I think CloudJumper is more aesthetically pleasing in design wise. His crest, his owl like head structure, his four wings, and multiple tail flaps, hes almost similar to a Night Fury. Hip flaps, tail flaps, like a Fury's body to glide and steer. Also, how he turns his head like owls do, his pupils getting bigger makes him soooo cute.

I’ve always found the Deathsong to be my favourite design wise as well. Something I love about it is that no matter how you choose colours, it looks still like a bug-inspired dragon, and the flying animation just works so well, giving the dragon an angelic yet sharp aesthetic. I really enjoyed this top 10, I’ve always loved them, and it’s nice to have a new one after a while!

I was surprised that the Stormcutter wasn't on this list. I don't really like the wings of the Death Song because they don't look complete to me, they look ripped.

The stormcutter's face in SoD is well... Unacceptable to me. He looks utterly soulless and ultimate derp. Same reason the Night Fury (Toothless) Isn't on this list.

@@SilverWillowWing you’re right, I don’t like that Cloudjumper is bigger than a normal stormcutter but when I saw it for the first time it bacame one of my favourite dragons 😍
I feel like if they made the wings alot bigger the death song's wings would be really pretty
I absolutely adore Wooly Howls, Scuttle Claws and Slither Songs. Not even sure why- they just attract my attention.

To me, the Silver Phantom deserves to be in some form of the list. Those wings are just breathtaking

Fireworm Queen.
I mean, there are a million reasons as to why>>>
1.the glow
2.the legs like a centipede
3.overall grace of her in flight
4.beautiful, bright flame
5.big, crown on her nose and head
I think we can all agree that a queen bee is certainly beautiful and graceful, and since it is obvious that a fireworm I based off a beehive, and bees, that a fireworm queen should DEFINITELY be on this list. ( That is just my opinion though)
I totally agree! The Fireworm Queen used to be my favourite dragon bevor the Razorwhip. She is just so... yes, beautiful and elegant. She should definitely be on the list.
The fireworm queen is beautiful, but remember this list is for SoD models and animations. In-game the Fireworm queen has Toothless' animations, which are stiff and dreadful and makes her whole appearance seem dead.

I think the prettiest dragons are Deathgripper, death song, razor whip, timber jack, and singetail.
I did like the Hybrids, skrill, and the Sentinel too!
I do agree, the snaptrapper’s animation was so freaking smooth and pleasing to look at, even the heads moved in sync., I agree with all of them, especially the Deathstrider, it gives me feeling of ferociousness and elegance at the same time, and I think the Razorwhip looks adorable

1. Sand Wraith (MY CUTIE SAND WRAITH WILL ALWAYS REMAIN #1 TO ME THAT'S WHY)
2. Titan Woolly Howl
3. Light Fury/Dart (devs, you worked SO hard on the Light Fury that you can't say you can't fix Toothless!)
4. Razorwhip (my old dream dragon..)
5. Stormcutter(man, I figured that my top favorites are all based off of the fury model -_-)
6. Bonestormer
7. Dreadstrider
8. Deadly Nadder
9. Death Song
10. Skrill
The windstricker and thornridge never were added, in the movie they were soooooo elegant in flight :(

The Dreadstrider is literally glowing
Personally, I think the scauldron is a beautiful dragon. It has a gorgeous pattern on it and flies gracefully, despite its awkward shape. It is sometimes depicted with some long flowing "whiskers" coming off of its head which makes it look even more graceful.
Skrills are beautiful dragons in my opinion. Seeing that lightning dance across those violet scales, it's just breathtaking. Strike Class for life! ⚡🐉
Light fury is on my top ten beautiful dragons!

