I like seeing the art of taxidermy, and how to tackle the challenges that taxidermists face. I was wondering what you and other taxidermists do to restore the hair on a cape , cigarette,or fire place smoke yellowing?
Andrew and Steve (our other in house Taxidermist) both agree the best thing for damaged capes is to simply re-cape the mount. Minor hair repair is possible however. We plan to do a full video on this but you can see a preview in the Oryx video here: ua-cam.com/video/8SzKjKnAOh8/v-deo.html
