when i was 4 i would run around the kitchen while my mom and aunts made food for the men haying. the whole ranch depended on getting the hay done. we raised beef cows here in mt. watching your mom bringing you food in the field brought back those memories. thanks
lonnie jacobs that takes me back a few years when my grandpa made hay for the cows and all the men and us children was out and then hear grandma call “dinner is done” it was really nice and then eat Swedish fika. Simon from Sweden🇸🇪
Just drove past your farm today (Sunday) and saw you going to feed the heifers thought it was cool to see a star in real life keep that grind up bro cool to see you out there workin
To bad your daughter couldn't hang out with you and drive the 🚜 tractor. She is just adorable. Hope you and the family are doing ok. I hope that there will be minimal to no affect of this shut down will affect your business. You guys work so hard and would seriously be bummed if it hurts your business. Til next time please be safe. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Michelle, Pup Harley and Kitty Liam from Arlington, Massachusetts
Remember to turn your tractor off when you’re doing something with the mower. It’s not much but it can save your fingers, hands or even life. Great work as always : D Regards from Poland!
Its so awesome to see your mom out there...the wife of 9th generation dairyman, mother of 10th generation dairyman and grandmother of 11th generation dairygirl....knowing her husband and son need to work in the fields......so she brings you lunch!
Love how you explain the details, how and why you do things, the things that go wrong and how you fix them. Also beautiful color and contrast from the GoPro. Audio is good too.
I been carrying a cordless impact for knives but last year I threw on a cordless 4-1/2" grinder. You won't believe how nice it is to just quick grind an edge on a knife now and then when you knock something. It's a staple on the tractor when mowing now
Thank you I finally found somebody on here that sharpens the blades on the mower. I know it's faster and it saves money but everybody on UA-cam just throws the blade down. I would have ran that blade for a few years or till it had a bad bend in it that I couldn't get out.
I've been off the farm for 30 years. One of my favorite things to do is to ride my dual sport through the countryside while the farmers are cutting hay. The true definition of aroma.
Nice to see the whole family working and everyone doing there part, once again you have proved yourself to be a hard worker and a true loyal lover of the things you have been intrusted too,,, family,, God,, the farm and all the animals....good job my friend, keep your chin up....
I like the machinery shots. I also like that you have a good crop, farming is hard even when everything goes right and that doesn't happen very often. Good video Eric.
How can anyone dislike this video, the content is excellent, language family friendly and educative all through. Can't thank you enough for giving me ideas.
I used to install two-way radios in farm equipment around my state, and by far, the dairy farms were some of the hardest working operations I've ever seen. Kudos to them all!
Wish I had the money to buy y'all all new equipment. Honestly, I'd settle just to be able to pay for everything to be 100% repaired and maintained. Keep doing good work, sir!
I spent all of my childhood growing up on my family's Dairy Farms it was the best years of my life I miss it so much your videos bring back so many memories and it's nice to see that hard work still pays off great job keep them coming
I am amazed at how relaxing it is to watch you mow and do farm work. It was snowing here in Erie and it is May!. H ope you get better weather for drying down your way. Thanks for another great video.
So I found you at 12:00 midnight CST and watched as many videos as I could until about 10:00 AM and looked at your upload history and saw you hadn’t uploaded in awhile. I’ve never clicked on a video faster. I love watching your videos. I know I could never do your job but love seeing all of it
Those of us that are office, IT, and so-called "knowledge" workers - that literally haven't been outside for more than 30 minutes each week for the past 7 weeks - are looking with so much appreciation and envy at farmers like yourself enjoying the warmer, sunny weather. I will also think twice about the origin and supply chain when I click 'add to cart' on milk or steak or bread at my favorite online grocer.
I grew up in the country and my family rented out our land. It is awesome seeing why you do things a certain way, definitely answers questions I've had for years. Please be sure to disconnect the PTO or to turn off your tractor before fiddling with the business end of equipment. You got a wife and child who depend on you, take care of yourself so you can take care of them. Thankyou for all of your hard work and dedication for the consumers, I for sure am grateful. P.S. the drone footage in your videos as well as explanations are a great addition! Cheers 👍
THANKS for all the camera angles!!! I know you could do your job faster if you didn't have to keep stopping, moving cameras, etc--but it makes your vids that much more awesome!!!!! Thanks for sharing your hard work with the world! God bless!!!!
Really like your videos. I had a friend in elementary school that lived on a dairy farm and i had a lot of fun with him on thier family farm. I was way too young back then to understand how much hard work it actualy is. Some people just take it for granted that they can buy anything they need in a store but dont ever think about how much hard work goes into making it. You do a good work showing what goes into giving us the luxury of just going to a store and beeing able to buy milk. (btw feels silly saying "back then". im about the same age as you but elementary school was like 15 years ago.)
I been watching a lot of your videos over the last year and one thing I learnt about you. You really love Mountain Dew. Other then that amazing work on your videos.
The grain name caught my eye. I recalled the name from some long ago watched TV show. So I looked it up, from Wikipedia: 'Quadrotriticale was a fictional high-yield, perennial grain featured in the the "Trouble with Tribbles" episode of Star Trek. Specifically, it was a genetically engineered hybrid of wheat and rye with four distinct lobes per kernel.' That was a particularly good episode. Enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for uploading. Learned a few things. This is what the Internet is for.