I love how meaningful she sounds no matter what dragon she’s describing- it just makes me feel so happy that some people still put a lot of effort i their videos ^^
Here’s my list of the top ten most beautiful dragons (I guess, in a way, this is more like a list of my faves 😅)
1. Chimeragon- I like this dragon because of how majestic it is. It has such beautiful frills and horns and such magnificent blue eyes! I personally think that this dragon is better than its Bewilderbeast parent. While I *do* think it’s beautiful, the Bewilderbeast’s _tiny_ eyes and teeth always takes away from the experience for me (and not to mention its chin). While I *adore* the Bewilderbeast, I just think that the Chimeragon looks like it, but better. (I have one in Sod named Gallio)
2. Egg Biter- What can I say? This dragon is absolutely amazing. I mean, it’s so iridescent and colorful, yet it feels _just_ right. The beautiful blend of colors and almost metallic look just awes me (especially Egg Blossom).
3. Stormcutter- This dragon has such a magnificent crown of frills on its head, along with a pair of horns directly over its amber eyes. It’s agile and fast (thanks to its extra set of wings), and it’s huge! And something about it just looks so... Intelligent. (I plan on getting one soon)
4. Flame Whipper- This dragon is so interesting, with its vibrant colors and large eyes. Although it may not look as clever as the Stormcutter, I find it very charming. It has a long tongue like a chameleon, a removable tail like a gecko, and instead of claws, suction-like toe pads! I think it’s a really cute dragon ☺️. (I have one in Sod named Jimmu)
5. Dramillion- This bipedal dragon is quick and powerful. I mean, this thing can even mimic other fire attacks! (Like a sentinel). They too, have exotic colors and a total of three horns on their heads. (I have one in Sod named Ria)
6. Deathsong- This dragon is intelligent, big, and beautiful. The first time I saw it, I was awestruck by its incredible butterfly-like wings. This thing can manipulate other dragons with its song (not in the same sense as the Bewilderbeast, which can control a dragon’s every action, but it can simply coax them with its music to go to it so it can have a yummy dragon burrito). This thing can lift other dragons with ease, as shown in the show, and can break its robust, almost indestructible amber in seconds. (I have one in Sod named Lyric, who is a titan)
7. Slitherwing- The Slitherwing is a snake-like dragon that is poisonous even to the touch! This dragon is flexible, quick, and awesome. This dragon has beautiful stripes that go all the way down its slender body. It has bright aqua eyes and a bunch of tiny horns on its head. This thing’s wings are extremely foldable, which is helpful for tight crevices. And the titan version of this dragon resembles a cobra. (I have one in Sod named Silver)
8. Dreadstrider- This is by far my favorite hybrid. It's like the Speed Stinger, but it flies! This bipedal hybrid has a *huge* mouth, two fins on its back, and one more on its head. And I just find it incredible! (I have one in Sod named Brunnera)
9. Triple Stryke- This dragon has three tails that can combine into one deadly stinger, two awesome horns that angle away from its face, and two almost pincer-like forelegs. And not to mention its *massive* mouth. (I have one in Sod named Jenji)
10. Razorwhip- This elegant and graceful being has a whip-like tail barbed with spikes, a sharp nasal horn, and some *wicked* lashes! (and not to mention a long neck). In its broadwing stage, its eyes are green, but when it's a titan, they become a magnificent amethyst purple. And trust me, this dragon is in the Sharp class for a reason. (I have one in Sod named Ayla)

here are my top 5 and why.
5 gronkle. I love rocks and specifically nature and the bumps on its body reminds me of it. and it has a amazing gorgeous element of lava. lava is you ever saw is so beautiful yet so deadly it is wild but it can just be a bumpy cute dragon.
4 stormcutter. The stormcutter is so unique to me it has four wings and the singetail wings are cool but how the stormcutters wings and how it’s wings open is amazing to me and the tail fin is just a single fin. I think it’s so amazing and unique..
3 fireworm queen. this dragon reminds me of a centipede. Like a flaming centipede I really like it and the legs and it’s a amazing creature blessed with power.
2. Ice wraith. I love how it looks and the name just stands out so much to me. it’s gorgeous and the jaw shape is pretty cool to me. And it has no arms which surprised me which was really unique like the monstrous nightmare and stormcutter.

boneknapper! the boneknapper is amazing to me and it looks different from other dragons. or most for me. I really love how they were made and the way it moves in my opinion is pretty smooth yet rough. hope you enjoyed and srry for so long
Personally, I much prefer the Slithersong to the Death Song in game. I like both, but I just find the much smoother animations of the Slithersong far more satisfying to look at.
yes, and Death Song Titan is one of the worst changes from adult to titan, the tail has a lot of unnecessary detail, and compared to the adult, the amber shot is small and lasts a lot less time, so I just hang out with my other deathsong in adulthood.
@@Kallastar. Finally, someone else who feels the same way! I've long had a major dislike of the Titan Wing Death Song for how 'over the top' it is, much less how it clips through itself so badly even when just standing idle.

I love Deathgrippers because their so cute and derpy lol, but I also think that Speedstingers, Hobblegrunts, Rumblehorns and Stormcutters are beautiful aswell. Love the video, as usual! ❤

Had my fingers crossed that the death song would make it to the list, it's my all-time favorite species. The butterfly-like design really got me when I first saw it in RTTE.

When I saw the Snaptrapper made top 10, I hit that like button faster than Toothless dive speed.
Never considered the snaptrapper a beautiful dragon but you have me convinced!
I feel like if they made the death song’s wings bigger people might like it more. For me, it almost carries this regal look to it, but the wings look small in comparison to the head and tail.
I am surprised the Silver Phantom isn’t on this list. They are such an underrated dragon and have a beautiful flying animation and wing pattern. I dunno, just a thought :p
Its new titan form is even more beautiful too. Keeps the elegance with a more detailed wing design. Also that new hidden world glow is unmatched
The Titan Stormcutter, Titan Timberjack and Screaming Death are some of my good fav over all.
The Fury family just shows smooth bodys but I dont really care about them.
And my big big favourite is and stays Fireworm Queen.

man i was hoping my favourite dragon the dreadstrider ,which im saving up for, would come in the top three but hey top 4 aint bad either. I love how much thought you put into the tiny details and stuff which is a reason i subscribed as you have a very big sense of though. in my books though the dreadstrider is first no matter what.
The light fury is beautiful and majestic but really ties nicely into space category or an alternative dimension instead of the httyd world

I definitely think that the shockjaw and more importantly the titan shockjaw is just so gorgeous and it’s all around so pretty was still looking fierce
My most favorites are Skrill and Stormcutter. Skrill for me is quite scary and thus beautiful, it’s that type of beauty which hugr statues have when you look at them from below. And the same partially goes for Stormcutters as they’re, like, HUGE. And its four wings add more to its enchantment
