I'm a long-time fan, but tonight my bunny is sitting next to me, and this video is his first time hearing Ed and this song. Settled into listening mode and did his happy teeth-chattering during the chorus. I think we've found a performer we both like.
This is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. I saw the Throwing Copper tour back in the day and this one blew me away. Spectacular video thanks for sharing it.
Just Wow, I had the privilege of seeing them live in a small Vancouver club. It was close to a religious experience . Ed is amazing, the band was too. It is 2019 and to this day this song brings me to a place of... ?glory?.. not really sure. The lyrics and Ed's delivery are soul reaching.
Was looking up all the bands I used to like and came across this - damn, Ed's still got it. Saw Live, uh, live at the Gorge Ampitheatre in '95...and to this day, still the best show I've ever seen. I still remember Ed turning to look at the setting sun behind the stage, on an amazing 75-degree night, looked back at us in the audience and said, "is this f*cking paradise or what??" That's a good memory.
I love you Ed! Been listening to you and going to concerts since before mainstream. One of the best sounding bands in concert EVER! And I have seen hundreds of bands from Aerosmith to Van Halen. Recordings and videos CANNOT do justice, or explain the chills that run up and down your spine when you hear this band live!
