Me as a native and still resident German, livin much closer to 'bella Italia', is wondering why ! :-) What I want to say is: the recipe sounds freakin great and the video makes my mouth . . . ready for action. Just loaded down all I need to make it and be sure - it's on top of my to do list ! ! ! THANKS DUDE
It does look good and I'm sure it tastes wonderful. Sheep ricotta cheese (or cows ricotta if that's all is available) is supposed to be used which is traditional and not cream. The ricotta makes its own cream.
Hey Matt please make Beef Braciole. It is a rolled flank steak stuffed with bread crumbs , herbs and vegetables. It is topped with a tomatoe sauce also.
I make this all the time. Its my version of Hamburger Helper, well without the truffle. I just use mushrooms, garlic, onions and assorted peppers. I like mine spicy.
I can get down with that. Very nice. Reminds me of a popular dish we cook here in south Louisiana. It's called Pastalaya...the bastard cousin to Jambalaya. Basically use noodles instead of rice. I like rotini for the dish. Look it up and give it a try.
I make "tuna mushroom pasta," cook sliced mushrooms in butter, open a large can of tuna, pour brine into a cup, add 2 forkfulls of cornflour, stir through. Break up tuna with a fork. Add to mushrooms and heat through. Pour in the brine stirring until it thickens, add dill, paprika and a small amount of garlic. Stir in 1 cup sour cream. Serve stirred into cooked penne, nice cold as a salad. The colour may be a bit grey if you use open mushrooms, (try for halloween) but the flavour is great. The mushrooms wrap around the pasta if sliced thin enough, and cooked down. For garlic bread, try cutting 1 inch rounds from a hot-dog bun, then dress as you choose. Extra hit-dog buns split lengthwise as you did the french loaf, make great pizza subs. 6 buns makes a tray of garlic bread and 6 subs. Try adding creamed corn to make your pizza juicy? Or put 2 flat wraps down on your pizza tray, the lower one goes crunchy, the top one may go a bit soggy, you can put cheese between to glue them together. Use a fork to hold the pizza as you cut it up, if you have no pizza wheel, to save burning the fingers. Bbq sauce, chunks of leftover bbq chicken and grated mozzarella, makea quick yummy pizza. All the best.

@@kayc8232 unfortunately I didn’t love this recipe and I usually love his dishes. Wasn’t creamy enough and from looking at traditional recipes that are creamy, they use a ricotta mixture not cream.

Traditionally it’s always made with pork but I’d say adjust it per your preferences
