As a Black Man, I am so proud to see a Native American hero, who displays courage, integrity, and all the positive traits that any man from any race should, and can display. I’m also proud of the fact that it didn’t matter his race he had a job to do he had lives to save and he was going to be damn good at it. I miss the 80s cartoons when we promoted masculinity we promoted bravery we didn’t need a special class, on how to be diverse, we accepted and cherished are similarities and respected our differences.
That’s the late Ed Gilbert. Besides who he voiced on this series, he was best known as the voice of General Hawk from the original G. I. Joe cartoon as well as Blitzwing, Superion and Thrust from The Transformers.
I like how bravestarr just happened to be Native American, but no one made a big deal about it. these days they'd have to make a big deal about it, how supposedly ground-breaking it is, how white guys aren't allowed an opinion of the show because it's not for them, etc.

I think some people just can’t decide the difference between stereotyping and being outright offensive. The two are much more mutually exclusive than one might think.
Bravestarr is like this show's Superman. Strength of the Bear= Super Strength, Eyes of the Hawk= Super vision, Ears of the Wolf= Super hearing, Speed of the Pumba= Super speed.
Amazing Cartoon, old but gold. The only thing is that the strength of the bear was like the strength of a Crane, the speed of the puma was the speed of the light, the eyes of the hawk was the sight of in a telescope with xray or something like that lol
A Part of me wishes it were...in the I wish Bravestarr had a more darker storyline, much like the Thundercats. Mum-ra was probably the most feared 80s cartoon Villain of that decade. Then the Lunataks were very scary/creepy too.
Liquid Courage gives me all of these powers...or so I think. As a kid, we use to say, Eyes of a Mole, Strength of a chicken, Speed of a turtle, ears of a snake...lol...It was a cool cartoon! I wish, however, it would have been a little more darker, since the top main villain was rather mysterious.

The deadpan janitor Joel Robinson; along with his 2 robot buddies Tom Servo and Crow from 'Mystery Science Theater 3000 would've enjoyed taking a poke at Bravestarr. As a matter of fact; 💯 already the 'South Park' animation crew members, have already taken a poke at Bravestarr. Just imagine if 🦸♂️ Batman and Superman, ever even came up against Marshall Bravestarr. Batman and Superman's case; doesn't deal with animal exorcism, like the way Bravestarr's case does. Thats something 👏 about what's the difference 👀 🤔 😏 🤣 😳 😂 👀.
