If the bottles are good enough we have them professionally cleaned to make them look like the day they were made. The coke out of the ground with tons of microscopic scratches and wiping with hands does no further harm to the glass. Glass from the 1800s was just made different than this junk today
Saw somewhere that piles is what they called hemorrhoids back then. To put it in words for people like me and Billy somebody’s great great great grandpa was riding the donut 🤣
Sweet finds ❤, pretty cool the permission supplies breakfast, do your permission people know about you from UA-cam watching? Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing more awesome videos brother man.
He was one of the best home owners ever! Not many permissions like that but we normally don’t tell local people about the channel. Too many crack heads out to make a quick buck. I already have to compete with one even tho it’s not even close😂 thanks man! I really appreciate ya and will for sure keep the videos coming
Hey guys, I restore historical sites and have access to several properties ranging from the 1790's to mid 1800's. Have found several open pontil brokes under the floor boards but no privys. Need help to find them if your interested.

Absolutely always a good day with pontil stuff. It’s such a rush!
Sweet job Corey and Billy. You had some unique finds in that pit. What was embossed on the bulbous sauce bottle Corey? Keep the videos coming.
Thanks Debra! It was a diamond packing co. Out of jersey. Will definitely keep them coming!
That pile salve is killer!
I think that small wide mouth Philly bottle was a crystal pepsin?

Great finds that pit had some nice early stuff. Loved the teal ribbed bottle, it doesn't matter if it had a small hole the bottle was gorgeous
Thanks Janel! It books around a grand mint so definitely a keeper. Woulda been a nice one to have whole tho
jus curious, why dont bottle diggers use a 5 gal bucket of water to clean em, instead of wiping and scratchin em, when ya can get to water??

With all of the opiate consumption I’m sure hemorrhoids were very common in those days😂

Hey Corey I’m Chris’s son
That fluted embossed sauce is hella! even with the lil hole in the back. Easy repair ✌👽
Right! Woulda been a hammer without the hole
Totally a breast pump👍
1860s breast pump from what I’ve gathered
