Thanks for sharing. I would never come in summer months. Much too hot and crowded. I don’t mind it being a little cool. Merry Christmas to you and Kim!!🎄
Christmas in Rome is so fun! Lots of Italian tourists in Rome for Christmas. There are Christmas markets in Piazza Navona and elsewhere. Take a day trip to Tilovi. So many romantic places you will just stumble upon. You are going to have so much fun! We will also be in Rome for Christmas, Naples for New Years Eve.
thanks for all your tips ! very valuable !! We will travel to Rome (fisrt time) this December; please advice us ... to visit St. Peter's Basilica, as you say, no lines at 8 am? really?? or should we book a Tour to save valuable time? thanks for everything !
St peters Basilica now opens at 7am and the museum at 8am. If you get there before 8am lines will be minimal. Avoid Wednesdays it does not open until early afternoon as they due to Papal visits and it is very crowded. December is a very good month to visit, my favorite. Second half of December gets crowded with European and Italian tourists but still a great time.
@@RozierRoma thanks so much. We will be there early December, so that's great. We will wake up early and arrive at 7 am, I'll let you know how the experience happens. We will continue reviewing your videos, great for any tourist, either first timer like us or experienced !!
Another great thing to do is to climb to the top of Saint peters. You can take a elevator halfway and then stairs the rest of the way and that opens up at 8 AM. If you get there early enough, you can get in line to do that and then afterwards check out the basilica. if you wait too long, the line might be long but in December, you won’t have a problem even if you get there at 8 AM.
I've been watching to many vídeos showing that Rome is full of works to restore monuments because of the Jubilee celebrations, does it make it difficult to see the monuments? Is it still worth it to go?
It is a hard call. Yes there are several things in repair and it will impact your visit but I still think there are enough things that are still open. Waiting to next year you will get to be in Rome for the jubilee but how crowded will it be? I am betting by December 2024 most thing will be opened and will be a great month in Rome. Fingers crossed!
Great idea for a video with high value content. But your title is telling me NOT to click and watch. The title promotes curiosity with "Why December is the best month to be in Rome" but then the title answers with "No Crowds, Nice Weather & Christmas". Leave the answer in the content of the video so It makes me want to watch.

You’re right. We’ve been to Roma 32 times now and counting !! Our second home !
Nice! We just spent new years eve in Napoli. If you have not done it yet you really should someday
What a great tip - thank you! I will consider this next time I plan a trip to Italy 🤩🤩
Slowly catching on but tap & go is a game changer
Grazie mille! Buon Natale!
Christmas is my favorite time in Italia! 💚💫❤️
Buon Natale & happy capo d’anno!
Great video! You convinced me!
Italy from May to Sep is just too crowded. Many cities are nice but the main cities including Rome are too busy. Give December a try someday.
Thanks for you videos. Coming tin February in 24 for my third visit to Rome.... Couldn't make December. Looking to go to Rome in December of 24.
Nice you are making 2 trip in 24. Have a great time.

Merry Christmas!
Amazing video - thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Magnifico!
Mui magnifico!
Great video! Thank you. Would you say the month of January would be an equivalent month in terms of cost and busyness compared to December?
Yes. In December things pick up the last 2 weeks of the month but then slow back down in January.
Great video! Im going with my girlfriend this Christmas. Do you have any recommendations for romantic activities or romantic restaurants?

Great video. Will it be fine to bring toddler from India during December winters
I think so, it doesn’t get that cold but compared to India I’m not sure
Thank you @@RozierRoma
