Modified 2013 Moto Guzzi V7, raw video with great exhaust sound.
Come along for the ride.
Can't afford a V85TT try a smaller Moto Guzzi, still the same amazing old school character and an exhaust note to love. - Авто та транспорт
Whats your favorite Moto Guzzi ? Do you like the new V85 TT ?
Griso 1200 SE because I'm a glutton...
@@mrcombi I would like one as well.
I know it's their entry level bike but man the v7 handles effortlessly and is so smoothe. Wasnt very fast but quick enough for me. I fell in love first time I rode the new v7 iii and plan on buying it as soon as I get my other bike paid off. Awesome machine.
@@bikerbeliever8169 The more you ride it the more you will love it. They dont have a lot of top end power but loads of low end torque. Some good deals for older model V iii around at dealers. Hope you find what you want.
@@BikesDrones I test rode the V7iii and the V7ii and bought the used V7ii. I felt it went rather better because the torque comes in even lower. They both handle better than the VT85TT, and the V9. I've found on roads like this one that performance is limited by how well the bike rides on it. I was given a Tigger 800 for the day whilst the Guzzi was serviced and found that despite having nearly double the horses wasn't actually as quick because it just couldn't hold the road as well. As you demonstrated, you can change direction mid-bend on a Guzzi if you have to and it doesn't bat an eyelid.
thanks for sharing that lovely exhaust note.
Its such an emotive sound. Cheers Jason.
Those pipes sound 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sure do. Cheers.
Thanks for the ride great capture, oh and that sound
My pleasure, the sound of a Moto Guzzi is music to many people.
What a beautiful bike!! Awesome bit of twisties there!!
Cheers Joe Joe. Really happy with the MG. Love the sound of an aircooled V twin. These twisties are close and my go to for a short blast.
that was a dope ride dude. exactly what that bike needs
I agree, the right place for this little bike. I tend to keep it wound up to get the make the most of the modest Hp. Can still carry a bit of speed in the corners and I kept up with my mate on his V4 1200 till I missed a gear. Then it was hard to catch up. Cheers Nate Diggaroo.
Sounds pretty good and looks like a fun road too, Cheers 4 sharing sir.
Thanks Tex. My favorite local twisties. Bike sound amazing in real life.
Oh mate. That thing sounds so cool! I love it!
Great fun bit of road too!
Love the sound myself. This road is only 10km from my house so when I need some twisty action head up there and do a few laps. Use your stop and wait technique to get uninterupted runs :>) Feel your tiredness. Nothing like a ride to just be happy in the moment. Hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train and you can get a lot more advenutures in next year. Duyen is very ill so we have our hands full. This was just a short ride I squeezed in.
@@BikesDrones Oh no. Sorry to hear that Duyen is not well. :-(
Hope the kids are well. I'll be down in late Feb (headed to Tassie) and early March so hopefully we can catch up then.
Good to see you back - great bike. I follow a guy called hippo drones who has a V7 - he did a great track day on it. RSM8
Thanks mate, i watch HD, hes got two of my favorite bikes, the V7 and the 765, being a submariner he deserves them.
Wow! Very cool video! Great! Although it is a road with many curves, I enjoyed it very much! Thank you!
My pleasure. Moto Guzzis and twisties a match made in heaven.
Love the new wheels, the fastest colour too :-)
Wanted a Guzzi since I was a boy, the V7 looks great in Matt Black and chrome. Hope you get some good riding in before winter. Cheers DukeDyson.
That bike looks and sounds badass 👍😁
Its a beauty for sure. Love the V twin sound. Thanks Viper6.
Going all out with rear view and voice... Heeee's Back...
Hopefully we can ride together again soon.
That bike sounds the nuts!
Cheers man, The Guzzi makes fantastic mechanical music to my ears. Makes me smile everytime I start it and let it roar :>)
LOVE IT! Sounds great, reminds me of my black scram. Big open pipes and so fun to ring out in the canyons B-)
Two reason to buy a Moto Guzzi, 1 the way they sound, 2 the way they sound ;>)
@@BikesDrones do they run a 270 firing interval? Sounds so much like the newer Bonnie's when they're opened up.
@@ArizonaRE 90 deg V twin so a natural 270. Just like a heart beat to me. As a musician you would probably understand something about the harmonics as to why it is such an attractive sound. Cheers.
its sure been a while mate. Nice to see you back here.
Thanks man. Not so many adventures back in Australia but the roads and bikes are better. Riding season has just begun. Planning lots of road and dirt riding. Will try and make more interesting videos soon. Cheers AnnyArun :>)
Damn that sounds awesome,I’m a harley guy but I might need to take a moto guzzi for a test ride.
Its the best sounding bike I have ridden. If you like Harleys you will love Moto Guzzi's, old school cool with a great sound track:>)
Awesome sounds nice road too
Thankd Brett, hope all is well in WA.
