I've said before how lacking Halberds usually are in Elden Ring, but the Dragon Halberd always stood out as one of my favorties. Simple, low-ish requirements, and great scaling...
So I wanted to give it an ugprade.

as someone who's loved the dragon halberd for essentially being a really cool looking poleaxe, I love that this new moveset really builds into the more poleaxe nature of it rather than making it another halberd

Definitely should remake Loretta’s spear and the silver mirrorshield, simply because it feels like a waste to not have some of her sorcery casting mixed in with the usual blue slashing
I'd really like to see what you could do with the Frozen Needle, it's such a unique looking weapon but so meh in game. I'd love to feel like there was a reason to use it

Bloody helice had been a hidden gem that I think would be awesome seeing a reimagined, more blood attack based weapon
I think the bloody helice is really cool as it is right now. The ash of war is super fun to use and deals crazy damage.
I always felt like reapers got the short end of the cool stick, especially the crescent scythe
I also love their crit animation, that was a nice detail here

Glad to see you tackle another halberd and another faith weapon. The black halberd moveset was easily the best you’ve done with by far the coolest weapon art. Could you possibly do the Eclipse Shotel or the Cinquedea next? Both cool weapons with really lackluster weapon arts
I think cinquedea would have been really cool if bestial incantations were worked into its move set or ash of war

I was wondering if you'd be willing to take a look at the meteoric ore blade? it's such a unique katana that scales with strength, but is stuck with a sorta mid ash of war. Maybe make its heavy attacks really live up to its description of strikes resembling the crash of a falling meteor.
Man, the background music is so.. oddly relaxing. Genuinely felt myself getting a little tired watching this.

It seems maybe a bit too quick for most swings compared to the other weapons in the game, but it sure looks sweet.
We need stance of Eochaid, a classic example of when video game boss joins our team vs when you fight him.

The moveset is just SO fast, tho. Looks faster than most non-dagger weapons. Kinda just, idk, feels almost too strong
Damn, this one is a lot better than the prior weapon fixes! You actually kept the buff this time around, which is quite nice. I will once again comment that the reason the weapon lacks lightning damage is related to the lore around ice lightning, though It doesnt matter much. I do have to ask why faith scaling was added, though, as lightning doesnt scale with faith in ER hahaha.
I think a couple of the animations are slightly too fast, but otherwise its a lot more reasonable this time around.
As for a weapon deserving of a moveset change? Perhaps the Carian Knight's Sword could get the love it needs.
Unless they changed it lightning absolutely scales with Faith? Any weapon with a lightning weapon skill scaled with faith, like the Lance from dragonlord

The dragonking cragblade doesnt scale with faith. nor the bolt of gransax. nor any weapon with a lightning infusion. nor the dragon greatclaw. Literally none of them have faith scaling or ever have had faith scaling in any iteration of the game. You can look it up
EDIT: even lightning consumables scale with dex exclusively. Only incant lightning has faith scaling.
@@zergray6851 I'm aware the weapons themselves don't have faith scaling, but I do believe the weapon skills specifically have a hidden faith scaling, I remember testing them with no faith and with faith and the difference was very noticeable
I would love to see Loretta’s war sickle get some love. It’s a cool weapon that is sadly outclassed by the Swordspear with the Loretta’s slash AoW.
I'm just gonna drop a tip that everyone probably knows here:
The Antspur Rapier is not a Somberstone-upgraded weapon, despite inflicting the unique and powerful status among weapons, Scarlet Rot. Therefore, you can put Ashes of War on it like any other weapon. If you've picked up the Black Whetblade in Nokron/Night's Sacred Ground, Seppuku and a Poison Ash, you can put Seppuku on the Antspur Rapier and make it a poison armament, so when you use Seppuku with the rapier still equipped, you can take advantage of _Poison, Scarlet Rot, and Bleed at the same time_ if you have no moral compass and a lack of a faith towards a higher being.
I only want to take advantage of all of that to go after the higher power in question.

