You're right, they did everything for this album during quarantine from their homes and over Zoom, including filming themselves.
I really appreciate them continuing to produce content during quarantine, tons of people at home with nothing to do but surf UA-cam.
As already mentioned in the comments, they each recorded themselves alone at home. They also noted how they had to learn to do stuff like lighting that they were accustomed to someone doing for them. It's also interesting how the editor tried to make each of their recent videos look different.
imagine-pentatonix is a huge must. The song fits in with our messed up world and they sound amazing
Yes, I saw an interview and they all are recording in their own apartments, and doing all their own sound and lights, and then it is turned over to the editor. The entire EP was done that way. They arranged the music via zoom and continue to be
separated for quarantine and working from their own spaces.

YESS! I went to check to see if he had, but since he hasn't, I have to second your request. What they managed to produce with so little money will blow his mind.
They released their At Home EP (quarantine project) at the end of June, and have released one video a week for the past month so you’re catching the last video from this EP, but the others are quite worth watching as well. They all have the individual shots, but all 5 videos manage to have a different look and mood.
I say this every time but the editor had to put 5 totally separate recordings together of people that harmonized without hearing each other sing. Then he had to put 5 different videos shot from 5 different houses and make them sound and look excellent.
They put out 4 other videos where the editor had to do the same thing. PLEASE do those soon. I would love to get your analysis of those.

Thanks for the primer on the video production that was used here - whoever does their video production is first rate and enormously creative. Does a great job of accenting the song without distracting from it (Hallelujah official video is a great example). And Matt has really taken up the load from losing Avi and he and Kevin have developed a strong partnership. Thanks for covering this and best to your pal there!

Very insightful! When Kevin sings the whole way thru...5 part harmonies... beautiful!! Just like the members & the backgrounds of nature. I thought they were going for the “dreamy” vibe. As others said, there are 4 more videos released in the last 5 weeks with Millions if views so you can definitely jump on this train! And your editing commentary is perfect b/c the editor made each one look/ feel different while all filmed/ recorded in each members home! Looking forward to those reviews! Funny you should mention Scott's skin tone being too pink in this video - in all of the others, especially the first one for 'Home', people mentioned that he was the only one that looked too pale. So maybe the editor was trying to adjust that for him and went a tad too pink. Really good info- that's why we love your reactions ! Thanks :)

...and they're all wearing white to help the background transparencies balance uniformly/consistently. Should ALWAYS have Key and Fill lights, and in most cases, soft reflectors/diffusers.

Not sure if you notice the needle the Dr was putting into his neck it goes my kind of fast. When you said you saw the pain in his eyes you were right emotional and physical pain. He did not even smile at the end after the end he did a quick thank you and left. Also, you saw the shock on the other contestant's faces they already heard Dimash do higher notes than this, they were surprised because they knew he was sick. Please react to Angelina Jordan's "Feeling Good" @GJx8 also if you could explain if they made a mistake with the lighting in the beginning, it bothers me but I love her singing.

You focus too much what's going on in the background . Their vocals is so much more important than the background of what's going on what's going on and I felt that you'd focus more on the scenery than their vocals
