Many people have reacted to the show on YT but they often blur the screen and cut out some of the audio for episode 4 since it is more difficult to watch because of the subject matter. There is technically no nudity but what they do show is effective enough to make it 18+. You can kind of assume what the context is when you listen to Poison and Loser, baby. The clues are there but yeah, I would just watch the show. All the other episodes are not as heavy contextually but it is just really important to Angel Dusts character to have this episode. Otherwise it is surprisingly a very heartwarming show despite the crude language and content. I mean, it is set in hell so, feels natural. If you are interested in the show, it is only 8 episodes and then a pilot that came out 4 years before the the show did. Although the pilot is good the show is huge improvement upon it. As fun as it would be to watch you react to more of the music, most of the songs are technically spoilers since in musicals the songs usually move the plot forward in some way. Do it ! Do it ! Do it ! :p I remember when "Poison" first came out without the visuals. People were enjoying the song until the last part. It's already painful enough when you don't know what's going on, but when you know about Angel's backstory, it's heartbreaking. If you want more context, "Addict" would be the best choice. It doesn't show much but you understand what's going on, and it came out years ago, an original fan song that was slightly modify and became official material. And it's a banger. They work as a pair but yeah, "Poison" isn't shying away from stuff (and yet, it's not that bad, at least it's animated, there is worse with real actors and being romanticized as a positive thing). and you're not supposed to feel comfortable watching it. That's the whole point of the song : like the lyrics says, the upbeat enjoyable part is just a facade, the real pain is hidden underneath, where you don't want to see it. As for "Loser baby", I think it's a powerful message about self-love and forgiving yourself. There are times when you're not well, when you're trapped in a very dark place. And it's very difficult to accept that you might not be alone in that shitty hole, that no one could understand what you're going through or people you don't want to bother because "it's not that important". That song made me feel seen and I think people like me need to hear it. You are not alone and there will always be people here to lend you a hand or listen to your complains. And yeah, while you're still alive, at some point, you'll reach the bottom. It can only go better from there, one way or another. The important thing is to keep fighting and forgive yourself if you fall. It's always harder to trip on broken legs than to stand up, so you're not guilty or pathetic for needing time and help to rise on your feet. On another subject, I recomand listening to "Stayed Gone" and "More than Anything". They are my favorite songs from the series for different reasons. "Stayed Gone" is just hilarious with the context and a great battle between the two singing characters, while "More than anything" is a very emotional one with positive outcome.

I always chasing rainbows - pilot first song 2. happy day in hell - ep1 first song 3- hell is forever - ep1 second song 4 - stayed gone - ep2 first song I think that if you want to react to the show then these should be safe
Hazbin Hotel is one of my favorite shows in recent years! A lot of channels get away with bluring effects and mirrored to avoid copyright and only Poison gets cut out or heavily skipped around.
Yes please watch the series. If you do put it up publicly you really only need to blur out/edit the scene around Poison. Everything else you should be fine on.
You're right; Husk is voiced by Keith David, who does voice the President from R&M. You may have also heard him as Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, and if you're old enough, as Goliath from Gargoyles.
I feel like with poison you're getting pulled in by the upbeat, cheeky energy of the song, but not paying enough attention to the lyrics, like: "What's the worst part of this hell? I can only blame myself." "I got so good at bein' untrue, I got so good at tellin' you what you wanna hear, I disassociate, disappear.." Watching the song with the complete visuals is.. an experience.
You need to watch the series, it's amazing! Easily one of my favorite series. Also if you wanna check any other songs before watching the series I'd say Happy Day in Hell and Stayed Gone are probably some of the best and I don't think you'd get spoiled with them.
