Back then this song was about those guys and girls who were as fake as possible, NO cash and yet, always decked out in the latest, most expensive gear, which they bought on credit and financed with several bank accounts which they kept milking for all that it's worth until they would be so far in dept that there was simply no recovery. Today this song is basically about we now recognize as an "Influencer" and by that that I mean the ones who walk into shops and restaurants and demand free gear or food in exchange for online likes. They are the modern day Glamour boys. Another detail. After this performance, Rock N Roll legend Little Richard approached the band and said "Fellaz, I'M the original glamour boy!" the band struck up a friendship and Little Richard appears on the song "Elvis is dead" and in the accompanying music video.
Corey's voice should be respected among the biggest rocker frontman in history. We always want our favorites to get more success until success changes them. I'm happy so many are still able to perform because that means they made enough money and are still humble.
This band had unique styles of rock and nobody compared to them, good groove. one of the best funk metal bands of late 80s and early 90s.
