Hi quicky, yes it does seem alot but its cheap insurance for an issue Kawasaki should have recalled and fixed. My tensioner backed up on the clutch plate one time too many and destroyed my clutch and nearly my motor in the process. OEM clutch baskets cost $1000 au. I fitted James Compton's tamer to my zrx1200 and it works great, beautifully made too. I know I harp on about this but please if you own a zzr or zrx Kawasaki go to Compton customs and get one. I fitted it myself , it's an easy job, plus James has a video on UA-cam showing you a step buy step install. PS loved the t shirt quicky arrived in Australia safe and sound.

Fairing bolts and washers..There should be thin semi-squishy washers to help prevent fairing mount hole cracks..I don't kmow if yours already has them or not...just a thought about the cracking..Bike looks really nice, and I have always noticed that folks that work at the post office have nice cars..Over here you have to be someone's relative to land a PO job and they pay very well indeed!👍🗽🇺🇸
Yup, there's little plastic washers under the bike heads for the fairing. The new fairing didn't crack at all when I did things up, so I'm guessing it was just old, stood in the sun for years and just went brittle 😁👍
When that ABS plastic gets enough sunlight, it turns into unrepairable junk...just like sail plane wings..It's really cool you found a low mileage fairing!...Don't throw out the old one..still good enough to make a mold..👍🗽🇺🇸

Royal Mail salaries have dropped continuously compared to the cost of living since it was fully privatised, and average salaries are now around 2/3 of the national average. Even the lowest earners are earning more than me, of course, but that doesn't make their action unjust. It just means that non-unionised workforces get cacked on even more than unionised ones... It's not terribly surprising that people are unaware of relatively low pay of striking workers, to be honest. The press (and most of political) narrative since the late '70s has been "unions bad, privatisation good". A very common technique of the neoliberals is to underfund a public service to its breaking point, deliberately causing problems, then blaming the "overpaid", "lazy" staff, and the unions if, god forbid, the staff actually step out of line. Once they've pushed public opinion far enough that joe public has swallowed the "x is not working" line, obviously something must be done, and the only thing to do is to privatise it. Trebles and directorships all round! The purchaser then underfunds as far as they dare, uses the public bad will to help smash the unions, and boost their profits, usually whilst lowering service levels and claiming losses which are, of course, underwritten by the government. See, for example, the private rail monopolies. More trebles all round and would you like a Porsche with that dividend now you're out of government Mr Director?

See that's the trouble. It would be easy as hell to make some, but somebody else came up with the idea, tested it, refined it etc.... I don't mind making my own yokes etc as I came up with the idea, but copying this would just be ripping it off.... 🤐
