get better after it adjusted. Nope. Just pain and suffering. I eventually quit using anything and my face was so much better!!
CRUELTY FREE skincare video PLEASE 🥰🥰
Perfect bro. .totally agree. I like their hylaronic serum too. Also the rapid wrinkle remover. . retinol.
Can you tell me the steps of how to use. , I also have Hyaluronic and the moisturizer. When did I use rapid wrinkle re.over
Okay this is what I’m talking about 👏🏻
Alcohol based astringents help me a lot with acne.
I LOVE their HydroBoost line. It has been the ONLY thing to help with my psoriasis. I use it every other day and it keeps my skin balanced and scale free. When I was sick with COVID, my skin got so dry, flaky, and scaly that I was almost unrecognizable
Can you do the same but with Nivea and Eucerin? Thanks
My mom splurged on that gel cream and now she's obsessed.
That alcohol was saved my life when I was a teen. Cleared up my skin in a few weeks
Same here. Even now it helps with adult acne
i- IVE BEEN USING THE SCRUB FOR YEARS
same bro 😔
Hey, can you please talk about Cetaphil cleanser because I can't find Cerave in my city and I have like some acne scars and acne.
Thank you
Do one for Clean and Clear please!
I love the hydro boost line
Love the gel.
I used their orange acne wash once when I was 14, i never had any acne before, my skin was great, but I was a curious young man. Two days after trying that product, my skin started showing acne, it kept on increasing and increasing. I went to several dermatologists and nothing was working. I paid thousands on treatments because the acne was really making me anxious. Everyone was asking me about them and they were large and red. They didn’t go away until I used sulfur soap with salicylic acid for one year. I never used any of their products again.
The aftermath lasted 4 long years.
The pink grapefruit moisturizer is actually my favorite, I have oily skin and this one feels light yet leaves my face so soft 💖
Hi! I so love your videos! Thank you for help! ❤️😊
Could you please do the same video, but about The Ordinary?
Thanks in advance 👍🏻
the grapefruit scrub was one I remember spending my money on. I probably used it like a handful of times before I realized it really did make my acne worse in my 20s. I would wash my face, and by like day 3, my face hurt and had way more breakouts than before.
I love your videos
The water gel is amazing. The night cream is nice too. That’s it.
I agree, also the the oil free wipes sometimes remove the little nose blackheads I don't usually get but love popping on those I'm close to lol!
You are so pretty Dr. Shah 😍😍😍
You're so awesome ty❤️
Part II ! Period !
Ok wow this is an insanely good video idea
Facts. I used to use the grapefruit cleanser and wipes exclusively as a pre-teen. Switched to a CeraVe SA cleanser and the hydroboost moisturizer and it helps so much. More important though is adapelene/retinol like Differin
Thank you!!! Take Notes 📝 💯✌🏽👍🏽I m listening 👂
Waiting for their SPF & Oil free moisturizer.
That PHA cleanser seems really interesting. Why is it not available in my country?
😅Dr. Shah doesn't mince words ... "absolute trash"
I have the Hydroboost gel cream, the one for normal to dry skin. Don’t really recommend it. I’ve been using it for 4 years, but recently, I realized that my face has become more sensitized to it. I read online that using products with harsh ingredients can sensitize your face overtime and I think that is what happened. I tried slugging with it today and when I tell you, I wasn’t even done covering my face when I had to run to clean it off. It was stinging, burning. It’s a sensation that I usually feel every time I out it on, but because it was in a smaller quantity, it was never this bad. Also, I thought it was just the ‘cooling’ property of gel creams that made it this way. Now on the market for a new cream, and thanks to Neutrogena for sensitizing my skin, my option are severely cut down because it’s hard finding a no-alcohol, no-fragrance, no-sulphate face cream😢
So true especially if you are prone to keloids the scrubs and alcohol astringents worse thing I’ve ever put on my skin and I am African American
Hey, what about the Neutrogena sunscreen?
Neutrogena makes the best retinols. They have 20 yrs of R&D behind it, I will never trust other brands like The Ordinary with their retinols.
