Engine bay looks clean the inlet pipe makes it pop 👍 where did you get the fasteners for the radiator cover? Plastic ones crack with the heat

Props to you for installing while recoding with one hand. Not sure if you are open to getting a GoPro, but you could get a chest or head mount for the GoPro and have both hands and be able to record while installing
funny thing is i have a GoPro and all the attachments lol, I just always forget about them and get into the installs so fast aha
@@ElPinche97 I totally get it! I’m sure it also has to do with all the excitement of installing a new mod. I always say I’m going to take before and after pictures or videos of new mods and always just rip the box open and throw my new parts on. Keep up the awesome content tho🤘

Feel ur pain. It's tight down there. I have a custom turbo kit, manifold back, and it took some fabrication for sure. Cleaned up nice tho.
Yeahh it was a struggle but it was worth it! How much power are you making with the custom setup?
@@ElPinche97 it's about 325whp atm. Has more room. Just needs more fine tuning. The setup will be good for 600 once it's time for motor, more fuel, and prolly a computer.

yeah I tried to limit the talking but this install was pissing me off haha so I was trying to explain every little detail
I was able to get the tough side on with the four 12mm bolts but I wasn’t able to get one of the bolts on the one on the bottom below on the far corner below the long custom bolt that came with the kit. It hasn’t impacted it as I drove like that for almost like 7 months and no issues from it. No leaks, no lean or rich. Everything seems pretty good just clutch probably slips once in awhile only on full throttle in 4-5th gear.

@@ElPinche97 I thought it would cause an issue or leak but the car is running healthy after even sending my stats recently to twostep to inspect my data.
Heads up to anyone going for this install taking the headlight out makes it whole lot easier
Just a question, how exactly does it help? Don’t feel like removing the bumper but if it’s super helpful then maybe I will.
probably to reach the 4 bolts holding the inlet to the turbo , but taking off everything is a chingada sometimes aha

I have removed that part before to get to the turbo and wrap the tip in tape. The lower bolts are hard to see and hard to get back in without dropping them in the engine bay. Did you ever figure out what the cap is for?

Is there a dyno proven test on this set up. I have a PRL cobra but this looks awesome to add to my Si
PRL themselves have done many tests to show the dyno results. It’s the best intake for our cars. The inlet pipe maybe adds 1 hp but the sounds it produces are amazing
PRL uses high quality rubbers and components. If your hose clamps start slipping you are way over tightening. From the looks of the impression on the hose from the clamps…you over tightened the 💩 out of those!!!! Sheeeeeesh

Pro Tip* when tightening hose clamps…the excess band material after the tightening point starts to turn you are to tight.😎
Honestly i always over tighten some stuff slightly due to an error on my previous car but I’ve never had any issues on the inlet pipe or anything else that I’ve installed myself it’s all held up fine no leaks or anything

2 days ago I installed that Intel pipe and I got 2 errors in the ktuner someone knows why
Ok,I just follow your video and saw it setheral times but one question?there is a piece up the intercooler where you just plug a pipe(small rubber pipe you have to plug to the left) and this piece is drilled to let air pass I suppose....but I have exactly the same motor and bought the same pieces and when I want to connect this small pipe on the intercooler piece my plug is blocked and not open...!
Do you know the purpose of this little piece opened in your motor when you connect the small rubber pipe ?

@@ElPinche97 It's solved for the small rubber pipes because in Europe We only have one Evap and you got Two...and one more question:
Do you have CAI maf housing street or Race? Do you need a tune for both CAI+Inlet titane or just go like that becaus everything in my civic is mounted with Race maf on CAI and throttle is very poor at 4k RPM...
@@lowcoast1875 if you have the Race MAF a tune is required. Without it you’re running a bit lean which isn’t good for the car.

if it's the street version inlet and intake, no tune is required. if it's the race version then yes

same exact thing. Just make sure you order the inlet pipe in the Race version as well

Nah it’s not necessary but if you want to you can
I haven’t seen the temps jump at all. They actually have gone down a bit since more air is going inside.
Will the big bore inlet pipe work with the stock turbo?
Yess. Big bore means “Race” version of the inlet pipe which requires a “Race” PRL intake not the street version
I have an blow off valve adapter would it be ok if I switch it over ?
I recommend you get rid of that adapter and just put the OEM one by itself. But yes you can.
Can i run this with my moshimoto intake ?
Not too sure .
PRL says it’s mainly for their intake. You can try to put it on the mishimoto one but you might have to make a custom coupler

i have the street version and im fine. If you get the race version of the inlet pipe you need the race version of the intake.
Ya you get the matching inlet pipe to your intake I ran into this problem and it’s nowhere on the internet and then tune it with ktuner in the maf settings or protune whatsoever if you get the race maf

What does a turbo inlet pipe do for the car?
Increased airflow to turbo throughout the entire intake
better airflow, power wise maybe, maybe like 1-2 hp but that is more beneficial with a upgraded turbo, but the stock turbo does spool up better and better airflow overall, plus more turbo noises!!!

yes it works with any tune! But it also does not require a tune at all if its the Street version

@@ElPinche97 ay I think that’s solid. Shouldn’t put too much stress on it, while still making it slightly more quick than stock. I’m waiting for the right time to get a 10th or 11th Gen and I hope to get it up to about 250 and ride on that until the warranty is up, then maybe try to eclipse 300 hp

Should be nearly identical. 11th gens have way more space up front too making it easier to remove this pipe.

Nope! Every install I’ve done myself has never resulted in any Dash lights. Car has been great
