Hypers do not get tired, they have infinite stamina.
in the case of the deviljho it also means he can't access the fatigued state in which he lowers your defense so it's a tradeoff
I was noticing I never got defense down that whole fight.

When it comes to the dancing Dragon breath attack where (Savage) Deviljho raises himself up to blast downwards, the easiest way to escape it is to simply keep running to one of his sides past his legs (not through them), preferably the right side if possible. If you've veered off to either side of him past his legs, you're in the clear.

Ah yes Hyper Jho, happy you finally got to fight him Uno. I still feel adept is better for Jho cause of his many AOE attacks and if you get good you can use the Pickle Dance to your advantage and run in and level up your Spirit gauge
Hyper Deviljho isn't so bad for me. He takes awhile to kill and any slipup is fatal, but he's still just normal Deviljho and in some regards more manageable since I don't have to worry about Defense Down or Meat since he doesn't get tired. Savage Deviljho is harder for me in MHGU because of the constant pin attacks at the end of each of his move combos.
You definitely want to make full Neset armour. It's great for creating cookie cutter builds off of decent Charms, has good Defence, and is easily upgraded. It just won't be able to fit in things like Sharpness skills alongside the usual Weakness Exploit and Crit Boost like Jho-Ceana can, which is why it's really good with the Rustrazor Longsword since weapons like it don't need Sharpness boosting skills.
Yeah, hes the best Hyper because of that.
No Meat and no defense Down realy changes up the Fight.
My charms are still trash lol. Event after grinding on the event quest for hours. I'll probably grind some more when I have time.
@@Uno_Hunter Even somewhat mediocre Charms can work well with the Neset set since it doubles the points for a Charm's skills and adds +2 to every Skill in the set. For example, your Tenderize +4 with 000 slots can have a Critical Charm 3 put in to instantly give you Weakness Exploit and Critical Boost just from the Charm alone since they'd be doubled from +4 to +8, and then have another +2 added.

His Stomp is his strongest Move. In Lv140 Apex, it was a guaranteed Oneshot.
32:30 if you break his Face a second Time you activate a Counter. A few Brutewyverns like Duramboros got that.
Kind of like the counter he does in World. Where if you hit him during his counter he falls over. Though I'm sure that doesn't happen in this game.
@@Uno_Hunter Spot on, its the same Animation, the Worldcounter might even be triggered by Hits to the Head, and the old Counter wont trigger a Knockdown.

deviljho's first attack probably missed because you were under it's chest, which is the most "safe" spot during that attack, or that's what i think because the rest of the body it's really hard to evade but the chest is my safest way, i recommend it if you have trouble dodging that specific attack. Try evading beneath it's chest.

Honestly I prefer savage than hyper jho, had way too many near death experiences with hyper jho

Only time I ever see him eat the tinged/drugged meats is when he's drooling and tired. However, he also just goes for any dead monster on the ground too. He does what he wants. XD
Hyper monsters never grow tired so they never will need eat anything.
Damage wise he is strongest indeed, but he is basically the same jho so, if you play valor LS you just need to be more patient than fighting regular jho.
I find savage deviljho is way more annoying cuz his speed and poking move set that can trap you in a blind spot if you're using close-range weapon.
You havent heard of Starving and Lv140 Apex yet?
same, I found soloing lvl 140 Apex jho much harder, doesn't help that his stomps at 140 send out tracking shockwaves, I was halfway across the screen and thought i was safe because he was just stomping....I was wrong lmfao, also he has a big ass rock throw, not big like rajangs, but man is it noticeably more big, I only saw this move a lot in my beginning fights since I was running more than fighting. Doesn't help that Apex jho has all of savage jhos moves as well, the insane speedboost in rage mode suckkksss, and getting pinned by the end of his tail from a pin also sucks. I farmed the hell out of 140 apex jho for that Shiny golden relic Damascus chest so apex jho has some nostalgia for me.
I only remember leveling Yian Garuga for some reason lol.

Hey Uno, Merry Christmas or happy holidays to you. Hope all is well with you. I will say that Jho in World/IB especially Savage Jho is still a terror to me over the one here in GenU but I also don’t actively fight the one in GenU often unless I need parts. Curious if he’s going to make his appearance in Sunbreak?
Thanks, and I kinda hope if we do get him.....he has some sort of mechanic where he starts as normal Deviljho but gains dragon energy from where where and changes to Savage Deviljho
It's so cool to see how much you've improved with valor LS Uno. You used to be a bit scared of doing any counters at first but now you're much more confident and the gameplay got elevated by it too 👀✨

Yeah, since he's Hypered the meats are practically useless lol
There's a certain fight in endgame G Rank that makes Valoring through it's attacks almost impossible unless you know the AoE's exact hitbox.
Not going to say what fight that is and I'd rather you just find out the hard way >:)

I fought him just recently for the first time. It took me like 4 trys to kill him.
I love countering deviljho with valor ls. He’s just predictable enough to get them consistently.

I do, just it and Savage are really tough with some......sus hit boxes lol. I think the only monster I actually hate is Plesioth.

Adept style to help defensively, otherwise try your best to hit his weak zones
@@Uno_Hunter i usually main alchemy with insect glaive. Is adept good for it? My main problem is getting timed out or nearly carted three times. Edit: are his weakpoints the head and chest?
@crystalbry4741 His weakpoints switch when he gets enraged and not enraged. I don't remember which is which though. You kinda gotta be aggressive because he has a lot of HP
@@Uno_Hunter oh k, but sometimes i get hit by deviljho when trying to hit his body and lose lots of health. Also when the hyper points switch does that mean that's the weakpoints? Edit:nvm
@@Uno_Hunterupdate: i have finally beaten hyper deviljho and surprisingly i got 3 hyper deviljho scales turns out that thunder weapons are pretty effective against him lol and using adept helped a lot. Edit: using Kaiser GX armor and crit chain helped as well.
