This video was shot a year ago before Hero7 was released ... Hero7 Black HyperSmooth could be okay without a gimbal but gimbal is definitely a winner! INFLATABLE PADDLE BOARD: www.bodyglove.com

Can I just say how cool it is that you have it in sign language. I watch a lot of UA-cam videos lately, with the sound off as I’m trying to learn sign and lip reading.
A new born in the family was born deaf, so we’re all doing our bit to learn sign language. You’ve made me realise that I need to go back and caption and narrate all my videos, so that everyone can experience videos in the same way.
Thank you.
P.S The paddle board scooter mount is friggen awesome!
Great idea! I like your diy solutions
Mahalo!
I've stopped what I was doing because I've heard the notification bell :D
haha! high five!
Awesome suggestion!! I'm going to build for my kayak. Can tie to deck or tow behind

Wowww nice I will build one, thank you 😉
I'm just getting into using a GoPro I want to start making videos and so far a lot of your videos on GoPro and accessories have been very helpful love it! Keep making videos they are all great so far! Thanks!!!
Awesome thanks for the comment!
Excellent idea. Very cool and great video. I’ll be making one for the summer. Cheers.
I actually made almost the same contraption for my go pro a couple years back. Id anchor it in the middle of the slalom course. The shots look like ones you see in waterski magazines with pro photographers in the water. Totally wicked
millions of people have made this going back years and years, nothing new here, just boring video
thank you for the insult comment
Yes! so wicked!
Very cool😃 thanks Mic🏄😘
Awesome job brother love your vids .
This is awesome!
Fantastic!
Great idea!
Great idea! for me, i use my bodyboard.
Looks like something we built a long time ago... if I remember correctly, we were also going to make one with some holes drilled in it... flip it upside-down, and be able to have GoPro stationary just under the surface to do videos. We were going to set it up at Jacobs Well.
Yes I remember!
Bravo!
dude thats awsome
This is very creative !!
Thank you Remy!
This is pretty slick.👍
😄🙌🏼
Good idea 👍
That is such a neat idea! The footage came out great too. Good job
Thank you Curtis! Yeah! I'm glad video looks good! Thanks!
Cool!
An amazing idea. 👏🙏 Oh, sun and ocean ... ❤️ Greetings from a freezing 🇨🇦 💨❄️🤗
Thanks! Warm over here 😋 Stay warm there!
Hey Mick',. Instead of having two strings and pulling the frame straight, have one fishing line going to the corner of the frame, it will tow better and have a softer entry into the water. Just a bit more mucking around with the pool noodle floatation stuff... Boat nose style...😉
YES!!!! I was thinking about making version 2 diy floaty video 😂😂😂😂
What a great idea!
Good idea bud!
Nice idea, and great job. Thumbs up.
thanks for the tips mic ! love it
You're welcome Feirdaus! Good to know! I have more coming! 😄🤙🏼
Crafty!! Great idea, thanks!
👍🏼👍🏼
Very cool, thanks for sharing. That might be cool with hyperlapse video on a long paddle.
Yeah that would be cool!
Woow, great idea Mic, like a true cinematic video 😊
😄🙌🏼
Haha nice. I would have thought of that
This is such an awesome idea. Thanks for the tips. Love your videos. Aloha

