I've had the HyperX Alloy Origins LONG before playing osu and it has been a joy to type on in general.
It's about 2 years old now and it's still in mint condition.

I upgraded to a hyperx alloy origins 65 after using the alloy fps pro for many years. Their quality is so good I never had a problem once with that keyboard and I used the heck out of it. Great brand at a great price
I had the exact same upgrade lol, great choice man, I really did enjoy using the alloy origins core, especially for osu!
this has been my keyboard for 2 years and honestly I rlly love it and feel kinda lucky to get it before Amazon literally does not have it available anymore. I tried any other keyboard but I always ended up coming back to this keyboard to play for osu. I may switch soon because I did get the wooting keypad just waiting for it to arrive now.

Should have got the wooting came 2 weeks early for me
I used to only be able to stream 170-180 bpm as a 6 digit, but after I got this keyboard I could do 200bpm after a couple weeks of getting this keyboard.
Maybe you just got better by playing more?
I’m eager to wait for a corsair k65 review from you someday, I’ve saw that it is actually holding the input delay of 0.2ms from a test website’s list :p

Uuuh, interesting, do you mean the k65 60% or tkl? I may consider it, but for now, I am saving up for a new computer because my old ass laptop cannot handle my editing lol, the intro was a pain in the ass to make, but I wanted to make it good.

The 60% version i meant, as it’s the one that was advertised to be 8khz and topped the ol' two he by like 1.1ms lmao (unsure about 60he tho :p)

Just recently bought the keyboard, I’ll be using it as a permanent thing since I had pretty terrible one before. (I also set a 400 out of it lol)

Ive been saving up for a hyperx origins, but i already have a 1000 polling rate keeb with akko rose reds (which have a lower actuation and lowerbottom out like these). Good to know im not gonna waste my money lol

I personally don't think polling rate matters much, especially in standard, unless you're playing like od 11, but even then
@@b1rch i play mania, so being able to hit more than 1 key and having high polling rate is important
@@b1rch it does matter because it gives you a bigger hit window, os more accurate, and you don’t rum the risk of hitting notes every 8ms on fast maps
every ALLOY ORIGINS series keyboards (Origins full, TKL, 65, 60) they all are really good
i personally own ALLOY ORIGINS 60 and its sooooo good im gonna be really honest, im typical high 5 digit(sub 6 digit) and after i got this keyboard *3 days ago* and got used to it, after that i choked so many +300pp plays *cuz nerves...*
still good as gold keyboards (old keyboard Razer BW v2 TKL Yellow sw)

im not gonna lie i had a similar experience with my rapid trigger keyboard i beat all of my scores immediatly its insane
The reason it is so popular is because its 1. cheap. 2. widely available. and 3. has good, smooth switches that make streaming feel great
Also, the keycaps are PBT, not ABS

What switches and keyboard did you previously use?

It should be the same since the switches are the same and both are the same construction.
If anything the 60% might have a stiffer bottom-out since there's less space between standoffs for the board to flex.

Yes, 2 main differences: the TKL and full size both have ABS keycaps, the 60% and 65% have PBT keycaps. Also USB placement (Full and TKL on the right, 60% and 65% on the left).

How do you download other people keyboard configurations?
You just search up HyperX alloy origins lighting preset and download whichever one’s you like, then improt the files into the sodtware, and you’ll be able to use it (different lighting profiles will work differently depending on your keyboard size - tkl, full size, 60 etc.) :)

i play with the k552, i recently borrowed my friends hyperx that hes been using for years, and i played amazing. im not kidding i had 5% better acc on maps and i was able to destroy my top plays right away. i noticed i was way better on jumps (especially dt jumps) but on streaming i was a little better but not nearly as much as with jumps. i also noticed my predicitability was alot better and i could read alot better. in my opinion this is the best osu keyboard (fuck wooting) and i have no idea why (cheater keyboard hahahaah)

Probably because it has a metal frame, and when the board is plugged in, electricity may flow through the material

Not these ones.
They're made out of PBT instead of ABS. Which means they are chemically resistant to the oils on your skin which cause shine
