Please look up Michaela DePrince’s story. She lived in a war torn African nation and witnessed horrible atrocities and watched her family members killed in front of her. She ended up in an orphanage where she was treated so badly and because she has vitiligo she was considered cursed because of her condition. They had a number system in her orphanage and she was the last number and she would be given the last scraps of food which was never enough and she was constantly hungry. One day a tattered magazine flew into the orphanage lot where she played and on the cover was something she’d never seen before. It was a ballerina on point and she instantly became fascinated with wanting to be like the girl on the cover. She didn’t know how but she held onto that magazine and the dream. One day rebels came into the orphanage and killed a pregnant teacher, one who was kind to her in front of her eyes. Shortly after she and her sister were adopted by an American couple who fostered her dancing dreams. She has fought long and hard to become the dancer she is. She’s a magnetic and beautiful dancer and person

Just goes to show, black women don't have to artificially enhance themselves in order to look feminine, beautiful and graceful. She's not "slim thick", or wearing a straight wig, or makeup that makes her look lighter skinned. And she's still an undeniable beauty, deserving of love and respect. So think of yourselves that way with AND without the artificial.
It's kind of ironic that you would say this b/c Michaela DePrince has vitiligo, so she may use makeup to keep her skin the same beautiful dark tone all over her body.
@Wheein Here I believe that black women are the peak of their beauty when they are there most natural selves. Of course makeup or surgery can be an enhancement for some (if they into that) but when black women take care of their natural hair and body it just *chef kiss* amazing. I absolutely agree with you and the young lady is stunning 😍.

Some of my favourite male ballet dancers are Joseph Sissens (Royal Ballet), Osiel Gouneo and Brooklyn Mack. Incredibly talented technicians and amazing performers. I hope you enjoy 🤗
