You just have to load heavy foam into the spacebar and cover it with tape and it gets thocky, and i use custom PBT caps on mine and now it sounds extra good
Sorry for the late reply. This keyboard has like 13 screws and one is under one of the rubber feet. After removing all the screws you have to use quite a bit of force to open it.And I used medical tape and washi tape.
There are already videos and guides out there but basically you have to remove all the keycaps and then like 12 screws and then the 13th screw is under one of the rubber feet. Then you gotta pry it open with quite a good amount of force.
One of the screws is hidden under one of the rubber feet. Also use something to pry it open after u unscrew all of the screws otherwise it’s pretty tough to open.
You should look it up but basically you cut a small piece of band aid and put it under the stabilisers of keys like space bar and shift so it reduces the rattling sound when you press them.
There are videos on UA-cam just search “hyperx origins core mod” but basically there are like 13 screws which u take off and pry it open carefully and then you can do the tape mod.For lubing the switches, you need a small brush and basically u push down the switch and use the brush to put the lube on the sides.
bro the spacebar sound made me want to jump off a cliff 💀
Whyy???
so aggressive
but nice lol
that's what i notice in every keyboard sound test videos like bro chill what's wrong with you 😐
spacebar is unfixable, except i saw an alloy origins PBT in store and it had pbt keycaps and everything lubed i got shocked

I have Alloy Origins Core and it's already good.
Epic sound 😎

dang the rattle is still there even with band aid mod. Did you try lubing the stabs at least?
Yes I did.
@@Macadiple wth those stabs must be dang awful if it was lubed and band aided 😭😭
Bro types so fuxking hard chill man poor keyboard

@@kidmcfat0823 1 layer of medical tape then 2 layers of washi tape.

@@MacadipleYe I missed the screwn but even after that I cannot get it open, im gonna try again thanks for the reply! :)
Bro dont hit the keys so hard
You say that, but after 3 hours of comp gameplay you'd change your mind
nah i dont think he is hitting the keys so hard
what is the band aid mod genuinely curious so i can tru

Why you hit the spacebar so hard😢
I was recording with my phone and wasn’t sure if the microphone was picking up sounds from keys further away properly 😅
Hay what does the tape mod do?
It makes the sound more poppy and less muted.
are the red switches the linear ones
Yes, but i personally like the aqua ones since they sound like mx reds but more responsive like the mx blues
Yes they are the hyperx red switches
Is it mechanical or what?
Yea it's mechanical but uses switches hyperx made but the seitches arent bad
how do you mod a keyboard that is not hotswap can you show us i have the same keyboard as you do

@@Macadiple thank you so much i will try that!
wait hyperx keyboards are hotswap?
sadly no they aren’t hot swappable.
nope they are not he desoldered the switches
stock way better :skull: i hate these expensive ass sounds
It's not really that expensive to lube though. It's just very time consuming to do so.
Why :skull: use 💀 or press win + . To get the emoji panel.
Is it hot swappable?
nope
it is not.
Can u remove switches or bt
The switches are soldered.
@@Macadiple I’m sorry I don’t understand what soldered is I’m Swedish. But do u mean there not hot swappeble
@@sineroroadto100subs2 Yeah they are not hot swappable.