Alot of people do the reactions with some kind of filter over the video or a heavy blur during the 18+ content! They also distort the song in some way so they dont get in trouble for copyright. PLEASE REACT TO THE WHOLE SHOW! You're such a fun person to watch!❤
Poison is sung by Angel Dust, played by Blake Roman and Loser, Baby is by Angel Dust and Husk, played by Keith David (yes, the principal from Rick and Morty, and Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog) I would highly recommend reacting to Hazbin Hotel, or at least watching it in your own time if you're worried about it being age restricted. there's tons of reaction channels that have the whole series on their youtube, so you'd probably be fine, but it does take place in Hell and has a lot of adult themes. there's one pilot on youtube around half an hour long and there's an 8 episode season on Amazon Prime that i think were also around half an hour each.
you can definitely react to the series on youtube as long as you block or blur some copyrighted or r rated stuff! i’d definitely love to see you watch it aswell !!
Most songs have spoilers since they’re directly tied to the plot. But “Happy Day in Hell” and “Hell is Forever” are both from the first episode and are good to get the premise of the show laid out. So while they’re technically spoilers, it’s early enough that it’s not as bad as songs like “You Didn’t Know” or “The Finale.” I do highly recommend the show, though. I’d definitely head over to Patreon to watch along. There are 8 20ish-minute episodes on Prime (I think they still have the first episode up on UA-cam, too) and there’s the original UA-cam pilot from a few years ago. I know a lot of people recommend watching that first, but if you’re concerned about time, it’s not the end of the world to skip it. I didn’t know the original pilot existed before I watched the whole season and I didn’t feel lost at all.
All the songs are very different and they are all great in their own way. You also have a song called Addict. It was made after the pilot but long before the series so the singers are different but it might give you an inside in Angels life and his struggles. (The character that is singing Poision). There is 1 pilot and then 8 episodes in season 1. :) It is a fun ride but there is some darker themes in the series. But with a Disney cartoon wibe. XD
I’d cry tears of joy and happiness if you decide to watch the show. It’s a really great experience, especially if someone like darker type of humor. Songs are pretty connected to the plot so if you plan on watching it, I’d recommend waiting with reactions.
Wow Luke you really analyzed Poison super well, haven't gotten to Loser Baby yet. All the songs are pretty great so I'd be excited to see you do any more of them
@@Jr837_ Cut content is a good idea for a lot of anime like Mushoku Tensei, Re:Zero, Slime and a bunch more. Hopefully more people start mentioning them cuz I have been mentioning it for a while but seems to be not enough.
Aww man, I got excited when you noticed there was a live performance of Poison. I thought you might watch it. The voice actor does such a good job. I really hope you react to the series. It's pretty short, just 8 episodes. There's also a Pilot on UA-cam. The whole show is kind of like musical theater with adult humor and plenty of feels. Highly recommend.
Amazon made a good call with posting this song ahead of release as a lyric video. It’s a bop, but the context completely elevates it. Would love to see you check out the series.
So funny story, Blake Roman is this singer of Poison and while IMDB claims he did child act on Blue Bloods once like 10 years ago and apparently did some thing in 2019 as well as while HH was being animated in 2023, according to Sam Haft (part of TheLivingTombstone), who co-wrote the music for the show, Hazbin Hotel was Blake's first Audition out of school where he went in with no credits on anything, Broadway, Tv, nothing
I would recommend that you take some time to watch the series at some point, if you listen to all the songs now it would take away the tension. Because if you've already watched all the music videos, it makes the further course of the series "predictable". I hope I expressed myself clearly, as my English isn't particularly good and I don't often write in the comments.
@@chiakinanami965 if he cuts out every double meaning jokes, the reaction will be 4 minutes per episode. No other channel that I know of has had problems of any kind regarding the "explicit" nature of the program. But it's his channel so his do whatever his wants to do. I'm looking forward to the reaction either way.
If you watch this show, I recommend watching the Pilot episode before episode one. The Pilot is on UA-cam and is canon to the show, offering some lore and character setup that is very worthwhile for going into the series. The first episode follows from it five days later.
