I love the way they listen, Tyler doesn't have to yell and scream at them, and make them scared of him, I think he is so patient even if sometimes he gets a little bit frustrated but it never gets out of hand. Going in the chute they're not scared or freaked just a BEAUTIFUL THING TO WITNESS A farmer who actually cares about his animals and treats them with gentle hands and compassion THAT IS WHY I'M HERE TO WATCH THIS AMAZING FARMER AT WORK! ( AND COWS ARE AWESOME!)
One thing about having a high incidence year, your herd will build some immunity to the bacteria. Those you brought home look quite happy to have a few days at the Farmer Tyler Ranch Hilton.😂😉 Stay safe!!🙏❤
You must be thanking the gods that you have that Arrowguip shute. All the cattle, no matter the size, exit smoothly with no hesitation. And the head locking device allows you to treat them safely both for you and them. I hope you forward your videos to the company. Truly, a quality set-up.
I’m sorry you have this pink eye outbreak this year, Tyler. It adds a great deal to your workload. Prayers that they heal up rapidly with your care and treatment program 🙏🏼 Are you going to do a little documentary on Little Boy’s Journey for birth to pastures with those damsels? I’d love to see that one! I love your channel! I watch every episode! 🐓🐖🐈🐂🐕
I know what you are talking about on those feed store corral panels but they sure come in handy in a pinch. Pinkeye hasn't hit here yet this year but I am getting my doctoring supplies ready. I'm sure it's on the way. Great job Tyler
I’ve been watching you for a while now and I must say I take my hat off to you doing it all on your own you’re doing a great job and I’m loving the videos kaz from uk
Get a dart gun, best investment we ever bought-We had pink eye go through ours as well 2 years ago, we now vaccinate 7 way with pink eye and another one that covers 4 varieties. We used Baytril, no spray or powder or patch.
I’ve said it more than once, and I’ll Say it again. Loose mineral my friend. Yes, pink eye is exacerbated by flies, but a lot Of It can be prevented with proper mineral Utilization. Blocks just DONT cut it. To each their own though. I had to learn the hard way too. Once I finally bought into the methodology, a lot of our problems were solved. Better breed back percentage as well As less pink eye issues. We also squirt some LA in the bad eye when they are that bad as well as giving a shot. Our vet recommended it. Shasta County California. Shasta Farm and equipment have a custom formulated loose mineral that is EXCELLENT and well worth the $ It’s called NorCal Plus. It has igr in it too. Cheers. 🍻
Pete Larson at "Just A Few Acres Farm" over in Upper NY uses tubs with loose mineral too. Has no issues with Pink Eye it seems with his smallish Dexter herd.
I agree loose mineral over block , especially when In a hanging tub they stick there head in. Small dust particles sticks to the moist facial areas the garlic seems to help more. Could also be my mineral / salt feeder is attached to my oiler 😀
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Appreciate your commentary. Blessings, praying for you, family and the animals. Looking forward to your next video. ☝🙏🙌💪
I love watching you Farmer Tyler ❤️ reminds me of my childhood growing up in the farming community of N.W. Montana! Miss those simpler days and the smell of good ole farms! Thanks for sharing Tyler!
Hi, farmer Tyler. It's good to see you taking care of the pink eye it sure looks like it's a problem this year, I know nothing about farming. I'm a wanna be farmer, so with that being said, good luck and God bless you and your family from across the pond in Great Britain.
It would be cool if you could make your old squeeze chute into a mobile unit, so if you needed it at the winter pasture or the steer pasture you could just take it with you. Removable axle and tongue? Just a thought.
Stupid is as stupid does. You sir, are not stupid. Such a terrible word. You're caring and compassionate. The risk was worth the reward. Maybe you didn't get em this time but maybe next time you will. Great to see you taking great care of your beautiful animals.
Any time you are trying to catch one animal it is much easier if a companion or two comes along- glad it all worked out! We had a very hot week here in NYS with temps in mid to high nineties and over 100 for brief periods. I cannot imagine a whole summer of that stuff and no rain!
Tyler, another great job,. your soft spoken voice is amazing when you speak to them. and also , what BEATIFUL country you have. it"s just purely breath taking. I always enjoy your videos. Be safe, and God Bless you, your family, and all your critters. See ya on the next one.
We liked the penicilin/dexamethasone mix injected into the outer layer of the eyeball that acts as a slow release, 1 application trearment. Ask your vet! It is what ours used and taught us to use. Rx meds require vet to sign of on it.
Tyler, I started watching your channel after suggested by Pete Larsen. I began watching 2years ago and I was slow to like what I was seeing. However, after watching for this long, I was really liking to how you present your episodes. So much so that now I have gone back to watch everything from your first video and now you are one of my favorite channels, along with Trinity dairy, Gierok farms, and of course Just a Few Acres. Thanks for creating your channel.
I enjoyed learning more about pink eye, and seeing the new chute assist you. Before you know it you’ll have two not so small helpers to lend a hand with this job.
Question, I remember working cattle on my granprants's farm, we had several great cattle dogs who used to cut cattle out by vocal command, what ever happened to training cattle dogs to cut cattle? Yes training can be a bear at times but for cases such as these a cattle dog is worth your weight in gold when working cattle by your self.
Humans can get "pink eye" too. I worked in a machine shop where coolant vapors come out of the turning center that I ran. The coolant was fowled and overdue for a change.
Pinkeye is ghastly. Those yearlings may not appreciate the process, but they'll certainly be happy at the result when it all clears up. Amazing that they can fully recover from having a livid red eye with an opaque center.
Tyler, have you considered taking your old crush to the steer pasture? Even if just for sorting, could it not make your life easier. We enjoy your work. Ken and Hannah Saskatchewan
I pray the rewards out weight the the problems you have with the pink eye, You make this old man tired watching, have a safe day, it worries me you get hurt , Who takes over if you are unable
We used to have bother with white eye over here in England and we used to squirt penicillin into the eye and gave them 10 cc of erythrymisin into the muscle and it cured them within about 4 days mate
Like you said, pink eye is a highly contagious bacterial infection. Can you do anything to up their immunity? Or could it be that there is some deficiency in their diet that maybe making less immune and more susceptible to catching it? (I'm worried that if it is a weakened immune system that this pink eye may be the least of your troubles this year!) I was right about the selenium deficiency. So, remember, if they are constantly fighting low grade infections, they can't be using all their energy on gaining muscle weight. So this is important to get to the bottom of... why are so many of the different groups catching it? 💖🌞🌵😷
I want u to build your other shoot into a moble one that u can bring to the summer pasture some and build a good moble gate system over their , for another good build series 🤪 I've seen Mobil shoots with fencing on the sides of it and they run the cattle through it in the fields .
Tyler: At 6:55 you made the statement “This is where a second person would be really nice to have”. You have two large dogs. Is there a reason you’ve never trained tham to help you move cattle? My Uncle had a small border collie he routinely used to help move dairy cows out of the far field towards the milking parlor holding pen. I know angus beef cattle aren’t dairy cows, but a well-trained pair of herding dogs might help you move cattle. Respectfully, W.S.
Good timing on that new chute. It's been getting a workout.
As always, love watching you care for your cattle.
Farmer Tyler Ranch makes my day love to watch.
I love the way they listen, Tyler doesn't have to yell and scream at them, and make them scared of him, I think he is so patient even if sometimes he gets a little bit frustrated but it never gets out of hand. Such a soft spoken, wonderful human being the way he talks about and to his animals, the care he shows them!!
Awesome Tyler!!
One thing about having a high incidence year, your herd will build some immunity to the bacteria. Those you brought home look quite happy to have a few days at the Farmer Tyler Ranch Hilton.😂😉 Stay safe!!🙏❤
New title for Tyler:
DOCTOR Farmer Tyler
Your gentle care of your critters is so beautiful ...
You must be thanking the gods that you have that Arrowguip shute. All the cattle, no matter the size, exit smoothly with no hesitation. And the head locking device allows you to treat them safely both for you and them. I hope you forward your videos to the company. Truly, a quality set-up.

