Love this video Rick Pierce. I ordered my 2022 Puma STS in September of 2021. I was looking for some recent videos and came across this one. My August 2021 factory tour was informative. But this video not only shows your transparency in the build process but also the level of detail in the manufacturing process. Bass Cat truly is a superior product. Your passion demonstrates your level of commitment to ensure Bass Cat remains a leader in this highly competitive industry. With the many challenges in today's market, I'm confident Bass Cat's focus on quality will remain a priority during the build process. This is the main reason Bass Cat has clearly separated itself from the competition. Supply chain shortages, material costs, and even labor shortages are all inevitable logistical hurdles in today's business. Your leadership skills on how you react and how well prepared you are will provide you with success in 2022. Good Luck and I'm glad I'm part of this family Rick U. Wisoncon
You absolutely can tell Rick Pierce takes the quality of this boat seriously. Very well done in all areas of construction and if I ever go to a glass boat, BCB will be a player.
Hands down the most impressive factory walk thru, fab & assembly of any bass boat company I've ever seen. And the very second I saw "C-channel" steel used for your trailers, I thought: "BINGO!!!". I've always said that a thicker guage of C-channel blows away "box/tube frame" for durability and service down the road. Box/tube frames RUST FROM THE INSIDE OUT. And there's no way to get to it to stop it. With C-channel, all the water runs right off, instead of being trapped, and all surfaces of the steel are exposed to easily sand/resurface & re-paint, should ya ever need to years later. GREAT JOB GUYS.
Wow what a great factory walk through. Very well covered many upgrades that are important. I especially liked the part when you mention your dad. I worked with my dad for many years, we made a great team as I'm sure you and your dad did. I wish you and your company future success Dom
I’ve spent hours and hours, and days on end it’s seems, researching bass boats. If I would’ve seen this video first I could’ve saved a bunch of hours. Doesn’t seem like there’s anything better out there. A Bass Cat will be my next boat.
These folks are the template for what a great company is. People who care and a product line they stand behind even if you bought your BassCat 2nd hand.
No kidding. This company is great. Their products are top notch, and they take care of their customers! I bought my boat second hand (2011 Puma) and they have been fantastic in regards to supporting me with parts and advice! I don't think I'll ever buy another brand based on my experience with BassCat Boats.
I owned BassCat serial number 000017. The boat is still running today, with new engine. Yes, I kept it covered when not fishing. The transom is still strong and hull has dings but has never leaked. I now own a 1989 Pantera and it still looks and runs great. I will not own any other brand. Plan to buy new for my retirement.
Ballistic Boats vacuum infuse both the hull and top cap as well as the console. Every piece of fiberglass in the boat is finished. Even inside the all the boxes. Pretty cool process to see
Enjoyed the video and plan to be a customer of yours one day. I'd also like to bring a seat post I just started working to you all once I have it all lined out.
Even though this video is 4 years old, it’s still very informative and impressive. I’ve been looking for a quality bass boat as they are not cheap. The other thing that really matters is the dealership. I have found that a top dealership in my area sells only BassCat which makes sense after watching this video. I have a Ranger Angler 1880 MS which I got for the kids, but since the kids are gone, I am seriously considering a switch to a BassCat bass boat. If anyone is still looking at these posts and can offer any words of wisdom, I’m open to suggestions. I would like at least a 20 footer.
Sherm's Marine Inc Bass Cat and Yar-Craft boats rigged with Mercury motors is the place to shop. nice selection of boats with expert service. Sherm's Marine Inc in Wabash Indiana Sherm sells all over the USA and Canada.
Coosa board is much much better transom material than what ur doing on here. Probably even easier to install also. Its the only transom material i trust now. Im just a joe and i do boat rebuilds on the side and found this material on i think it was, Ship to Shore or Ship Up or some youtube video. Just a suggestion for yall to look into. BTW, i went to college to design engineering... Lol
The locker designs are too overdone. They need to keep it simple. Why create a boat where someone loves it or hates it based on the rod locker design, just keep it simple. I don't need 13 cup holders on my boat, and get rid of the rop tie downs that stick out, and get the ones that pop out.
I used to love your boats but after watching you let your workers work with polyesters bare handed without any safety gear whatsoever I have now lost trust. I am amazed how a premium brand can let this happen... Shame on you.
Fiberglass gets heavy and to much makes for rough ride and heat will mess with the internal fiberglass thuse making your boat not so strong and makes stress crack..
@Too Wun oh contrary I was a stratos dealer and picked up our boats at the factory many times at old hickory ten. And seen them been made.( just in about 3 ops on colors). I live about 110 miles from Nashville. I've been in the boat business since 1983. I was 18 yrs.old When we went to Mercury school at the factory in Fondulac Wis. Fred was our the instructor. Anyone else out there have him ?
@Too Wun back then they were still called tracker. Even though they're made of fiberglass. Gotta old junk one at the shop can sends you a picture of the boat and inspection. plate

