That was so cool at 14:56 that you mimicked his triples perfectly just because you got caught up in the music and felt it. A very rare “if it wasn’t recorded, you wouldn’t believe it” moment. Great reaction!!!
I have know idea who you are but I absolutely adore you. Honestly anything TOOL does is mind blowing. If you get the chance to see them live don't miss it. "Push it" is 1 of my favs.
I have watched your reaction five different times now, and I have an ear to ear smile. Best reaction I've seen in a long time. I love how excited you get, and how caught up in the music. Thank you for making me smile like that 😊
I've watched this video easily a couple hundred times, and I've seen numerous reactions to it. Your reaction to it is by far the best and most entertaining. I've subscribed, and would love to see you react to more Tool!
@@GracieReacts Great! This is a much earlier live performance of Sober from 1993. It showcases their singer Maynard when he used to be in front on stage. ua-cam.com/video/u7lweNCCwS0/v-deo.html And I'm a big fan of the song Rosetta Stoned, I'd be curious to hear you're reaction on that. You may want to pull up the lyrics while watching it ua-cam.com/video/qnlhVVwBfew/v-deo.html
I tripped over the original video quite a while ago. I watched it several times. Then reaction videos started popping up, so I watched a LOT of them. And EVERYONE has a moment where they go "whaaa...???" Because Mr Carey is just totally amazing. Then I opened up this video and took one look at Gracie and I thought "this lady is going to get this - she will be on to it and dig it big time". And (nice change) I was right. The thing I really enjoyed was the number of "whaaa...???" moments she had. It reminded me of the first time I watched it. I watched it - oooh, about 3 or for times the first night and 3 or 4 times the next night... I cued it up on my wife's computer, dragged her over, sat her down, put her headphones on her head and pressed "play" - and she got it, but not as strongly as me and no way near as strongly as Ms Gracie. I enjoyed watching Ms Gracie's reaction almost as much as I enjoyed the first time I saw the video. And the next time. And the next time. And the next time...
What a joyous personality you have. ❤️ Yes, I think it'll be cool to see you react to this with your drummer friend. Danny Carey aka The Octopus. 😉 More Tool songs: The Grudge, Forty Six and 2, Lateralus (based on the Fibonacci sequence) Great reaction!
Loved your reaction! It's great watching someone experience TOOL for the first time! Danny Carey is an incredible drummer! It's crazy when he plays 3 different rhythms at the same time and they flow together perfectly. I couldn't play like that in my dreams haha 😆 you should react to the songs Pushit (Salival version) and The Grudge next! ♡
Omg Gracie I enjoyed watching you respond to his drum playing more then I even listened to the song. I’ve seen this video many time and have to say this is the best reaction I’ve seen yet.
Gracie, keep in mind the Octopus was 58 years old when this video was made 🤯 your enthusiasm is off the charts AWESOME 🤩 Keep reacting to TOOL 🙏 Try their older tracks like Forty Six and 2 or Jambi, Great reaction 🔥🔥🤘🤘
@@GracieReacts Here’s a recording I made of their last song of the night, Stinkfist. Danny is wearing a different jersey because he changed during the intermission. ua-cam.com/video/JCtEA9e_wp0/v-deo.html
Nate, I was in the nose bleeds to the high left of the stage. I thought going in I would be disappointed but the view was great and the speakers they hang give everyone the same sound. It was my third time having the privelge and I will be back for more. Take care, brother.
I'm so happy to see someone new to TooL get soooo much enjoyment from seeing a master at work. Each member is at the top of their profession and work together in perfect syncopation. Keep on riding the spiral towards infinite wisdom.
Haha! I'm glad you got to experience this. You can see the Boston Celtics basketball jersey he was wearing. He always tries to wear a basketball jersey from the city he is playing in. I had a great view. They took a break and he came back wearing a Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers jersey ( God rest his soul ) because the Lakers are his team. Well done btw. I loved your energy!
You should see him in the naked x-rated version. 5 different time signatures, 1 for each limb. :-p :-D But for real though. There is every other amazing drummer out there today and in the past... And then there is Danny Carey. No one but no one does what he does, or play at such a ridiculous degree of dificulty. Not to mention his work load. How many drum hits does he dish out every night on the stage? How does that compare to other drummers, I wonder? Dude... I'd be falling off the chair tired within the first two songs. :-D

😂😂 every other part I was just trying to
I enjoyed listening 😊
Omg I was thinking the same thing 😂 I’m a drummer who struggles to play Carey she got it accidentally 🤣
And her shriek of delight was in tune with the guitar too! Great reaction
Non drummers always appreciate the explosive parts more, while drummers and musicians know the poly parts are 🔥.
Thank you.. It was fun to see your reaction to this video. Subscribed.
In Danny Carey’s 23 and me DNA test, they found Neil Peart, Jon Bonham, 3 clocks, a metronome, and an octopus.
The joy that this brings you is infectious. You have a good ear.
Danny Carey= Eargasm

Danny Carey the best drummer on the planet!!!!
Great reaction video!
Tool has released five albums in 30 years in every single one of them is a masterpiece
It’s crazy when you think of it like that. Lol I jumped in at lateralus ;)
Tool sounds only like themselves, superb
@@Daniel-xu6kd
Same.
I don’t know about that. Lateralus felt like one run on song to me. The only album that I own and never listen too anymore.
That was the absolute best and most enjoyable reaction video I've ever seen.
You have just witnessed one of the best if not the very best drummer in the world right now! He gives me the same reaction! He’s like an octopus 🐙 👍

@@DylanSterling Just watched it. Fucking awesome man.
Near the end of 46&2 Danny has a drum solo, gets me everytime, check it out.
For me I love the drums in lateralus, during the two middle buildups (especially the one after “still be a human”)
If you do the song 46&2, please only do the lyric reactions, as the video to that song may distract you from the musical masterpiece.
Danny Carey is the greatest drummer in my opinion. There are some other drum cam videos of him that you need to see!
