Despite another unnecessary 30-plus minute episode, this episode was banging!
The level of intensity in this episode is amazing! This show is truly on a different planet compared to previous shows.

Also, it's really great to see a different side of Nick Fury after 15 years in the MCU. Damn, you LOVE to see it.
With one more episode to go, I may not know how everything will finish up, but I am oh, so excited for the finale.
Again, fingers cross we get a Season 2.
By the way, the person that met Fury in the jet is Rick Mason, played by O-T Fagbenle, from the Black Widow movie.
I want gravik to have to go into hiding before eventually returning even more powered up.

The theme song at the end heavily reminded me of Quakes theme, I really hope they bring her into something other than AOS
i really want quake to show up but idk the whole show he’s been saying he needs to do it alone and if he calls a superhero to help everything he’s said the past 5 episodes would mean literally nothing. imo i’m hoping giah takes his place and it’s a super skrull 1 v1 and i’m hoping since any enhancing ability simply heightens what’s already there, gravik will essentially overdose on rage and self destruct

Fury needs to shave the beard to finally finish "suiting up", LOL! I gotta be honest, considering the way Fury talked about Sonya in episode 1 being the type of person who would (I paraphrase) burn the whole earth to get rid of the Skrulls, we have not really seen that type of mentality yet from Sonya. Yes, she's been violent, but also strategic and not just run in to battle guns blazing killing everyone who gets in her way. In fact, she's been pretty cordial toward Fury and willing to help. I would've thought she'd at least put up some type of resistance or be reluctant to side with Fury on this, at least at first.
PS: Second plot issue: They show Fury as a suspect to kill Hill in public. Are the Avengers do not watch TV?
there’s no avengers rn lol but i get what you’re saying however it literally wouldn’t matter.. what are they gonna do go and tell the government that’s infested with skrulls already? who’s to say they didn’t report that it’s obviously not nick and immediately got shut down. i’m jus saying there’s nothing anyone who knew the real nick could do because he has a Red Interpol he’s literally like the most wanted criminal. NO ONE would listen to ANYONE trying to explain nice is a good person.

the idea is he called maria at the end. and she is still alive. maybe she had one of these better camouflage mask and body or even was a robot decoy?
Coulson maybe? 😮 I think the simplest answer is he is calling G'iah and she may show up shape-shifted into Maria Hill to discredit the tv reports.

@@creaturion_cosplay Now that I think about it, I remember before the series started I anticipated Monica Rambeau making an appearance in this show (based on the ending of WandaVision + the trailer for the upcoming "The Marvels" movie), so this could be the perfect time. I don't know if Fury knows that Monica has powers now, so Fury "calling his super powered friends" would not count with Monica. Who knows...
@@djoscartjooo i like this idea… however based on the timeline monica would’ve already been on saber before he came down so fury would know she has abilities. cause remember wandavision is literally like 2 weeks after endgame.. and this show takes place nearly 2 1/2 years later. i would LOVE for monica to show up but i’m jus saying fury would know she has abilities.

Maybe Gravik will get the Harvest and get very supered up but it will be too much for him and he’ll burn out. Then, they’ll realize the most you can have is 4 powers maximum. Superskrull for Fantastic Four then

I love Olivia Colman, who is by far the most brilliant across all the episodes. Fury's reasoning for not calling the Avengers to help makes no sense at all. Aren't we on the brink of World War III? Sonya is coldly calculating, strikes out icily and is funny, I like how she exposes Skrulls. Let someone explain to me why Fury didn't just as easily take out the Rhody copy in the hospital. In the past episodes, I've accumulated a few logic and plot errors that spoil the fun for me. Unfortunately, this has been the case in many past series of the MCU. Maybe the writers should start thinking through the plot logically and consistently before filming, within the possibilities that the MCU offers. I now fear a hasty and rushed finale.
One more point: At the end, the Skrulls are spreading worldwide in the news that Fury shot Hill, which is running through all channels. Don't any of the Avengers watch TV and wonder what's going on?
does it matter? Having an avenger show up is just gonna incur the wrath of those people who whine about cameos and that they wanna see the street level “heroes” handle things without relying on them. Whether or not fury’s logic makes sense to you is irrelevant as it clearly makes sense to him, who feels responsible. These aren’t objective plot issues. The only thing most likely being “resolved” in the finale is Gravik, there’s high implication that this lingering plotline will go into the movies.
@@jaysax7381 Yes, it matters, because I watch a series from my perspective, not that of the protagonist. He has to embody his role believably for me to enjoy it.

Well i see a typical hastily rushed series finale like we've seen with most Marvel Disney+ shows coming up. This what happens when you put out only 6 episodes of a series that needed to be at least 8-10 episodes long. So Fury on the brink of WW3 still doesn't think he needs to call his friends in? Isn't he the one that put the Avengers together in the first place to fight the battles no one else could? This fight is personal so he's risking the world to fight it alone? This goes beyond him being selfish to just being a moron which Nick Fury is not!! Just straight up trash writing right there.
