Headache Mik That's good ! :-)) Molti italiani che vivono quasi da una vita fuori dall'Italia sono ormai diventati più americani, inglesi, australiani, ecc. Ma ve ne sono anche un sacco che sono rimasti molto italiani (come il tipo nel video) e battono anche quelli (come te !) che in Italia ci vivono da na vita. ;-)
PS: cmq....non ti scoraggiare !....hai ancora tutta una vita davanti e fai sempre in tempo a diventare ....un vero italiano ! (like this dude) ;-)

I laughed so hard when he popped the champaign cork off and it sounded like it hit the bell, thats what i love about Gennaro. He puts those little dry humored things in his videos to top them all off.

I have tried it soaking the sponge fingers in frangelico liquer. The result?? Absolutely amazing.

That's such a simple recipe.
I normally use home-made limoncello to soak the biscuits. Delicious!
But sometimes I mix half milk, half rum (or bourbon), add some sugar and a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon, and soak the biscuits in that... very festive! Or add a bit of coffee for that tiramisu flavour... :D
Any combination of dry and candied fruits and nuts can be put into the ricotta mix. I love dry figs and candied lemon and orange peel in it. And pistachio. Lovely stuff!
The possibilities are endless!