You could give the greatshield and hammer thingy the draconic tree sentinel uses their own powerstance attacks since he attacks with both. Weapon art could be a neat red lightning spell that imbues your weapons and body with the stuff.
I love this weapon so much. Its so fun to use. Too bad you cant get untill later on the game after Radahn

Oh this is perfect! I was thinking with the Dragonscale Blade one that it was just a bit too flashy, but this is just the right level of flash to make it feel special without feeling out of place.
Also it's kinda funny that you took a weapon that was basically all thrusts and gave it no thrusts at all.
In my opinion I think the halberd goes great with the banished knight set

Even if this is a slept on weapon (never had it or used it myself, but I’ve seen quite a bit of gameplay both in game from friends and invaders, and just YT videos), you can’t deny that it’s one of the coolest looking weapons.
The fact lighning weapon scale ONLY with dex is just a tragedy
genuinely think the moveset is cartoonishly fast, it looks cool i guess, but makes it feel unreal? like its a super lightweight broomstick.

I would love to see the Godslayer's Greatsword get a WA that gives it a passive blackflame effect
Ya know one thing i'd like to see is a rework to a INT based dagger in the same vein as the Aquamarine Dagger from DS3...sure the weapon itself was not the best, but the unique weapon art where it basically became a lightsaber was always so visually appealing. Maybe a dagger like the Glintstone Kris would be a nice fit.
I've always felt the Snakebone katana should have had a different move set to fit the snakes and the poison effect the sword has instead of you're basic every day katana animations... possibly more thrusts attacks to feel like a snake lunging to bite (though that sounds like it could go to the venomous fang weapon)
Hands down, my favorite one to get a fix up
I used this weapon in a strength faith build I made. I ended up switching it out for a weapon with better scaling, but I really liked using it. I think the changes you made are really cool, it makes sense to give this weapon the bloodborne spin since status effect buildup is a big part of the weapon.

I would love to see the meteoric ore blade remade, especially considering it's bland ash of war you can get anywhere else and how it's meant to hit with the strength of meteoric impact
Black knife assassin dagger next
I know they don’t need it but... imagine radahn swords swinging around while rocks are flying everywhere. Basic attacks using gravity magical sound cool and broken
if i ever were to edit a weapon, it would probably be the flowing curved sword
i'd want more of the moveset to feel fluid, and the best way to do that is to give its r1 attacks the same anims as the scimitar/shamshir
Could you consider doing the Treespear if you haven't already? I feel it could be more unique than it is.
Honestly, you know what I would love to see?
Marais Executioner's Sword with it's ash of war changed as follows:
Holding L2 (I play on PS4, don't judge me lol) puts your character in the "Square Off" stance animation. Pressing light attack in this stance does the telekinetic sword slashing towards whoever you're locked onto (2 slashes on input) with the option for a second light attack follow-up for 2 more slashes.
Pressing heavy attack while stanced does the ash of war as it is now, with the same feature that holding heavy attack charges up the skill.
What do you think? Too complicated to program, or perhaps just simple enough to make work? If you couldn't tell, I've thought about this for a while now lol.
Any of the Erdtree themed weapons, especially staff of the avatar or golden halberd. The fact they have such lame ashes of wars makes the golden order fundamentalist in me sob.
Would be in absolute adoring shock to see my favorite golden boys enwreathed in holy magic as they deserve to be

I would absolutely love if Varre's Bouquet didn't actually hit like it was just a bunch of flowers attached to a shitty hammer. :)
You should do Varre's Bouquet next, it has always felt like it should be stronger.
I personally would've loved to see the Zweihander to get some more love, it's a lighter Ultra greatsword and it would fit for it to have faster attack but that it might deal a little bit lower damage

i think that the nox flowing sword has a lot of potential to be a really cool weapon, but they only really use the stretching effect on the unique skill and it just hits once. I imagine it doing a flowing combo like waterfowl dance