Mahalo Jason!
This is an amazing idea!
Thanks!!
Awesome idea 👍😄🤙 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks and anytime!!
I approve this rig. Gotta try it one day!
😄🤙🏼
Great idea. How can one video from the front? Maybe a pole connecting to your invention?
i think its a good idea!
Cool 😎🤙
Genial
Thats awesome!
Можно сделать подобным образом куб из труб и закрепить камеру в центре. Это исключит риск намочить камеру или стабилизатор. Тогда это будет непотопляемая конструкция.
Muy buena ideaaaa , Saludos desde Argentina !!!
😄🙌🏼
Genius!
What a smart idea, nice one 👍
Thank you!
MicBergsma not at all, thanks for making the vids.
I need to find a secure way to mount my GoPro low down in front of my mountain bike looking up at the bike and I.
It’s for rough, rocky woody terrain so it’d need to be really solid. Just in case you’re looking for additional video ideas 😀🤘👍
Love DIY stuff.
It's also great to see you have a backlog of videos ..... I have several shot that are waiting to be edited. :0=
Yeah! Oh man you have no idea how many videos are waiting to be edited... I wish I can afford to hire someone to edit for me 😯
I need a Hero 7 black for wheelchair clamping! Hypersmooth is unreal. I wonder if it will improve even still 😛
Oh yeah for sure!
Wau..love you great idea..
Are you still using Handbrake? We film on a GoPro 7 @ 2.7 60fps and then edit in 1080 60fps, uploads to YT still look sketchy!! HELP!!
I don't use handbrake anymore... I just export with H.264 then upload to youtube.
Genius
So cool Mitch 😎🤙🤙
Thanks Rick!
Very good idea glad you thought of it because I wouldn't have!! Lol ...I'm stealing your idea!
Do it!😄🙌🏼🙌🏼
Dude, that's a great idea. Thanks for sharing. I would maybe raise the GoPro up a little higher. The ratios look a little off.
Anytime!! Yeah I agreed with you
Wooow you're awesome man!
😄🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
👍
❤
I am so happy because today is my birthday and I got the hero 7 black!!!
nice! happy birthday !
Thanks. I got text while I was smashing my broken iPhone. I posted it on my channel. Be sure to check it out
You know MicBergsma, my favorite video on your channel is the one where you get the GoPro 3 black because you are so happy.
🎉🎉
Pretty awesome idea ;)
Ah perfect 👌 but what about Hero 7 no need gimbal ? This film must be way before Hero 7
Thanks yes, I sold the floaty before we moved to Hawaii and then Hero7 with HyperSmooth feature came out too... and yes the video is from last summer that I forgot it was sitting quiet on other computer... I was like oh crap when I found it and want to share it right away! I know HyperSmooth will not making very smooth video like gimbal can do... but if want video to rock back and forth... hero7 with HyperSmooth can do that. I might make a new floaty and do it again but ocean is not that smooth like on lake in this video haha
Brother. I love your videos bro
Thanks Kyson! 😄🙌🏼🙌🏼
Don't mess with Swans - Everyone knows they'll break your arm! Great mount idea though!
Hahaha yeah... I learned something about that from geese from 2010... if you can find the video on my channel... I got raped! You're welcome! 😄🙏🏼
Did you try Hero 7 Black w/o gimbal? Great video with Hero 6 though.
Whoops, just read that the video was shot before Black 7 was released. Sorry, but maybe try it again and show us the side by side results s/b very interesting.
No worries! I sold the floaty before we moved to Hawaii... I will build a new floaty with few new ideas and will test with Hero7! Stay tuned!
A catamaran type setup would be better. The front pipe digs in like it is now.
TheRattleSnake3145 I agree, any speed waves, or current and the crossbars with floatation will bobble above/below the surface. Simply rotating the whole thing 90° so the flotation bars act like a cat’s pontoons would work much better. For even more stability, a longer overall shape would also help, with the camera mounted near the front. 👍
I was thinking about a triangle instead of a square, maybe not enough flotation though. Instead of rotating 90 degrees, only rotate 45 degrees so the front edge is pointed like a boat?
Yes!! I'm working on version 2!
Yes, pointed like a boat is very good idea... I'm working on version 2 video!
Oh yeah! I'm working on version 2 floaty :)
Cool idea. I wanted to do this long time ago pulling the camera behind my car. Now I have a drone. So, it doesn't matter. LOL
Thanks Patrick! 😂😂😂
ahah nice tip! :D
😄🤙🏼 Thanks!
Anybody knows what small gimbal is that?
this one - amzn.to/2SRIKk2
Wonder how that would work on my fishing kayak ???
It would look awesome!
👍👍🏿
😀👏👏👏👏👏
