This reminds me of the rmx16, that kinda David Bowie / Prince nonlin2 preset vibe but fresh and it's own thing with such cool options to play with. Great work as always, Chris!
I almost passed on this video/reverb until I saw your RMX16 comment. Downloaded it immediately and you're totally right! This might be my new favorite from Chris
Could it be that he was using on Station to Station? There is a nonlin quality, you're right, but I thought it was the 140 just without any regeneration. That'll act 'nonlin' too, because it's just one 'swathe' of reverb without any decay.
@@airwindows that's what I was thinking, I can't be sure though, I really like the quality of the no regen + a bit of derez, really beautiful stuff Chris. I meant to ask how did you get on with the script for your vca fader by colour thing? Any progress?
Check my recent livestreams: I developed an alternate tuning-correction in Reaper that's not ReaTune! I'd been doing it all 'manual' anyway. I'm really no vocalist but I care… and that can be heard… and when I tweak playback pitch of stuff (tiny clips in arrange window) that's way off, it fixes bad notes in a more natural way. If you can tweak playback rate of clips you can do it too :)
It's just a song. I'm not even a real vocalist. I HAVE, however, been studying all the ways of hit songs. Got some ideas along those lines, and I talk about them in my livestreams :)
10:47 "so we can do this" *memories of Big Boo's Haunt music from Mario 64* Also, I'm SO excited about the beginning part (ConsoleX, StoneFireComp...), makes me happy about being alive :DD. When I am able to donate to you, I will. If I had to pay $50 for every plugin I use on every mix, song, demo or whatever, I'd have to pay you around $500. I love Logical4, Tape (the minimalistic one withouth the flutter), Console7, Mojo, Density2, Pressure (5 & 4) and most of your reverbs, the "Coat" series, the "kPlate" series, the last two "kCathedral" series, Galactic... PitchDelay, TapeDelay2, AutoPan, GlitchShifter, your choruses... I don't say I love them all just because I don't know them all, but I do my mixes with just stock plugins and your plugins, the vast majority of the time. Not only have I learned things with your videos but I've also learned to hear better, to mix better, even to be a nicer person(?). By the way, I also forgot to mention ADClip8, ClipOnly2, Desk, TransDesk, TubeDesk, Recurve and curve (I like the concept and the sound)... Oh boy there's a lot haha. I guess what I want to say is thank you, thank you for your generosity, for your kindness, for sharing your knowledge, for your plugins, for your music, I am waiting for your album, I'm in the process of recording mine, and if ConsoleX comes out in the mixing process, I will most likely use that as well. Take care, sending you love and good wishes!
This one, and he also has this freezing reverb/feedback thing which is sooo awesome and handy, I think it was Infinity2. Which automatically removes stuff from the feedback loop very intelligently to keep levels reasonable. Fun to use!
Compare 'em to the shirt ;) I did a new thing which is an alternate color correction that doesn't do weird artifacting on bright tones. And I did indeed boost saturation, and I can certainly tweak that. It's all a learning process, EVERYTHING is a learning process. I thank you :)
Nice one Chris, it's nice to have these options in a reverb, the predlay sounds great, still very analogue too, and the derez can help a lot to glue stuff together by taking off the brilliance but in an analogue fashion (ooh wah wah). I'm doing a Clapton type track at the moment with my guitar, and I'm always wanting that reverb that doesn't sound like a reverb!! I'm going to try this right now (still can't believe you jumped out a plane) NB: Strange Chris, as I was thinking about how about build a plugin that has all your plugins in it, turns out by reading your page that, that is what is happening. Wow, love the GUI Chris, way-to-go!! Just experimenting with the reverb now. Link to Demo - ua-cam.com/video/KWvOLEpYre8/v-deo.html
The open source world means that all that stuff can be happening. I only have to trust that I can survive on Patreon, and MIT license all this 'generic plugin' stuff,. and eventually other people DO start doing all sorts of things with it :) that never pays me a cent, but the Patreon does! So it all can happen, and doesn't do me any harm :)
I am American and I don't know why, please don't tell me it's something political. I cant stand to find out another youtuber I watch in the realm of music making is derranged about politics. I don't remember you doing any videos about how you are depressed and how important mental health is, those always seem to be linked, but I don't watch what you do very closely so... I'll just stop the video now to be safe.
Hey, do what you please. It's a free country. I'm just making plugins, so I'm not blue except when I vote :D if you don't like that, that's really not your worst problem ;) damn right it was but I'm here to make plugins and today things look better anyhow :)
GREAT sounds! These plugins keep getting better and BETTER....

Not yet. I'll probably have to learn to code that stuff myself to get it to work. Could happen.
I think you’re a good vocalist, Chris - certainly not mediocre. It suits what you do admirably. 👍

Damn that vocal is catchy!

Oooooh
That sounds awesome man....I definitely feel that oldskool thing, especially on the vocals. So many sonic options...bravo!!!
The squish and saturation on those compounded layers all together is downright magical. So maxed out... yet so smooth!!
you´re amazing dude, cant thank you enough for bringing your work to us mere mortals

Wow, that sounds awesome. Can make a vocal sound really expensive!
Let’s gooooo chris! Hope you are well man.
Bravo. Ambient goodness
Best intro on UA-cam bar none
What, the music? That'll come out on bandcamp when the album's done :D
grazie Chris, ammiro il grande impegno nello sviluppo dei tuoi plugin e soprattutto nella divulgazione della fisica del suono. Ciao!
just tried it out, it can really sound like a dark, silky smooth plate. great stuff!
Can't wait to try all these upcoming reverbs!
This one is really cool!
Genius stuff as always….
that experimental ambient track is great
Nice. Sounds like CreamCoat can do a paulXstretch / emergence-lite kind of thing. Sounds amazing.

Amazing! Sounds great! Thank you very much!
Oh man that station to station sound you got with an overdriven tube stage in there would sound so cool, like Chris Cornell on when I’m down vibes
This sounds to be a great tool.
Taking the idea from a popular recording was a good thing
definitely would use in my synths, this is very useful, thanks!
btw, it might be cool if you could add a modulation before regen.
The one that would be sick with modulation is CrunchCoat. In Rack you can do that just by running a cable to the DeRez…
The skin tones in this video are tuned to be a bit too sunburnt if you ask me.. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

beauty
Oh you gotta make one that's called CringeCoat now. No idea what it would be doing, but the alliteration must go on! xD
only $9000 a month! What a DEAL!
what a cool as heck sound, is this in consolidated or is there a way to update consolidated?
You just re-download Consolidated, it's new each week :)
@@airwindows awesome thank you.
Interesting! Is the 'Regen' a feedback function?
That's literally what it is, well spotted! In some future verbs there's more going on with it, but this one's very clean feedback.

@@airwindows Thanks Chris. The 'Consolidated' plugin works really well, and such a good idea for your plugins. Much appreciation for all your work.
Whoa yeah! Freakshow Industries minus the crime 😳
& probably less latency (prison takes a while 🙄)
freakshow plugins hurt my head
Would Love to see your plugins as AAX.
Keep your pt shit away from here. Its all love here !
Pas pire pantoute ça!
