- Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate G5 Yian Garuga Solo. This was supposed to be EX but I forgot I haven't done this quest yet. As per usual in these MHGU endgame quests.....enjoy my pain.

Love the vids, and I'm glad that you're still doing the EX hunts in mhgu, aka most frustrating hunts ever.
This quest is so insanely fun with Boomerange Prowlers, the only downside is you bring a water epememt weapon for the Garugas and Silverwind isnt the most suseptible to wetness
Great to see you being more aggressive with your hunter arts. Remember at the start of the deviants you used maybe one sakura slash/crit juncture per hunt
The appearance of the second monster in these cases are based on damage, not time. So if you’re barreling through their HP like a cheap hooker does with their clients, that second monster will appear significantly faster.
Not sure about Garuga, but for all main line Narg variants, sonic bombs work when they go into the prowler stance, (that stance where it pauses for a moment, then swipes at you with those wing blades 2 -3 times) it’s basically a free knockdown, but it always gets up with a less than pleasant disposition.
Congrats on getting this far though, my guy! You’re crushing it!

Deadeye and Silverwind are one of the most frustrating combinations of monsters to fight at once, one is all in your face and the other constantly spamming projectiles.
The supply request trick only works when its a 2 monster quest.
Nah, it doesn't even work on 2 monster quests either, since the second monster shows up based on monster health. I learned this the hard way doing G5 Bloodbath alone. After fighting him so many times, I could barrel through his health pretty fast, like literally 7 minutes into the quest the second one would spawn, and on bad runs where I waste tons of time doing stupid stuff, sometimes 13 minutes into the quest, The second bloodbath hasn't even spawned yet. This is why I absolutely believe its health based.

Deadeye is my favorite monster in the series because of the cool design, the red eye, the strong attacks, the armor, and because I have a yian garuga named Deadeye in mhst without knowing about this one(I just wish the weapon had poison)
They could've added actual Deadeye to Stories 2, they just were lazy. First they remove the element change system and then they add only half the deviants...

Yeah no doubt Adept is better. Silverwind is basicly designed around it, and adept DB as example completly melts them.
Deatheyes Timings are a bit weird, but adept is pretty good whit him as well.
Have you tried to bring hunters drink for faster Hunter Art use?
I'm super late, but the star icon is from the supply drop. And I don't have the stuff to make a lot of the drinks so I just don't use them.

Fun fact: Silverwind is inmune to smoke bombs, so even if he didn't saw you there and the smoke was active he'll see you like the smoke wasn't there.
Congrats fellow hunter. This is honestly one of the worst g5 quest ever.
I think the worst one "that I can remember" was Grimclaw G5......hated it.