This show (and its sister show Helluva Boss) have some of the most clever writing out there. This one is a massive flip the script show that takes something we all know "good vs evil" and makes it a "who is really the monster" kind of story, but as a way to prove that the purpose of the good vs evil story is right... but WE are failing to live up to what it really means. Can people who have screwed up so badly their entire lives that they are even screwing up in hell still be good people? Can they grow and learn to be better? How does forgiveness work? Do people deserve forgiveness? All extremely important messages, wrapped up in some extremely offensive humor and very difficult situations to deal with that really force you to look at things. It manages to be riotously funny, over the top, and DEEPLY emotional and endearing, showcasing some of the most wholesome and real relationships you're going to find.
Patreon must for this one. Wont go wrong watching Hazbin Hotel and helluva boss. Insanely good story with well crafted characters and songs that will never leave your brain.
You are indeed right, the voice actor for Husker is Keith David who also voiced the president in Rick and Morty, as well as the Voodoo guy in Disney's Princess and the Frog among many other roles. As for song with no spoilers that's not really a thing since the songs are part of the episodes, it's not just songs with no meaning, they all have impact on the story. It's musical numbers, the show is an animated musical after all.
Watch Happy Day in Hell, it's the first song in the show and gives a good feeling for the main character, her personality, and the general vibes of the show (Hell is Forever is the second song from that episode and goes well with it too, plus since they're both from the first episode it's nothing spoiler-y)
I would also love to see you react to the show knowing how emotionally vulnerable you can be especially with music because that context for all of them elevates them all even more! There are 9 episodes included the UA-cam Pilot that came out in 2019! You can probably cover it here but some things in this episode (episode 4) might need a little dodging and blurring the rest of it not so much other than the c word you can't say on UA-cam.
Just a note, the voice of husk, the cat with wings, is the voice of Dr Fasciliete in The Princess and the Frog. Okay now that said, WATCH THE SHOW, 9 episodes with the Trailer on YT. Worth it, the Episode where Poison shows up is emotionallly hard. Both songs are in the same episode.
So, when people say that there is extreme content in Hazbin, what they mean is that Hazbin is what would happen if a Disney animated musical was allowed to have an R rating.
I would literally sub to patreon to see you react to this show. It's amazing, really well written, the characters are all full and fleshed out and some of the context matter they deal with as really well dealt with.
"Is Poison, hahaha, um..." Yes. Yes, it is exactly what you think it is. I cannot wait to see your reaction to episode 4. It will emotionally break you, and then build you right back up again by the end. It's a hell of a roller coaster ride, pun fully intended.
Hazbin hotel has been really reacted too despite the age restrictions. Everyone i watch has watched this song and i have seen it and they are doing fine on views.
I'd greatly recomend Stayed Gone, as it has one of the most unique duets and a great vibe overall. Please keep the Hazbin songs coming, your reactions are all great
The show is very rated R over, but there are some wholesome contents that put you in awe, for all the bad stuff it shows the song, the characters, and the quality all make up for it. I recommend this show to you.
Yeah, Angel dust (the person singing Poison and the white spider person in loser baby) is real "cheeky" and mouthy and everything in between. And Husk the gambling cat is voiced by Keith David (the R&M president)
Its really great and the songs hit much harder with context. There is the pilot episode that is couple of years old but still peak animation. Then they did a song “addict” with a music video that is sort of tiny teaser of the whole situation in episode 4 and “poison”. And then you got 8 episodes of the show itself on prime. So its definitelly not that much to go through and its totally worth it.
I really shouldn't have watched this so late at night, my neighbors are probably mad at me for laughing at this hour, but worth it. You've got yourself a new subscriber and a new patron.
There are MANY youtubers who have reacted to all the episodes on youtube and the views are huge. I definitely recommend the show, there is 1 pilot episode on youtube and 8 on Prime, and they are about 22 minutes long each. ❤
The actual scene that goes with Poison is explicit, I would say, but really puts a lot of emotional context into that song. It's a pretty big feel. I definitely recommend giving the show a watch though, I'm sure you'll like it!
