@CaseysCustoms I bet you are a blast to hangout with. You’re always so excited about everything you do. You put off nothing but positive vibes. I love it man! 😂
You can't go wrong with lace paint and metal flake, I've been doing it for years. It can be addictive. Mistake only add to the history of the car. Well done mate👍
Dang that sucks that grey was such a good combo to the patina once again though I always love how you just go for things it really gives people the go ahead like I watched Casey do it I bet I can
I’ll be doing lace on the hood and aero cap of my camper van come spring. Got inspired to do it when you did it on the old Chevy last year. Now I have a van with garbage paint so I might as well have fun with it.
@caseyscustoms you can take polyester based auto body resin and polyester fabric cloth sheets that have printed designs with really bright colors, and fiberglass it over any part of the cat. It conforms to the shape perfectly and is permanent after that. It adds very little weight too. It looks like a custom graphic design because its already printed on the fabric. Works great for motorcycle tanks also.
and great job rolling with the disaster, I think that patina look will end up coming out straight fire and making it look like that lace has been up there since day 1. cant wait for part 2 man!
Take 2 inch tape and tape a 8 inch strip on top of can of paint and then tape another strip of tape to the last. Do it 3 times and it will make a spout to pour. Also take a flat head screw driver and poke 4 to 6 holes around the deepest part on top of can. The residual will drip back in the can and your lid will still fit nicely.
Lol bro I almost lost my shiz last time you were spraying the clear without covering the other cars! Glad to see you did it this time now I can watch without having clay bar anxiety lmao 👊🏻
the turbo cans don’t get the paint particles in the air more then a couple feet from spraying, paint out of a paintgun on the other hand can and will get everywhere. At least the way i spray it 🤣
Did this on my valve cover on my bagged ek civic with spray cans. Actually got a video of it on my channel. Didnt turn out as good as this but was a first time try.
I think leaving the outside matching the truck and the parts that didn’t mess up would have looked sick too and pulled the rest of the truck into the fancy paint too lol
What happened to your paint job is like trying to apply Rustolieum paint over acrylic paint. The Rustolieum paint will remove the acrylic paint like a paint stripper. Sometimes, using two different paints don't mix, Cassey. Ask your father what kind of paint you should of used.
You put the cost of the small paint gun in the budget list instead of the cost of the big paint gun… remember? It was on sale. Doesn’t make enough difference to matter, just letting ya know how closely I’m watching you! lol
PLEASE LIKE THE VIDEO DMANIT!
I will on Tuesday if it doesn't look stupid
You can't spray a lacquer over an enamel. That's why it lifted.
I did 😉
Ok, but I'm not doing any comments!
....oops
I press like on all your videos. If there was a hack to do more, I'd do that too 😆
@CaseysCustoms I bet you are a blast to hangout with. You’re always so excited about everything you do. You put off nothing but positive vibes. I love it man! 😂
Mad scientist😂 loved the video. Like how you keep it real through the good and the bad.
Yep. Was wanting to do like a ghost lace on my c10 roof for years

Your having fun, that's what it's all about. My grandkids even watch you. Gets them fired up about trying some stuff too
I have had the lifting experience with implement paint before. Luckily it was on an implement project so it wasn't the end of the world.
Yea the more I’ve talked to guys the more i think i didn’t prep right and the shop was too cold. Oh well you live and you learn
Thank you! I so needed this video. I'm planning on doing a lace job on my roof sometime in the next year.

Was hoping you'd do lace.
I think it’s better that it lifted looks great and matches the rest of the truck
Tractor paint is usually oil base it's hard to get new paint to go with it. It has to sit for a few days in 80 degrees to get it take

Thanks for sharing with us
Holy crap you gonna salvage that
Great video
Never knew you had a second channel, you should mention it more
Yes Sir!!!

Already ready for the video tomorrow
Any trouble spraying the glitter with the paint gun you used?
Didn’t know I needed an extendo blower till now
Same, got to find a piece of metal fuel line in the garage and see if I can hook it to my regular blower

Hope you covered the hole in the back of the truck so that you don't have another accident 😮
A 'see the next video to see how it turns out'? I really didn't take you for one of 'those' guys Casey! Just kidding, I understand.
I don’t like being one of those guys lol
I think leaving the outside matching the truck and the parts that didn’t mess up would have looked sick too and pulled the rest of the truck into the fancy paint too lol
I want to do this on my 61 fairlane 500
Casey!! what kind of games you play dude!
I leave 24 hours between coats... I haven't had any problems yet..! I only do that because I've learn't the hard way...
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Was the tractor enamel then you got urethane over that go with urethane basecoat white
What are those large coloured tubes behind you at the start?
Those are Tig rod storage tubes from blue demon welding, they are cool as hell
@@CaseysCustoms Nice. Makes sense. Thanks
You need to stick with enamel on enamal the clear is probably a urathean and will eat up that implament paint almost every time
i have no clue wtf i just watched :P im sure this is gonna be awesome but wild coloring

Isn't that implement paint oil based?

Enamel and eurothane do not mix
Sorry man but I hate it lol. But I liked the video for you still!
