Many thanks to you Mary and your friend for enlightening us and making our lives richer with all the wonderful exhibitions that you guys take us on. You guys are wonderful beings. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for all that you do.
Thanks for all the wonderful shows. It’s been incredibly inspirational and important for my own art practice to see the interesting work of others around the world. Happy holidays, wishing you much peace .
Beautiful works in each of these shows. Thank you for sharing. The Kiefer show at Gagosian was my favorite but there was nothing that didn't move me in some way, shape, or form. Happy New Year!
Another good run of galleries, thank you for posting. My favs were the final three and, curious, about Kiefer's works. He works on such a large scale, where does he sell his works? They must be too large for private collectors, does he sell them just to Museums? Thank you again for a great year at the galleries and happy holidays to you and yours. Look forward to more in the new year. Oh, and one final note, did George Condo not have a new show this year? Happy holidays to everyone out there and remember, Everything will be alright tomorrow(A lyric quote from the English band Faithless)
Thank you, Mary Lynn! Your channel is the best - and this was such a soothing, magical, inspiring video to find at week´s end. I was in New York i October with my sister, my first time in the US. We trawled mostly Chelsea and Upper East Side Galleries, much inspired by your channel. This takes me back
I appreciate Tau's exquisite use of discarded materials, time consuming making, most the texture overwhelmed the forms, I like the ones that had sewn forms without all that texture. Chloe does great teeth. Does Boyd use oil or acrylic? Love the bright colors. Organic. Great camera work as usual. Sterling's work is high energy. Again bright color. Anselm is a fav. The objects are effortlessly placed/anchored on the paintings...hard to do. Magic. Big enough? I love love love Angel's work! I want the heavy abstract paintings. the narrative is clear. Love his process. Rich color. TY. Yes. you are the BEST at showing new work in NYC. MC&HNY MLB.
You have introduced me to Gabriela Boyd, will definitely check out more. The Wise double portraits are an interesting idea. So now I need to own a Kiefer...(postcard maybe). The abstract paintings reflected in the floor, the red building through the window next to the painting - smashing video making. Thanks for the things I've seen on this channel during the year.
thank you Mary for sharing , I went to tribeca and had a show with one of my colleague filipino artist but not explore galleries ther because of my first trip to NYC... congratulations to your videos
I'm a painter in Australia, I don't get the opportunity to travel. Your videos have been so very helpful and valuable to me. Thanks so much. Happy holidays to you!
Fantastic channel. Have you ever been to the National Art Gallery in D.C.? There is also the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The nation’s capital has some of the best art galleries in the world. If you get a chance to make films about them, it’s definitely worth it.
I loved the Keifer show, he's definitely one of my top 10 contempo artists. Unfortunately the gold metallic paint doesn't register very well in the vids no does the overwhelming scale. He must employ an army of assistants to fabricate and churn out these huge pieces in such a prodigious fashion. Quite like the Otero abstract stuff. Will try to see that next week. Could not bear the Sterling Ruby show. Found it pretentious and boring af. Love those old floors at Grimm! Really has that old NY vibe.........Have you ever thought of doing your thing at Keifer's massive installation site in Germany? It's supposed to be several acres of work. There is also a really incredible painter upstairs at James Cohan 52 Walker. The Sunflower Turned Its Back by Yun-Fei Ji is a beautiful show of almost Van Gogh like impressionist interior and exterior landscapes. Extraordinary colorist!
Vraiment on en est la remplir des murs est imposer l idée d art , aujourd'hui cela m insupporte enfant je regardais tout mais aujourd'hui beaucoup beaucoup de grosses merdes sont présentées à nos yeux
I really appreciate the different angles of the paintings so we can see the textures, thank you so much
Yes so nice to see close ups!

Thank you :)

There are artists.... and then there is Anselm mf'kin Keifer. Just wow! Thank you
Love your voice
Major slay!
Anselm Kiefer did something exceptional this time 💯
Curious, are the Anselm paintings to be destroyed like the ones in Venice? Love this channel btw!
Uhm... if the insurance and S&H is too expensive , yeah.
Well, seeing the they are in the Gagosian, I doubt that. They would go to archive if not sold.
the audio could really benefit from correcting the sibilance (sharp S sound), theres an audio tool called a 'DeEsser'
How much to get into galleries please
Pushy toys on the wall at 42 Walker? IDK if I can sleep...
Always Fun to realise that what you say about the paintings has nothing to do with what I 🧐 think.
In democracy everything is art.
😍👍👍
Do you know JAMES Kalm
where are you?
Kiefer's Moses No. 100,000th time.... too literal...kind of meah?
Traducir al español.
인형머리작업 엄청좋네 ㅎ
You're a goddess!
Ružo je danas in. 🤭

Thanks for providing these opportunities. Great art pieces. I’m artist in west coast and very enjoying these pieces.
seriously, if money was not a factor would you want any of these art pieces hanging on your wall..?
Show more of the art works rather than empty spaces with some person "Viewing"
Gracias
It’s just hideous