Hey Matey...the Pirate Cattle of Farmer Tyler Ranch.
I love a little humor from time-to-time !! Thanks Matey !!
Great job FT! Your patience and care pays off once again. Praying the pink eye is history soon. God’s blessings to you and yours!❤❤
That new chute is so nice compared to the old one! It’s like replacing an old DeSoto with a new Cadillac.
I love your patience and willingness to try different things. You have great intuitions and know your animals well.
Great video and I hope that pinkeye is over soon.
Great Job Dr.Tyler and good luck with the pink eye!
Love the way you care for all animals.
So, tell us how much you love that head holder, Tyler. 😄
Thanks for sharing another long day at the ranch glade u got them all doctor up have a good weekend.
I’ve been watching you for a while now and I must say I take my hat off to you doing it all on your own you’re doing a great job and I’m loving the videos kaz from uk

Love watching your videos.
When you get pink eye in kindergarten kids, it seems to take off as badly as your cows got it. Very contagious .
The land of pirate cows.
Good job as always Tyler…it’s gotta be hard trying to work and catch those cows all alone.
Slow and steady wins the race; again.. sure hope the pink eye cycle leaves quickly. Great camera angles while in the chute area!!
I’ve said it more than once, and I’ll
Say it again. Loose mineral my friend. Yes, pink eye is exacerbated by flies, but a lot

