Mahindra is killing its customers through the behaviour of their employees .. i went to see the new Scorpio and i wasn't treated well. I too am a doctor. Wanted to get information about the car but representative was very incompetent. This is the case of hazratganj showroom of Lucknow Narain Mahindra.
Firstly showroom people are not the direct employees of Mahindra. You should always rely on the direct communication from Mahindra and then take on showroom guyz if they still delay the deliveries.
Unofficial bookings are NEVER the way to go. Had you done official booking , Mahindra would assist on this. I agree that Mahindra's certain dealerships are.involved in bad practices. But we, as customers should also avoid unofficial booking. Here the GM stood by his work standards, and did what he can do from his end. BTW, you should know that as of 11th July today, Mahindra is recalling all the AWD models to rectify suspension issues.
Can you please explain what does it mean by unofficial and official booking? As of now, customers can book Mahindra cars in two different ways. Online, which mean booking through Mahindra official website through add to cart option and Offline, by which booking can be done directly from any Mahindra dealer. It is clear that booking options as stated above falls under Official booking. Now can you please be kind enough to tell people what exactly is unofficial booking.

My Promise date is from 5-March to 4-April'23 I booked in Jan'22. Neither customer care nor Dealer are having any clue of delivery date. I connected with other dealers and found that dealers are ready to give XUV-700 with 7-8% premium. Premium is in terms of mandetory accesories or expenses like PPF from 3M, extended warranty etc.
Blacking har jagah hai jo zyada paisai degaa cheez uski,licensce raaj mai bhi yei hotaa thaa,yahan gaadi nhi mil rai kisi doosrai dealer kai pass jaao ya koi aur company ki gaadi lae lo.
One recommendation: Please allow us to listen what manager is saying. Manager is not manufacturer. He is only managing delivery. If manufacturer informed delayed delivery then owner must write to manufacturer not dealer. Owner asked the information about other booking. Dealer is not legally liable to provide the information. He can or can't.
Actually, partiality is the main reason few customers are keeping on delayed for car deliveries. It is completely depend on manager/dealer whom to provide earlier and whom later. Manufacturer supplies cars to dealer according to the number of orders being placed from a particular dealer but Dealers are the one who decides whose name will be alloted to a particular slot. Accordingly, mails and updates will be initiated and complied only on the request and activity of the dealer. On papers it is said to be online in nature but end deals are done behind the scenes between dealership and manufacturing companies according to the terms and agreement.

Sab jhol hai inka ...i just purchased ertiga cng and ahowroom guys given me 36 weeek and after 36 weeeks i started complaining to maruti and complained to nch and maruti and.nch helped me a lot and i got vehicle. And taken free assecoeries worth 25000 .
Mahindra distributor tried to do same with me for Thar. I booked in 8th oct 2020, I was promised a delivery by the end of year, at the time of booking. When I recieved no information, I started to inquire in Jan 2021, then I recieved expected dilevery by jul2021 (they did not give me any copy,wrote a line in mail), but I booked within 6 days of start of booking, I took help from a Mahindra employee from other city and found by booking date is 27th november in official document instead of 8th october, after so many mails, tweet, they finally accepted and gave me my thar at the end of march.
It may be due to unavailability of the controller ic. All products in the automobile industry are being held. It is the duty of Mahindra to tell the customer the real reason.

Sir mein handicapped hoon, mehnat se emi complete hua hain, 30000rs ki battery new dale hain, Alfa mini mein Kisi aur e rickshaw ka parts nahi lagta, aur service center, ya spare parts wale nahi rakhte, sir hum Alfa mini walon ka 250000 ki gadi khadi hai, sir hum log bahut pareshan hai, hum kya karen
Even in Hero honda,rourkela odisha I faced same issue.. Companies don't streamline booking process to support Dealers who earn xtra by black marketing..these GMs hv cut money from that else they enjoy resort facility funded by dealer.. Everyone is happy at expense of genuine customer...

I have a Mahindra vehicle and never had any problem. Seems like these guys are doing this for coverage. Individual dealerships may do such things. The company must be vigilant on this.