I listened carefully to everything you said and it's what I wanted to hear. My next bass boat is going to be one of your Bass Cats. Thanks for sharing
Next to an in-person plant tour this was awesome. I know several fishing club members in Wisconsin who have Bass Cats and now I know why. Thanks.

I think you all made my decision on me purchasing a BassCat!!! Your boats are amazing!!!

You can say that again

My dream boat..... When my kids are done with college this will be the company I tend to purchase from!!
Ballistic Boats vacuum infuse both the hull and top cap as well as the console. Every piece of fiberglass in the boat is finished. Even inside the all the boxes. Pretty cool process to see
Outstanding video. I will be a future bass cat owner. Thank you.
I'm excited!

Just one question, I use a bass boat for fishing for trout and redfish. That means SALT water...how do the trailers hold up to Salt water?
Very impressive !
The rich can pay so the get to play. For me the weekend man, my poor man boat will have to do.
dam...u got strong tramson that i see so far......best regard from borneo..
Круто! Шеф только очень серьёзный)
wish I could afford one

Excellent! 👍🏾
Cool video on how their built, but how bout a walk through?
one day I might own something like that
I thought Bass Cat was hand laid, but I saw the first laminate is chopper gunned in.
The truss being clamped and vacuumed to the boat makes for no play room in ruff water one good hit and snap ...what's that about
You've obviously never been in a basscat in rough water. No such thing as a hard hit unless you don't know how to drive it.
Nagyon komoly..
You make them well, wish you could make them affordable.
Bass Cat is the Lexus or Mercedes of Bass Boats. If affordability is the issue then you should check out Stratos. They make some cheap boats.
You get what you pay for
Look at the budget part of the lineup. I cannot do the premium lineup. I'm a wknd guy on smaller bodies of water. I'm saving for a p2. BCB is quality.
As far as the trailor goes, you cant beat, CAN NOT BEAT, an aluminium trailor with lifetime axels on them. Again, just a suggestion...
Now if i win the lottery i will buy one
Imm get the classic
I watched this with the hopes you would show exactly how you put the top and bottom together but you didn’t
Maybe Nitro boats should take notes.
I'll take a Erya in Black,quicksilver,red metallic,slap a 250 on her back,and a minn Kota 75lb on the front and call it a day.Oh and power polls!👍
+1EVILZ06 Give Sherm's Marine in Wabash Indiana a call he is one of the top dealers in the country. Let him know I sent you. 260-563-8051

How much fibreglass has this guy stuffed down the front of his trousers ???
at 26:28 he says dodo....
Fiberglass gets heavy and to much makes for rough ride and heat will mess with the internal fiberglass thuse making your boat not so strong and makes stress crack..
One chopper gun fits all bass cat. Lol cheapest way to make boats.
@Too Wun hey if that's so it's great. I'm impressed like to watch the build video sometime if they have one.
@Too Wun that's ashamed like to se the proof in the pudding. Not the chop. Lol 😆!!
@Too Wun I remember when stratos boats made trackers first fiberglass bass boats. Back in late 80s.