A weapon that I think would be great with a reimagined moveset would be the Regalia of Eochaid. I don't see it used very often unlike it's greatsword counterpart. It's got some lore of it's origin and the design of the thing is pretty cool

some of the animations look a bit to fast for a weapon of this size, but overall it's looking really great. i really like what you did with the weapon art.
I would love to see the cross-naginata reimagined since it is good but it doesn't feel right as a a naginata it doesn't have the twist turns spins and delicate smooth flow its supposed to as a naginata. It's really good but i feel like it could have more love shown to it even though it's one of my very few favorites.
A bit late, but I'd love a "new" moveset for the Starscourge Greatswords. I say "new" because I think it would be much better with a version "old" moveset of the Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords instead of the standard power stanced moveset it has now. Love your channel and what you've done with everything so far!
I’ve already done several ice lightning playthroughs. Using bothe the Dragonscale blade and the Dragonscale halberd and ice lightning spear.
And let me just say, 3 ice lightning abilities are not enough for a good playthrough.
Ice lightning itself is actually op, but there’s only three things that you can do with it at the time of this comment.
I would 100% use this dragon halberd in my ice lightning build.
(Let me be very clear, if there were more I’ve lightning abilities, I would focus my entire gameplay around it. I absolutely love the idea as a Cryomaniac).
This weapon is one of my favorites as a Faith/Dex build

The Envoy's Horns were always fun weapons to me, but seeing a unique twist on them would be cool. Maybe making the Oracular Bubble skill like Unsheathe or Square Off where one follow up input is normal and the other plants a bubble where the enemy is similar to the envoys?
I’m really curious to see what you can do with the big boys. The Black Blade or the Royal Greatsword. I love these weapons, though they most definitely leave much to be desired in terms of moveset.

Would love to see something like this for Godslayers greatsword, or either of the red lightning weapons. They always felt a little underwhelming
Personally I'd like to see a reimagining of the Mohg's Sacred Spear. With how wide Mohg's attacks are in his fight and the slamming it was not often he'd use it for thrusting so it'd be cool to see something be done.
Maybe I’m just a bit of a shill for holy weapons, but I’ve always thought it was a shame that the coded sword didn’t get anything totally unique for its moveset.

I feel like Bolt of Gransax is only loved because its ash of war is a better lightning spear, I wish it didn't just have the generic spear move set.
Do you have plans for the Axes, Spears, and Shields mod going forward? I was really excited to see it fully fleshed out and do a dual small shields run.

it always bugged me how most of the lighting/dragon weapons (such as Bolt of Gransax and Dragon King's Cragblade) didnt require or scale with faith, but the dragon incants DO require faith. i guess it opens up more options for dex builds but it just seems kind of inconsistent to me.

I just got this halberd from dragonkin last night. Vanilla v1.00 looks similar with that modded halberd, req str xx, dex 10 and faith 20, with scaling CDD for str dex and faith. Oh and its split damage too with phys and lightning XD. Though the moveset is standard R1 thrust and R2 spinning slash and weapon art charging forth. Havent really tried it yet, need to kill rennala and respec...
We need more movesets that don't break balance
I really think the fire monk weapons should have had the fire skills we see the fire monks doing as their weapon skill. Or maybe the Mace has fire and the sword has blackfire. Fire monks with maces are much more common and i remember more blackflame minks with swords than regular.
It's an abolsute monster for dealing with mobs of all kinds. However, this version doesn't look weighty enough, if that makes sense.
With regards to weapons that seem like deserve love, the watchdog greatsword always seemed odd to me. The only thing about it that differentiates it from the Greatsword™is that it weighs 1 unit less and I think it blocks better, which is really disappointing.

Could you do a video with some Great Axes (like the Crescent Great Axe) having a decent moveset idea? Like, for example, moving like Godfrey moves his axe, or like Black Knight GreatAxe moved in DS3… I miss that moveset so much on Great Axes.
Merikas hammer it's kinda weird it didn't get the same treatment as the ruins greatsword with its charged heavy attacks another weapon that could use a rework would be the snake god curved sword idk if that's its actual name but it's basically just a normal curved sword in the shape of a snake I think it should have a unique moveset
Wanna see what kind of stuff you could do to the cipher pata and coded sword. Favorites of mine but they kinda got shafted in terms of uniqueness in favor of just looking kinda cool. Style compels me to use em but man they're really plain.

Flame monk weapons? The mace says that the strong attack "rouses a firey spirit" but they're still slightly unique looking normal weapons