Sounds incredible man 👌😍
Mechanical music ;>)
sure does, I just said the same thing.
Awesome bike and ride, I love the way you have the map and G forces on the screen. RSM8
Cheers mate. Being an X Triumph owner you know the charm of old school. I like those map and g force meter features too, decided not to put the speed on screen ;>) The ride is only 10km from my home and my "go to" for a quick twisty blast. Done many a lap.
Gembrook-Launching Place Road? Looks like it, if it is I love that road, just watch the friggin gravel when you come up to T junction at Warburton Hwy, already had a twitchy moment there coming back from a ride over the Reefton Spur back in December 2019!
Thanks Rob its a great run between Gembrook - Launching place. Always keep an eye out for the gravel. Cheers.
Hey B&D! Glad I found you again! ;>)
All our videos and channel was deleted by google and YT
Not sure what I'm going to do as yet with this new-old channel, I'm sure it will have something to do with the pack, 2 new pups included.
What a time to get TERMINATED!!
Oh well, possibly for the better...
Take care, RSMF
Thats too cruel mate. Hope you find some resolution soon. Wil be keeping an eye out. Best of luck.
@@BikesDrones Thanks buddy, Hope to post something soon!
More videos with this bike, please!
Cheers will make a new one soon.
@@BikesDrones Great news 😊
"Great exhaust sound".....you're right, I would guess one of the tipping factors for buying the bike. lol
There are two reasons to buy a Moto Guzzi. 1: The exhaust sound. 2: The exhaust sound ;>)
I sold the Buell because I was enjoying it to much. The Guzzi stirs the soul but at sensible speeds.
It definitely helps! I bought mine first and started asking questions later. Luckily, they're also one of the most reliable bikes ever built. Mine is coming up on 80,000 miles and I've had to do brakes and oil changes.
The sound is fantastic! I also started digging Moto Guzzi recently. These are not stock pipes, right?
They are just generic reverse cone mufflers. Need to tone them down a little. The sound and character of the Moto Guzzi's is very addictive. Get a test ride if you can.
@Moto Guzzi OK
@@BikesDrones personally, and this may be just me, I don't like overly loud pipes on longer rides, they can become rather wearying. The stock V7 pipes are by no means silent and produce a satisfying roar on demand, with little detriment to power. I've got another bike that barks like a cannon going off for that.
@@jeffslade1892 For long distance a noisy pipe would drive you mad. In the twisties I want to hear my V7 sing.
That bike sounds great, but it doesn't sound like a stock guzzi. What pipes do you have on it?
Generic shorty reverse cone slip on mufflers packed with fiberglass.
Love how the pipes sound could you tell my what style they are please?😎;-)
They are generic reverse cone shorty pipes packed with a little stainless steel wool. Easy to find.
@@BikesDrones okay thank you
What mufflers are you using? I recently bought two off brand slip ons from Amazon for my V7, and the exhaust note sounds very similar to yours in this video. What's cool about the design is that the cats are integrated into the stock mufflers, so you kill two birds with one stone when you replace them. Great riding btw.
These were just generic slip ons. Best sounding exhaust note I ever rode. With the exhaust note coming out each side for each cylinder gives it the stereo sound that can't be beat. The only downside is melting the base of your boot occasionally without the heat shields. Cheers brother.
@@BikesDrones I wouldn't be surprised if we bought the same ones then. What I love most about these pipes is that they give you that classic V-twin sound in the low rpms, but as you wring the bike out to redline you can hear that distinctive Guzzi high pitched howl beautifully superimposed over it. Cheers.
What camera and sound setup You use here?
GoPro 8 on the chin and GoPro 7 behind the helmet which I used the sound from. Had foam covers over both cameras. The GP7 was shielded from the wind being behind the helmet and I think that model just captured sound better than later versions.
Love the exhaust, sounds dead on my V9 bobber, I did some emgo slash cuts on mine, with a K&N air filter, and had it tuned. It's like twice as fast with a tune haha.
That great news, we could all use a little more hp.
If you enjoyed the video please leave a like or comment ❤
I’m 7 months late to the party, but didn’t see any mention of which exhaust this is in other comments. If you happen to see this, mind sharing?
They are generic reverse cone shorty pipes packed with a little stainless steel wool. Easy to find.
Bikes & Drones awesome, I appreciate the response
Who dis guy? It's been ages
It is the Moto Guzzi effect.
Ah cheap chinese mufflers. Best thing you can throw at a V7.
The stock cans are whisper quiet.
I did the exact same thing to mine.
Get some racetech emulators too. Those Kaifa forks can be made to do a pretty good job. Gets some of that vagueness out of the front end.
Thanks for the tip :>)
Toobadguzzi chise to black out the newerbikes. Stone ugly
There are a few different colour options. I think my matt black V7 is beautiful.
