I HATE when the Olympic channel does not post the raw content of these races (line-up, full race, live commentary & race times)
No one wants a pre recorded voice over or music on top of these races. So annoying 😡😤
Ah imagine how proud the Belgian’s parents must be
They also have a daughter who runs the 400m as well
they must be devastated that their 3 sons was only 0.03s from being the first 3 brothers to win a medal as a team in 2016...
I feel so bad for Belgium and Borlee brothers. Always make it to final, but never get a medal by like 4th or 5th place. You guys have my respect.
Kevin Borlee is among the best 4x4 anchor in the world, end of discussion. Put a guy like Kev on team USA and he carries them home every time. There's not a time I can remember where the younger Borlee got passed down the home stretch.
@@carsongambaro Belgium finna got that bronze 2019 World Championships. Well done!
@@jaeyeonkim4734 that’s what I’m sayin! Every announcer was so focused on Zambrano from Columbia but little did they realize Belgium had the more composed and experienced anchor
4th place again today...
It was really heartbreaking in Rio.
If kevin started accelerating 1s earlier the brothers would have become the first three brothers who win an olympic medal as a team...
@Jaeyeon Kim I think they are very consistent as the borlees have been running together day in day out. thats why they can have efficient baton passing. but apart from kev, other borlees/non borlees’ finishing time have been unspectacular though consistent.
thats why they are the most consistent team but always finish as4-5th but nothing more.
Even when Kev had an magnificent leg in Rio, they still fell agonising short. (he may have won a bronze if he dived on the finishing line though)
It was even more painful that Jonathan was injured and missed their maiden major tournament medal in Worlds 2019..
hey olympic youtube channel, post the full video of each event. we can understand what's going on for ourselves, we don't need to be told what's happening by some random woman. also, post the entire men's 1500. one of the best strategic olympic races of all time, and I can't find it anywhere.
Where's the full video clip??
Gerard Greetz search it up
the bahamas was talking smack after London. they couldn't repeat against a healthy US team
smooth nubian The Bahamas' team was weak this time around. They had a 19 year old on the 3rd legg
smooth nubian The Bahamas' team was weak this time around. They had a 19 year old on the 3rd leg and the guys who ran the 2nd leg and anchor in 2012 were both injured
+J-mack 5000 Who's fault is that? Compared to the US your team is always weak. BAH got lucky and beat an injured US team in London 2012. Yes Lashawn Merritt was out with an injury, otherwise BAH would have been competing for a silver. So now BAH has young runners and had some injuries. Look at it this way, at least you have an excuse. Because if you were at full strength you still would have lost.
J-mack 5000 remember, USA was without injured Merrit and Warriner, and one of the runners fractured his leg in the qualifying round. So, the US was down 3 of its top runners, and 2 of the top 5 in the world at the time.
The Bahamas has like 300,000 people compared with America's 323,000,000 people.
Botswana actually has some good 400/800 runners
US team and Jamaica team has always been a good team in Olympia competition .
More like dominate
i love american team,,,,
I was hoping to see how they pass the batons and was shocked to see them at the finis line already! Why bother uploading a relay to just show the start and the finish?
1:28 The narrator tried to be nice about the Brazilian team, but they sucked. Finished last, and 3 seconds slower than 7th place. Did they actually qualify fornthe final, or were they just awarded a slot because they were thenhost nation?
Brazil did do terrible to others, but I am also looking at Poland. Poland was almost a full second behind Cuba, but atleast Poland was more likely to actually scrape it. In my opinion, they probably got through luckily by maybe someone having a false start or something. I don't know.
They earned it. There was a semi-final before.
Please post the full event. No one wants to see short clips.
Go USA!
only 2 teams not under 3:00 and 1 of them painfully close to it, what a fast final
I think the last Botswana runner panicked when he saw he was going to be overtaken and he tried too hard to stay in the lead but when Jamaica overtook him he gave up.
Dang kinda feel bad for Belguim. Sooooo close to getting bronze...
GREAT RUN JAMAICA
congratulations USA Track & Field women's team 17 Metals in Riol what an accomplishment
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪❤ WE THE BEST!
USC ran 2:59.00, they would've placed 5th in the olympics. how crazy is that???
USA proud
Show the whole race.
I wish the Red Tornadoes (Belgium's team) could have gotten a medal. Missed it by .03 seconds.
If kevin dived a little bit earlier... what a run from him..
When the world's fastest in this event isn't there
Love me some black excellence up on those podiums.
where can we get the full episode
Once again, USA DOMINATION! Will anyone ever beat us more than once in this event? Ha ha ha. Keep bangin' fellas.
are fkin dump? if they just but usain blot in ther usa will be destroyed
u rely on bolt only????????? idiot
Anas Ahmed haha you wish
Trinidad lol
Jeff bolt can't handle a 400 meter, he would tire himself out. I did cross country for the past 2 years before I go into my sprinting. Last year I was put in the 4x400, although it was difficult I had an advantage and sprinted my hardest at the end.
