I have known the Sisters of St. Joseph since birth. I was at St.Marys Hospital in Amsterdam NY. When to St.Marys school in Little Falls NY. I'll be 61 next month. My old 8th grade Sister is going to be 103 in April. God bless her I wish my mind was as good as her. I truly Love the Sisters they are a wonderful group of ladies . I owe them my life
I am 62, and was born at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Orange County California...also staffed by nurses of this order... I owe them my life as well, since I was born 11 weeks early❤️.

So sad that the baby was thrown out with the bath water in so many orders.
How very sad that the consecrated life to Christ as timelessly represented by the habit was ultimately done away with in the fruitless quest to be ‘modern.’