,,Hell is forever" is one of the greatest songs in this show!!! It also gives you what show is about, but It's in episode 1, so it's not big spoiler, more like an information. Would love it if you react to episode or this song
Poison has sooo much more impact in the context of this episode. Also, there are ways to watch the show on here, there are a lot of other channels wh owatched it here
Episode 0 on UA-cam was the pilot and is technically canonical to the show. As a prequel song to poison, there a song called Addict which would give you context but it's also are restricted. As a heads up there's scenes after the credits for addict.

4 - stayed gone - ep2 first song
I think that if you want to react to the show then these should be safe
inside of every demon is a rainbow - pilot song
how is not every pilot song considered without spoilers anyways
Hazbin Hotel is one of my favorite shows in recent years! A lot of channels get away with bluring effects and mirrored to avoid copyright and only Poison gets cut out or heavily skipped around.
You definitely should watch the whole show, it's awesome!
I feel like with poison you're getting pulled in by the upbeat, cheeky energy of the song, but not paying enough attention to the lyrics, like:
"What's the worst part of this hell? I can only blame myself."
"I got so good at bein' untrue, I got so good at tellin' you what you wanna hear, I disassociate, disappear.."
Watching the song with the complete visuals is.. an experience.
Poison doesn’t hit the same without the haunting visuals of what’s actually going on.
You are correct, Keith David, Husk’s voice, is the president in Rick and Morty
Facilier from The Princess and the Frog)
I would highly recommend reacting to Hazbin Hotel, or at least watching it in your own time if you're worried about it being age restricted. there's tons of reaction channels that have the whole series on their youtube, so you'd probably be fine, but it does take place in Hell and has a lot of adult themes. there's one pilot on youtube around half an hour long and there's an 8 episode season on Amazon Prime that i think were also around half an hour each.
you can definitely react to the series on youtube as long as you block or blur some copyrighted or r rated stuff! i’d definitely love to see you watch it aswell !!
Honestly I want him to react to "addict" before anything else. It's also on UA-cam
You should also check out "Addict" music video. It's a song that came out between the pilot ep and the Prime series. It's kinda similar to poison.
Most songs have spoilers since they’re directly tied to the plot. But “Happy Day in Hell” and “Hell is Forever” are both from the first episode and are good to get the premise of the show laid out. So while they’re technically spoilers, it’s early enough that it’s not as bad as songs like “You Didn’t Know” or “The Finale.”
I do highly recommend the show, though.
It is a fun ride but there is some darker themes in the series.
All the songs are pretty great so I'd be excited to see you do any more of them
I didn't even know you reacted to this but you gotta definitely watch the show!
Also still rooting for reactions to cut content for Overlord-
Overlord cut content is a GREAT idea!
@@Jr837_ Cut content is a good idea for a lot of anime like Mushoku Tensei, Re:Zero, Slime and a bunch more. Hopefully more people start mentioning them cuz I have been mentioning it for a while but seems to be not enough.
Never would’ve found you if it wasn’t for Hazbin! Can’t wait to see more content!
A hazbin hotel reaction would be great. The moree people show the show love the more seasons will be made 😂.
YESSS, BEST SONGS ARE HERE!
People were too much exagerated about age restriction. The show isn't too explicit to be blocked out.
Its better not to risk it tho
😳
@@chiakinanami965 if he cuts out every double meaning jokes, the reaction will be 4 minutes per episode. No other channel that I know of has had problems of any kind regarding the "explicit" nature of the program. But it's his channel so his do whatever his wants to do. I'm looking forward to the reaction either way.
If you watch this show, I recommend watching the Pilot episode before episode one. The Pilot is on UA-cam and is canon to the show, offering some lore and character setup that is very worthwhile for going into the series. The first episode follows from it five days later.
The fact you accurately gleamed that much info from the song and were spot on is actually amazing
Would love a full reaction to this show!
I think it could make a good patreon exclusive once he finishes Code Geass.