Unless you have allergies. But still worth it. . Oh how I miss Montana. . Thanks. .
Just drove past your farm today (Sunday) and saw you going to feed the heifers thought it was cool to see a star in real life keep that grind up bro cool to see you out there workin
I appreciate the education and quality of the videos you provide.
Awesome video Eric, keep up the great work!

God bless all the mothers out there and wives who are out their fixing lunch and dinner. happy Mother's Day to my fellow Moms. Great video!
Remember to turn your tractor off when you’re doing something with the mower. It’s not much but it can save your fingers, hands or even life. Great work as always : D Regards from Poland!
You're right dude
Its so awesome to see your mom out there...the wife of 9th generation dairyman, mother of 10th generation dairyman and grandmother of 11th generation dairygirl....knowing her husband and son need to work in the fields......so she brings you lunch!
Eat lunch with one hand, drive the tractor with the other. Gotta make time! “See that knife? It’s not going to cut it.” Great pun!!!
Hi Eric! Great video! Wow that crop sure looks healthy! Thanks for all your work, putting the videos together for us! Stay safe and healthy!
I grew up on a 40 head dairy farm during the 70s and 80s. I sure enjoy seeing young people want to farm, and families farming together.
Love your videos. Still would like to see more family stuff. You are an interesting guy.Keep the videos coming.
Love how you explain the details, how and why you do things, the things that go wrong and how you fix them. Also beautiful color and contrast from the GoPro. Audio is good too.

After watching a number of your uploads I have a much better understanding and appreciation of our Diary Farmers.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Mother's Day. It is great to have a mom that runs food to you in the middle of a field.
There’s so much more to Dairy Farming than just milking. All farmers work so hard. Respect!!!
Thanks for the show...wish we had Smell A Vision video, love the smell of a fresh cut green crop. Keep on keeping on.
I've been off the farm for 30 years. One of my favorite things to do is to ride my dual sport through the countryside while the farmers are cutting hay. The true definition of aroma.

Thanks for your videos man... I like them. Happy Mother's Day!
Again, a delightful episode. Please remain as natural as you are. I so enjoy these. Thanks.
I like the machinery shots. I also like that you have a good crop, farming is hard even when everything goes right and that doesn't happen very often. Good video Eric.

I love the wonder in your voice when you experience something new. Beautiful vistas as you mow...
Another interesting and informative video Eric. It's a joy to watch you work and all that you accomplish. Thank you
you backed that cutter in to the shed like an absolute BOSS. haha, no doubt you've done it countless times but still, impressive!

Hi Mom!! Thanks for having an AWESOME son!
I used to install two-way radios in farm equipment around my state, and by far, the dairy farms were some of the hardest working operations I've ever seen. Kudos to them all!
Righteous skill set. Well deserved Dew!
Wish I had the money to buy y'all all new equipment. Honestly, I'd settle just to be able to pay for everything to be 100% repaired and maintained. Keep doing good work, sir!

I think seeing that crop mowed and left in a row is very satisfying.
I am amazed at how relaxing it is to watch you mow and do farm work. It was snowing here in Erie and it is May!. H ope you get better weather for drying down your way. Thanks for another great video.
