a lot of these stats are way off and some very important cars missing like the 99 turbo which basically brought the turbo into the car industry

Good collection with lots of rare SAAB picked up not a few missing such as 900cd. And the safari could've have come out in 81 as they had flat front lights until 87.

There’s something very special and unique about Saab ! That’s why I drive a 2004 9-5 Areo. I’m enjoying it more than any Bmw or Merc I’ve owned. Everything is thought out and nothing wasted, design, design, design. Unfortunately when you put your profits back into development to make the best product for the customer the big fat lazy executives paychecks are smaller!! Therefore got to go, GM needs to concentrate on low cheap quality cars made of cheap parts for there executive paychecks to be large like there used too. Unfortunately profit is more important than product.

GM kept SAAB alive for like 20 years, the reality was that SAAB had been losing money for ages and so GM bought them to try saving the brand, but kept losing money until eventually they sold them to Spyker.
@@romyan5382 exatcly , bad marketing , bad style (not really but the managers feel like they live in the 70s) thats why they hire complete brigade for make brand new styles for Saabs in the early 90s (with GM control) aaand bad investment... fault after fault ... they really did the best to bury this fantastic brand !!

I love that my fav was in. The 9⁵. When im turning 15 in some years and we are thinking of an Saab 9⁵ 2001 a‐traktor (swedish word) it is basicly a car with just two front seats and backs are blocked out and it cant go over 30km/h. Im exited!
This video forgott Saab 99 Turbo in 1977 and The 900 Turbo is from 1979.
Some cars missing, dates incorrect and the detail information is wrong in places. Example what happen to the Turbo X?

Great cars before GM got involved.In the days of no accountants they were engineered properly.GM era SAAB were rubbish quality with creaky plastics based on Opels and Cadillac/Subaru.Tragic GM didnt know what they had.Could have improved THEIR crappy cars with SAAB know how.A lesson in killing a brand,GM is sadly good at that......

I'm driving my second 9-3 this one is on a 14 plate, does this mean that the car was in stock for 3 years , because according to the DVLA it was manufactured in 2014 and registered March 1st 2014. What am I missing. Thanks in advance.
Vin plate on your car will give you the exact date of manufacture

Very proud owner of 2005 Saab Aero convertible 9.3 - had it five years this October - to date more reliable than the so called bomb proof Avenis that preceded it ! Parts easy to get Saab operate the VOR programme ( vehicle off road ) in Sweden 🇸🇪 parts shipped in 72 hours - Toyota couldn’t find a driveshaft oil seal anywhere In UK for SIX MONTHS 😡
Have replaced where possible crappy GM stuff over four years - pollen filter holder on bulkhead that leaks water into cabin - £26 plus hour or so fitting - stylish cars , safe , cost effective to run , pretty rot proof if mine is to go buy

In 1980 Saab and Lancia (last brand was under fiat group) have built togheder a new car based on italian Lancia delta for Sweeden market, but because of diferent climate (the Sweeden Road are glaced and full of salt) this car (Saab 600) was not suitable (because the italian climate is warm) and the Lancia Delta's body was subject of many rusty.
