2:03 My great granddad was actually quite big on how he did his laundry. He would always tell me “son, make sure you never, ever let the blacks and the whites mix. We gotta make sure we keep the coloured and the whites separated”. I never understood his obsession with laundry procedures, nor did I understand why he was so meticulous about it. Strange that he never actually did any laundry himself though.
Sometimes clothes will loss color in the washer so if you have whites in with them they absorb the color that bled out. Also most will put bleach in their whites to keep them white and bright but also for sanitation of the towels. I relate because I am funny about my laundry too. My mom taught me when I was 8 yesrs old and told me if I wanted clean clothes I had to do them. So since then I have to wash my own clothes if anyone else washes them they don't feel right to me. So for 30+ years I won't let anyone wash my clothes. I'm sure it's in my head but I can't help it and I like washing clothes, I just don't like folding them 😂

my mom always said to separate (or segragate, idr) the yellows too, so you have 3 cycles, whites (first as per her preferences), yellows (She always says its smart or something), and the blacks (she says that long sleaves are better but we only own a short sleeve, according to her). Its funny though she seems to have a high alcohol tolerance cuz she told me all that while drinking her favorite cider.

Back in my junior year in American highschool I had attempted suicided from some emotional trauma. When I got back from my 51-50 I was basically given a free pass for the rest of my school career. Since one of the LGBT students had committed suicided just a few months prior to my own attempt. This caused my school (which was very vain and didn't want to look bad) To decide it would be best not to pressure me or they thought I would again try something. So pretty much didn't do jack shit for the entire rest of my Junior/Senior year and they allowed to me to pass on a pass fail system.
Thought to leave this wholesome story as inspiration to follow your dreams and goals