Where is the full video?
The USA will have a very strong team for the 2020 Olympics. They not playing around with these Relays.
I was looking for it to
Great job team Bahamas 🇧🇸🇧🇸
they lost
smooth nubian 😭😭😭💀💀
First! I love RIOO
poor belgium :/
wow that belgium 4th was flying
The Americans have been the world power for so long it is interesting to see a bit of competition. Congrats to 2nd and 3rd.
I feel bad for Belgium. Borlee brothers always finish 5th or 4th in the 4x400 m :(
another 4th today...
sigh
they would have won a medal as a 3-brother team if kevin started bursting a bit earlier
Millwood falcon 🤝🏾💙
Javon Francis and that silver for Jamaica....yes yes. Calabar!!
USA won 3 of 4 relays, could have been silver with the missing one, still the best sprinting nation, Jamaica second
If you take into acccount the amount of athletes competing for each country in track. I'd say Jamaica is #1
Nope, I only count the sprints 400m or less, USA wins, no field events for Jamaica
l. a
USA will never again beat Jamaica in 100m, 200m events. Simply because speed is 90% genetics and Jamaica as an island country has a lot of that gene and is constantly intersecting it because of the closed position.
Milan Dolovac maybe
did no one notice that guy that fell
Why couldn't they have the opening and closing ceremonies here? A lot more room
Wow the three brothers :o talk about genetics :o and man that team is hella good looking
Where Is the video where the Announcers call it?
Congrats Botswana
I Love Brasil
Cuba finally runs under 3:00!!!!!
Wow
USA USA
USA 🇺🇸
Here at the 4X400m relay, USA rules again, Jamaica joins in 2nd, Bahamas 3rd...
Jamaica can't touch this...
Tony Winston ready again?
Tony Winston facts! 😂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪😏❤
Lol they own everyone in the other relay
Jamaica will touch this, just give them time.
@@rosaworksrosaworks9410 how much time? lol
Brazil was allowed to compete at the expense of the mighty Kenyans on the technicality of being the hosts. They never rose to the occasion. They flopped a big time. How i wish my great was in the finals!
Philemon kipkoech Kandie like Kenya had a shot at the podium, lol.
The Bahamian team was not as strong as in 2012 this time around. Oh well, at least we still got a medal
J-mack 5000 even if they were, they still wouldn't have won. In 2012, only reason BHA won gold was because USA was missing Warriner and Merritt due to injury, and one of the runners fractured his leg in the heats. So in the final, USA was down 3 of it's best runners.
Ytrdgh,Guiose,Ronee,& USA
melanine at its finnest
Dang
The belgiums did dive,but late.
Angel Olivera no, he fell after crossing the line.
@@ranhill62 if he dived he could have won.. what a run from him. nearly overtook 2 guys from a few body positions behind.
Proud of my black people, all winning
They just HATE it when our teams win !! ---------------------WolfSky9
why the stadium was so empty ?
The tickets were too expensive. Besides, I'm not sure if it was the case for that day, but people were having some problems getting into the stadium.
I also read the organizers had 300,000 free tickets during the last week of the Games somehow those tickets were distributed right
It's only a matter of time before Jamaica win 400 meters relay
American men rule on the track ! ----------------No Russia .----------WolfSky9
Why would you cut out portions of a race? Terrible video
What was the point of Brazil in this race seriously you guys disqualify GB just to put Brazil in this race so they can embarrass themselves in there home stadium, really was upset about the disqualification as GB 🇬🇧 had a big chance of a medal in Rio well I hope Tokyo will be good and they get a medal!!
Martyn Rooney would've had an epic performance for GB no doubt.
The USA may one the most relay gold which is to be commended, but the did not win a single gold medal in the sprints which is starting to be the new normal.
chris johnson men or women? Sprints are anything 400 meter and under, hurdles included, USA sprinters won more medals and points than any nation, Jamaica included
Lockon Stratos I said gold medalist in the sprints if you were referring to my comment. And including the relay the US only picked up a mere 4 gold medals. The only US sprinter with an individual gold medal from Rio is Brianna Rollins.
chris johnson Delilah Mohammed and Kerron Clement as well. 3 Golds in individual, 3 including Relay. 6 Overall for sprinting, would have been 7 with a healthy non injured Felix
allfiner Your stupidity is your virtue 😂😂
Wrong again, hurdles are sprints, always wanting usa to lose, USA wins, come visit
Belgium should've dived
hello lol ikr
where's the full fckn race???
I still don’t understand how it’s fair to start everyone off at different distances??? Shouldn’t everyone start at the same start line so that it’s... fair?
They have staggered starts to make it fair. Lane 1 is 400 meters around but each lane out gets longer and longer so they have staggered starts so that everyone is actually running 400 meters. If they all started at the same point, wither everyone outside of lane 1 would be runner more than 400 meters, or they would have to all converge to lane 1 at the start of the race.
USC got fifth
JAMAICA VODOO~ WILL LOST FOREVER!!! FROM NOW!!!!
