I'm a longer-limbed lifter and I've never been too sure if I just overreach too far in training, don't sleep well enough (avg 8-9 hours) or have slower recovery (or perhaps more relative fatigue from lifting. At 33:51 you mentioned about neurological conditions that can result in slower recovery than other people? Do you have any examples/things to look out for and any signposting from there?
how would you approach a lifter coming OFF of gear? physiologically and psychologically, what does goal setting, progression, types of training, etc look like?
minutes 2:40 - 5:15 are literally the best tutorial on back squat I've ever heard... thank you! Seriously I am just mind blown and I instantly put it to good work today... Thank you again...
Currently striving for a 200kg squat in the gym, currently at 185 max with predicted max of 200. Gonna peak into it soon and hoping to get it early next year. Glad to hear it should be very doable
Extremely fascinating and enjoyably broad answer, thanks a lot guys! I had no idea how deep these speed/agility drills can be. I've used the common speed ladder drills (things you see soccer players or track athletes do) for a warm up and trying to improve some feet mechanics and general ability to move, just like Fitz instructed. But the judo specific stuff, really interesting! When you need to be fast, you're slow. If you're too fat now, try be less fat.
Firstly thanks for all the information you provide Any advice/exercises for hip stability in receiving the clean/snatch, whenever I start aggressively moving my feet, my hips fuck out and end up with lots of pain around the greater trochanter, this is probably from a long history of martial arts training, or am I doomed to no foots?
@sikastrength Is it realistic to add 5kg to my backsquat every 8-9 weeks? Im 1 year into olw and, i did get a 95 kg snatch and 110 Pclean&Jerk, while barely gettind through a 125kg BackSquat. Im 87kg btw I feel like pure strength is holding me back, and feel like i still have some “noob gains” in strength terms
there was a study on strength gsins and time I saw it on stronger by science. They found that strength gains follow a linear in load logarithmic in time relationship meaning that if it took you 1 year to add x amount to squat. it will roughly takes you 2 years to again add x to your squat then 4 year then 8 .... you get the idea of the model....
About your comments on proper high bar back squat technique I find that trying to keep my knees out through both the eccentric and concentric of the movement targets, my glutes, and hamstrings and add of my quad the most. Would you say this a byproduct of improper form?
He doesn’t really do conjugate anymore and more to the point he’s now focusing on bodybuilding and it’s pretty well established that for bodybuilding so long as you are appropriately approaching failure you could hypothetically change exercises every week and it won’t hurt or harm your results.
i pause squat 225 kg for 9 reps with no equipment near atg lifetime drug free. even discussing potential or limits is ridiculous. there is no limit. you just keep on getting stronger. the only constraint is time. your answer should've been simply that there is no limit and you should keep on training to see where it leads. genetics play no role either, it's just hard work. but nobody ever wants to hear these answers. if you are conscious and have a proper body, you just keep on getting stronger with serious training. your narrowly contained view on natural squat potential is preposterous and a disgrace to what the body is capable of
Saying genetics play no role is incredibly stupid. All committed body builders would reach Ronnie's point eventually if that were true. All heavy weight weightlifters would eventually reach the same numbers Akkaev did even though his career was incredibly short. Or All heavy weight lifters would reach the numbers ilya hit at his first Olympics if that were true if they just continued training by that logic but it simple isn't true. Human physiology has limits and every person has different limits depending on bones structure and density, muscle fiber makeup, testosterone production or response to PEDs and many other factors. You can't tell me someone with cerebral palsy has the same potential as John haack. Now it is true that 99.9999% of people will never reach their own limit because they lack the discipline but not every human has the same strength ceiling. That's just incredibly wrong and shows a complete lack of understanding of the human body
A.Whats your bodyweight? B. Whats your 1RM? C. Whats your squat program to get to these squat numbers ? D. How long are you squatting ? Inspiring numbers💪

Throatpunch when??

How much do I need to squat in order for my wife to touch me again? So far .5 BW isn't it.
For someone just looking for a big snatch and back squat, does training the clean and jerk provide a benefit? Carry over? General strength/health?
Thank you for the detailed answer on my question on shorter (4-6 week) cycles vs longer cycles lads. Keep up the great work 👍

Thanks for these lads. Greatly appreciated
that Fitz nearly spit out his coffee in the first 30 seconds is a great sign for the rest of this video.
Super Squats is a gnarly program. Thankyou for sharing you're knowledge. It's helpful and therapeutic. October 28, I start squat everyday.
when do they talk about it?

Don’t know anything about the enhanced games but the idea of a guy winning them and being disqualified for not taking enough gear is really funny
Thanks for answering my squat question guys and very fair answer. I'm just happy hearing 200 should be doable unless I completely fck something up.
Great stuff as always! Liking the Q&A format. Miss the shit talks but these are probably significantly more helpful. 😂
According to Laputin’s book, you should be training the overhead squat. The Chinese lifters do bottom up overhead squats from blocks.
And????
I usually just listen to these and really watching the person who isn’t talking is really cracking me up for some reason.
the nod to head shake at 55:40 is especially funny
@ bro just wants to max out

Your haircut looks sharp!
1:04:30 sorry babe not tonight, I need to become an elite thai kickboxer

Bruh you are a novice you could add 2.5kg weekly if not twice a week
Alex Kikel does “nutrition.”😂

The enhanced games is going to allow a fair bit of mechanical doping, too.
00:58 will there be a Sikastan Download festival appearance...? 😁🤘🤘🤣 and will the algo be signin' tee shirts...?
Need for speed mentioned!!! 🏎🏎🚓
I want to run the bench program but can only bench twice a week. How can I adapt the program to run it successfully?
What’s conjugate ? More context please
Need shite talk back 🙏
The trouble with having a limiter on ped use just means the definition of cheating changes from taking drugs to taking MORE drugs.
enhanced games, you mean crossfit ?
Why is the gaining bodyweight question so funny?
Thumbnail goes hard
Cracker video lads! 💵💵💵
Yooooooooo
i think you should look more into modern conjugate before drawing a conclusion. Alex Leonidas has addressed this before and has some great points
He doesn’t really do conjugate anymore and more to the point he’s now focusing on bodybuilding and it’s pretty well established that for bodybuilding so long as you are appropriately approaching failure you could hypothetically change exercises every week and it won’t hurt or harm your results.
For fucks sakes, way to prove the point lol.
@@n00dle_king he is literally going for 405 bench again using conjugate, not sure where you got that from

"The only constraint is time". People with good genetics get to achieve more in that time... If time wasnt a constraint, then genetics wouldnt matter.