My favorite farmers channel since Mike is out of 'our Wyoming life'.
It’s gratifying to see how you take such good care of your animals.
You’re a great farmer, Tyler. ♡♡♡
A farmer has more than enough to do without dealing with pink eye but you handled it very well
Always a pleasure to watch! Thanks
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Appreciate your commentary. Blessings, praying for you, family and the animals. Looking forward to your next video. ☝🙏🙌💪
Great sit-up for working your cows. You’re a hard working man!!
Great job, Tyler! 😳 crazy how bad it’s been this year with the pink eye. Confident you’ll get it under control. 😊🙌🏻
Thanks for sharing
"Country View Acres" recommended your channel. Glad he did. Great video!
The risk is worth the reward. Wonderfully phrased.
Thanks Tyler. You take great care of your animals.
Good thinking all around. Love that Arrowquip, wish I would have had it.
You are the hardest working Farmer !
I love watching you Farmer Tyler ❤️ reminds me of my childhood growing up in the farming community of N.W. Montana! Miss those simpler days and the smell of good ole farms! Thanks for sharing Tyler!
You're such a good cow poppa!
Hi, farmer Tyler. It's good to see you taking care of the pink eye it sure looks like it's a problem this year, I know nothing about farming. I'm a wanna be farmer, so with that being said, good luck and God bless you and your family from across the pond in Great Britain.
Its pretty incredible what you accomplish single handedly
That head clamp ? has been a great benefit for you and the cattle. Makes it so much easier to work them and it's safer for you and the animals.
You are quite the jack of all trades and problem solver.
It would be cool if you could make your old squeeze chute into a mobile unit, so if you needed it at the winter pasture or the steer pasture you could just take it with you. Removable axle and tongue? Just a thought.
Seems like it is always something! Unfortunately, this seems like it is the year for pink eye.
The sheet metal strips appear to be still holding up well on the trailor. I hope the flying poop dispersal has been remedied.
This is a fascinating episode! Watching the chute function from all angles and the eye patches!
GOOD AFTERNOON TYLER BE SAFE TO
Good update FTR!
Stupid is as stupid does. You sir, are not stupid. Such a terrible word. You're caring and compassionate. The risk was worth the reward. Maybe you didn't get em this time but maybe next time you will. Great to see you taking great care of your beautiful animals.
Great farming
I love seeing your videos. I'm watching from Virginia. I just don't know how you can do what you do by yourself.💕
I'm in Virginia too!
I think this was a great video.
Any time you are trying to catch one animal it is much easier if a companion or two comes along- glad it all worked out! We had a very hot week here in NYS with temps in mid to high nineties and over 100 for brief periods. I cannot imagine a whole summer of that stuff and no rain!
Your new gate really works great.
Tyler, another great job,. your soft spoken voice is amazing when you speak to them. and also , what BEATIFUL country you have. it"s just purely breath taking. I always enjoy your videos. Be safe, and God Bless you, your family, and all your critters. See ya on the next one.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO Tyler ❤😊
Always a great job taking care of your cattle! 👍😎
Great job there doctor Tyler I'll be in the healing mode soon

I feel so bad for them Tyler, but thank U for trying to take care of them. Hoping for the Best for All of them. Keep it Pushing!
You take good care of your cows. I have never watched how all this is done, so I do enjoy your show
Hi from Denmark. Love your videos. 🐂☺️
It has been a tough year regarding pink eye for you but you’re being proactive and that will pay off ! Good job!
Hay Tyler awesome job on loading the steers you make it look easy thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family

The chute makes a big difference for that procedure
The title was funny I loved it the video was awesome
Great doctor
I enjoy your show!
I would recommend having 2 connected catch pins before the trailer pin. That way u don't have to let them all the way back out
Tyler I must say you love your Cattle like your Children hope it gets better soon 6-25-2024❤
Good luck Tyler!

Yes training can be a bear at times but for cases such as these a cattle dog is worth your weight in gold when working cattle by your self.
Yes! I was going to suggest the same thing. A working dog would be a Huge help and time saver.
Humans can get "pink eye" too. I worked in a machine shop where coolant vapors come out of the turning center that I ran. The coolant was fowled and overdue for a change.
I used to get pink eye a lot when I was young. My siblings didn’t, however.
Great job Tyler!
You need another gate in your catch pen
Pinkeye is ghastly. Those yearlings may not appreciate the process, but they'll certainly be happy at the result when it all clears up. Amazing that they can fully recover from having a livid red eye with an opaque center.
Could you move your old shoot to that pasture and doctor them there?
Chute not shoot😊
Was thinking the same thing !
Time for a Bud cow sorting pen.
Is this when horses would be more effective than the 4 wheeler ? I have maybe watched too many westerns on TV . 💓🤠
Praying that you can stop the pink eye before it spreads through all the cattle. Good Luck Minerals help. 😊
Tyler, have you considered taking your old crush to the steer pasture? Even if just for sorting, could it not make your life easier.
We enjoy your work.

The fly's are passing the pink eye from one to another yearling. When there's a herd out break that how its transmitted herd wise.
Pirates of the cowibbean

Do the patches naturally fall off over time, or do you need to take them off after a period of time?
New sunglasses Tyler?
❤️great video
I can't believe it still fucing around with pink eye
I love your channel. I just wonder if the fly eartags would be good for your steers and heifers in the summer pasture.
I had it bad this year myself pink eye just my caves got it some got it
