G5 Dreadking Rathalos is definitely the hardest quest i've on in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. I've soloed 7 other G5 quests but this one definitely is the hardest challenge I've faced.

One tip for Dreadking EX: whenever its on land, stay behind it and not under, so when he turns around his legs won't hit you or else that ""chip"" damage will chew through your health.
old gen chip damage wasnt joking. Rajang just hoping around and my health at like 20% already
That chip damage is worth it for many weapons, this statement is incorrect. And how much chip it does depends on your gear. If i play a GS I will eat that chip damage all day to get more crit draw attacks in. Same with switch axe, since I found that one to be a terrible matchup, you want to get as much damage in there as you can.
Also if you want to flash boltreaver you need to break the crest.

Honestly I just appreciate the pitch-perfect video length to really emphasize the sheer dread in that final section, it's like, exactly the right amount of time where you don't know if it's a minute of lament or a minute of glory
Here is a tip for multiple monster quests: There is one supply drop that happens when a second monster appears. That way you don’t have to try to time your smoke bombs. When you see the supply drop immediately throw a smoke bomb. Hope that will help with your future quests.
if you want to bring boltreaver down with a flashbomb you need to break the crest first.
It was so funny when you jumped to the hole and both boltreaver and dreadking were instantly tackling you

I’m getting serious flashbacks from that quest. Thank good had a team helping while I have smoke bombs on standby and flash bombs to craft. Made that quest bearable.

Stellar job fam. If you beat G5 then EX is going to be a cakewalk. Just imagine double damage on that dreadking form G5 and roughly + 7000 hp. Not to hard to take down as well since it can be turbo cheesed with GS and flashbombs after 1 wing break. Keep the grind going D :

Unpopular opinion but MHGU is better than Rise and World combined.
Boltreaver, probably one of the coolest monsters in the game, and probably a big pain in the astalos to kill
These G5 and EXs have been peak content, way more fun than watching a speedrun.
Way much more fun. Following Uno's journey is seeing a hunter improving with time and experience and you see the progress from him being clapped in LR and now winning dramatic hunts against EX monsters.
It has certainly been a long ride lol. I'm waiting for the new title update stuff to die down then I'll turn for Dreadking EX

I hated this quest so much, who thought putting the Jedi and Dreadking in the Ingle Isle was a good idea?

I remembered this... I almost cried when I did this quest... this was ultra difficult... I was tempted to try multiplayer because I thought I can never clear this quest, 😿😿😿 oh that great sword attack countered that in MHR sunbreak 😺

The smoke bomb Is a very helpful ítem in 2 monsters at once hunts.
44:58 still wonder how powder can be shot through these tubes (propelled by pressurized air, perhaps?)... and why is there two?
the description of the Flame and Conflagrant sacs says they contain flammable powder, not liquid.
you'd only need one tube if it's powder.
No idea, at first I thought it was the ground that just sticks out, but it comes directly from its mouth. Maybe on the inhale, it cools the powder down to form into a solid, then blast it with so much heat so fast that it eventually blows up

reaslistically, that couldn't happen. you need heat to begin with if you want to breathe fire; cooling off is one of the last things you want.
the inhale is to gather the right amount of oxygen (it's flammable, but it will only ignite at a certain quantity).
Of all monsters where getting astalos is the bane of my existence this is one the hardest monsters i think i hunted in a boss battle in this game more harder than Zinogre 🙄
everytime i meet boltreaver astalos i be like "yeah i can tank that" then i tank that attack and killed by next attack

actually this is not the first time they have this kind of brutality made by capcom .... they started this in mh last elder quest (last supper) that mh was only release in japan
