Nice! Glad it was valuable. Make sure to check out the other videos on my channel about RE videography and also check out the community I started if you want to connect with others starting and doing video too! Thanks for watching
Beauty house. Watched your 'vertical/portrait' video. Did you just shoot this listing in landscape and crop to vertical after? Or are you having to shoot both formats on every listing nowadays? Good work, keep it up.
Thanks so much! If the primary video is a regular landscape shot format, then I shoot it that way and just crop to vertical, which is what I did for this one. If the agent just wants a vertical edit, then I'll shoot in vertically. Thanks for watching!
Just finished shooting my first real high end real estate video with both the agent and seller introducing the home and speaking on all the custom features... Thinking of the editing to come is a bit daunting lol
The first edit can definitely be intimidating for sure. What I’ve learned is keeping things simple is usually the best route. Sometimes even writing down the order of what you’ll put together in editing might be easier than trying to actually do it while editing. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the idea! I briefly cover how I’ve been grading lately in this video, towards the end of the video if you want to check it out! ua-cam.com/video/kNKxU-MCGTA/v-deo.html
Gr8 video. You highlighted the insights instead of going for unnecessary details. How did you replicate the same camera movement for the twilight transition of the back view of the house?
Thanks so much! For it to work best, you have to film the same shot in the day and again at night. Before shooting the twilight one, I look at the previous daytime one on my camera and film it a few times to get it as close as possible. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Andrei for this amazing video! I have started with real estate videography just this year and learned so much from you and Taylor. 🙏 Keep it up! 🔥
Glad to hear it! I still export in a high quality 4K file and offer to upload it to our businesses YT channel for easy sharing along with the file itself. Thanks for watching!

Can i ask what kind of PC setup you are using? Mine is a custom build from about 6 years ago and it struggles to run premiere pro. Love the monitor btw
Thanks! Me too, it’s an older lg ultra wide monitor that still works great! I’m using a Mac mini m2 pro, runs everything so well. I’ve always used Mac so not sure what to suggest for a pc build. Here’s how it has performed over the last year! ua-cam.com/video/99T_z9P7NOI/v-deo.htmlsi=107Zr6lmCaTrxrZ6
Thanks so much! I think in general a lot of RE videos nowadays are pretty fast. I still love classic slow and steady shots like you see in cinema. Thanks for watching!
This was a special type of shoot where it was more of a video production so I was there for half the day till sunset. On a normal luxury photo/video package, 2.5-3.5 hrs typically to do everything. Thanks for watching!
I know, they’re tough to make! I haven’t made a video on one because I don’t think I’m very good at them. The smoothest way to make them is in Final Cut from what I’ve seen.
Thanks! I have it and have used it a few times, just hard to switch since I’m so used to premiere. Yeah, I’d love to try out an R5C for a luxury shoot! Thanks for watching!
bonjour Andrei, very good job and the image quality is so nice. Maybe you mentioned it but which lens do you use ? and what aperture ? do yiu denoise also ? thank you . Eric
@AndreiRestrepo i did it... i was having trouble including drone shots in the video, like you show the house inside and also from drone. can you make a video of how to capture house that are very small.. like less space to move the cameras about
I use the conversion LUTS by Phantom LUTS! Seriously haven't come across any other LUTS as good as these. Their camera color specific and aimed to replicate ARRI color science. Better colors and highlight roll off than the standard canon ones IMO. But yeah I use their CLOG3 neutral for almost all of my work and they have some stylized ones too. Here's my link to them if you're interested! bit.ly/3I9PX7U
Thanks so much! I can probably do it in one sitting and take me like 1-2 hrs. Other people might be faster but I'm just more detailed so takes me a bit longer. Thanks for watching!
I shoot in 24, 30, and 60 fps, but always export the video at 24 fps and edit in a 24 fps timeline! I also convert all my 30 & 60 fps footage to 24 fps so it's all correct while editing!
No, I do the same! I use a CPL inside to cut out reflections too. Yes, it darkens the image by 1 stop or so, but if there's plenty of light in the home, it's fine. I just take it off in extra dark spaces to not bump up my ISO high. Thanks for watching!
I use MF for the wide shots since everything is pretty much in focus, and then AF for detail shots that I shoot on my 35 or 50mm lens at a wider aperture like 1.8-2.8. Thanks for watching!
Welcome! This was a custom project in the $1.5-2K range since we did all the photography and all the video work and it was a super custom luxury home. Thanks for watching!
For the second speed ramp, it might have been good to do it a tad slower, and then the next few cuts you do on the beat, I think it would have looked cooler to have one of them offbeat by half a beat, so its still in time with the music, but not exactly where predicted, adds a layer of unpredictability, so the audience is kept more engaged.
@@AndreiRestrepo ok sir I would check all of them am George from Nigeria I just a full time job with a real estate company and I would be creating their contents too So I would need your help
Great video!! You and @taylorbrownphotovideo have been a huge help to me as I add real estate videography to my day job as a Realtor. I still really struggle with getting the color right tho... Using a Sony A7iii and FCPX.
Thanks so much! Appreciate it. I haven't personally used that camera but I think it can shoot slog3 and is only 8 bit correct? Just making sure you nail it in camera best you can, like proper white balance can make a huge difference, and also toning down that yellow/tungsten color from the walls helps as well. Thanks for watching!
No problem! I shoot in 60fps but edit in a 24fps timeline. So I can slow down the footage all the way to 40% and it'll be 24fps and look smooth. You can also work in a 30fps timeline, so you could slow down the footage by 50% and that would work as well too! Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Hey, what's up Andrei how are you doing? , I'm new to the Dallas Texas area from Michigan. I'm interested in joining your community, are you in the Dallas area? I'm just getting my drone company started. And I'm interested in networking. Thank you looking for to your response
Doing good, thanks! I'm just outside the Houston area, so a bit away from Dallas! That's awesome, I think you'd find a lot of value from the community!
feel free to tell me to F off lol ( but im a huge fane of your page) do you happen to have videos doing these projects from the cap cut program? I have Premier but it is quite Intimidating. Or maybe you have classes? Regardless thanks for the content as I am trying to leave my day job to do real estate more full time.
Haha would never tell you that! Unfortunately I do not, I only work in Premiere! Totally get it though, it was pretty intimidating when I first started using it. Now using it for years, I'm finally on a good flow with it and couldn't;t imagine learning another program again! I do have a community I started for RE shooters and recommend you check it out for sure. Even though I don't have exact content on what you mentioned, I do have exclusive videos on other topics that would be helpful for you wanting to do this full time! Thanks for watching
This is dope. Primarily a photographer dabbing in video more and getting request for real estate highlight videos. This is def the approach I’d want to take when shooting/editing . Great inspiration! And I love the sigma art 50!
This is a $2K photo & video lifestyle listing package, it's the top package we offer for homes like these! Helps to get the price point higher by bundling things together like the photography needs. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful edit and sound! For the day to night transition to line up correctly, maybe next time, stack both clips and change the opacity to reveal the bottom track and then shift the clip to line up with the track above. Once lined up, change the opacity back to 100% and adjust the clips for the transition.
Yeah, I think that's something new going into 2024. Used to be 30 days, but haven't been told anything new about it. Still would be worth trying it out, been using ES for years. Thanks for watching!

How do you export Real estate videos please? 24 frames or 60? To avoid that jitter on the gimbal shots
I shoot in 24, 30, and 60 fps, but always export the video at 24 fps and edit in a 24 fps timeline! I also convert all my 30 & 60 fps footage to 24 fps so it's all correct while editing!

60fps! I don't shoot in 120, too much in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
