- Making oil line fittings for a Provent 200 catch can so as to fit to a Nissan Patrol GU Y61 CRD. Making reducer fittings from the stock 25mm inlet/outlet to accept 1/2 inch oil line.
Patrol CRD stock oil breather line is 1/2 inch outlet at the rocker cover and 5/8 inch where it enters the air inlet pre-turbo, thus the need for a standard fitting.
Fitment location for the Provent in a Patrol GU CRD with ABS.
If you cannot makes your own and are after a set contact me at ausworkshopsupplies@gmail.com

So clean under there. Like a new car.
Thanks, I think. If you mean lack of hoses and connectors then yes. If you meant lack of dirt, The 4wd gets used, but yes I keep it clean. Mick
I'd machine the adaptors to take o-rings (rather than silicon or glue) and use the hex grub screw for fixing...... Just a thought ...
Thanks again Mick. Your info is a great help.
Nice detailed video. Many thanks
Thanks heaps. I had to mount mine near firewall and have around 800mm of hose for each fitting. Its the closest I could get it. so ya reckon gases will be filtered well still.
Very nice work sir
HiThanks for your great vids. I have a quick question. Is it important to plumb the drain pipe into the sump or can you just have the hose tapped off and drain when needed. Will the motor be damaged if you don't plumb it into the sump?ThanksMick
I bought the smaller provent 100 and I hope it'll be ok. My car has a little more than 100kw in power
Does anyone know if Mick still sell these reducers?
Hi Mick, I have a 2015 3.0L CRD y61 how do you think this item will go on my car.
As my car only has 5000km on the clock do i need one now or are they more for older worn out engines?
Have you noticed ant oil in the can since you have installed it and do you think its made a diffrence.
Please let me know when you get time to write back. Regards john
Mick,
Just purchased a GU8 Patrol and was wondering if you were still able to make a couple of these fitting?
Cheers Adrian

Don't suppose you sell the fittings and the bracket by chance...
Looks good but now it seems difficult to acesses the oil filter for services ?
bhutch731 yes and no. I go through the side flap, a lot easier on a GU. Even if you don’t have a catch can the side flap method is much better. Have a look at this. ua-cam.com/video/U5q-SKIW5Qs/v-deo.html. Regards Mick
I got a patrol 3.0, 2009 and is loosing power progressively, do you think this is a solution? My air filter have oil vapor and the truck have 135.000km