👀
The first two verses of Poison are a real banger, and then the third verse hits you like a sucker punch to the gut.
LOSER BABY.. Was the song I made my husband watch. After seeing it he gave in and watched it with me. And yes he is just as hooked as I am.😊
This song is such a perfect counterpart to the character's other major song (from be fore the recast): Addict
Heeeeey Bitch ❤ fancy seeing you here !!!
These songs get me every time, Loser Baby is in my top 3 songs for sure
"Is Poison, hahaha, um..."
Yes. Yes, it is exactly what you think it is.
I cannot wait to see your reaction to episode 4. It will emotionally break you, and then build you right back up again by the end. It's a hell of a roller coaster ride, pun fully intended.
Just purely based on reactions to these songs, you'd love Hazbin hotel
Hazbin hotel has been really reacted too despite the age restrictions. Everyone i watch has watched this song and i have seen it and they are doing fine on views.
I cant wait till he hears Hell is forever and and You Didnt Know, they're my two favorite songs.
I would love a hazbin hotel reaction I recommend watching the hazbin hotel pilot that is on UA-cam before episode 1
yes PLEASE watch the show/react to more songs
Fantastic reaction! Glad to see you're reacting to the show, the context adds so much weight to these songs.
I'd greatly recomend Stayed Gone, as it has one of the most unique duets and a great vibe overall. Please keep the Hazbin songs coming, your reactions are all great
8:53 because it is. He also was the voice of dr Facilier from Disneys The Princess and the Frog
Gotta watch hazbin
The show is very rated R over, but there are some wholesome contents that put you in awe, for all the bad stuff it shows the song, the characters, and the quality all make up for it. I recommend this show to you.
hazbin hotel, rated R. is a hell of a ride. full animated musical in hell. and the pilot is cannon, is on ytb. has an amazing cast.
"More Than Anything " & "Whatever It Takes " must see and hear.
The actual scene that goes with Poison is explicit, I would say, but really puts a lot of emotional context into that song. It's a pretty big feel. I definitely recommend giving the show a watch though, I'm sure you'll like it!
Yes please watch the show! The added context for the songs gives them so much depth and weight. Start with the pilot, it gives some more background
,,Hell is forever" is one of the greatest songs in this show!!!
Day 229 of requesting the Quintessential Quintuplets Op 1-3 and EDs until the video eventually (hopefully) comes out :)

i would love to watch this, i absolutely want this man, and btw none of the show actually shows any private bits, its mostly suggestive with episode 4 being the most graphic
I'm actually listening to these for the first time with you! I've always been interested in Hazbin Hotel, but I have only honestly seen clips from it.
I loved your deep analysis of Poison's lyrics and tone. I think you'll really enjoy the show. ^.^
I seriously adore your reactions man!! Thank you for reacting to this❤❤ I genuinely hope you'll react to the series! The episodes are about 40 mins long and there are 8 (or 9 of you count the pilot) in total. Def recommend watching it!
every songs are great, my personal recommendation would be to watched the show i think it's not censored on youtube but blur it. The if you want song try:
Happy day in hell (ep 1)
Hell is forever (ep 1)
Stayed gone (ep 2)
More than anything (ep 5)
you Didn't know (ep 6)
Out for love (ep 8)
Btw: you didn't know have some major spoilers for the show, the song is great but if you really plan on watching hazbin don't check this one
"What the hell is this freaking show?" Exactly. When you see the full Poison music video...
There are actually a lot of creators on youtube that reacted to this animated musical, but I am not a youtube creator so I am not sure what the process that they went through to get that video uploaded. But I will totally hop onto your patron to see your reaction to Hazbin hotel.
9 episode with the pilot who is canon and requiert to understand everything. 30 min for the pilot And 24 min for the others. The show is worth watching, but yes, episode 4 is brutal with the visual and context of poison.
Please react to the show it's awesome. Also react to the Addict music video.
