    It’s amazing like always.
    I made the same food with a few minor changes and it turned out great.
    Replaced Fennel seeds with Kerman’s Black Cumin,
    Sour cherry with iranian dried Aloucheh.
    Also mixed the yogurt with a drizzle of Frank’s hot sauce and a pinch of salt before draining it’s water.

    I must admit, vegatubles are packed full of nutrients and you don't need much more to be healthy if you're not active and sat down in an office all day (like most of us). You do need a lot more if you're physically active though (especially if you're a professional athlete) but I feel like the push to veggi dishes is more marketing from the Jamie team. Of course I'm happy if anyone disagrees with me and I'd love a personal response from Jamie.. which won't happen because I'm sure he has a team that looks after his UA-cam channel.

    • @ellen9354
      @ellen9354 17 днів тому

      So just add the “more” that you need. It is a basic pie recipe not a meal plan, much less one planned for professional athletes.
      As a meal for 99% of the population- yes this is all you, if you think you need more than this yet wonder why you are overweight, wonder no more.

      Red meat is the healthiest, most nutrients-packed food on earth. In fact it's the only ingredient on which humans could survive if they had to eat only one food. Veggies are delicious, but the most nutritious veg can't even compete in front of a casual beef steaks when it comes to vitamines electrolytes and macros. Let alone the protein, of course.
      There's a big anti-meat marketing push in society atm.

    This isn’t really an accurate look at vegetable servings. You can’t eat 1/4 of that pie in one go. You’ll have a lot of regrets, and he didn’t serve up 1/4 of that either. Looks delicious, but eating a large spoonful of that pie in one meal won’t set you up for your daily 5. Maybe just eat 1-2 servings of veg in a meal twice a day and do the same with fruit, maybe doing a third veg depending on your weight/height, how much you’re eating in total.

      Did you know that legumes is a French word for vegetables?
      And according to the University of Cambridge - Sainsbury Laboratory in England as well as the British Heart Foundation:
      "Legumes are dried peas, beans and lentils which are referred to as pulse, or pulse vegetables. And what's more, pulses are one of the few foods to be classed as both a vegetable and a protein."
