    You have really beautiful hair! Thanks for your wash day tips, much appreciated. Your natural hair journey is so inspiring... sooo I'm just starting my hair journey... my hair grows fast but I wasn't retaining much length b coz I wasn't taking care of it. For example, since I cut off my locs last April I would wear wigs 99.9% of the time and wouldn't wash my hair for several weeks and during this time I was hardly moisturizing my hair.
    Now I'm using the LCO method consistently for the past few weeks but washing my hair every week (like most natural youtubers recommend) is a challenge, so washing my hair every 2 weeks is way more realistic for me. My question is, to clarify what you said... if I'm using oils and butters several times a week, including oiling my scalp with rosemary/castor oil blend 3 times a week, can I still get away with washing my hair every 2 weeks or do I have to cleanse my scalp once a week to avoid build up??? 🤔

      @JupiterWisdom1111 Рік тому

      @@154angel154 Lol that's good to know. Are you using oils/butters or treating the scalp with hair growth oils, as I'm wondering about build up? I wasn't using them regularly before so wasn't worried about build up on the scalp.

      Then try another hairstyle instead,braids probably. Sometimes twists does not stretch the hair enough and still encourages some amount of tangling especially when it's done on soaking wet hair. So try another hairstyle on her hair, one that will stretch her strands much better. Does your daughter have coarse strands?

      @@favourpeterkowho8421I would encourage braiding her hair without extensions. Especially since she is getting knots (can be indicative of dryness). Use a moisturewith liquid, use a cream leave-in and follow-upbwith a HEAVY butter or grease! Really work it in BEFORE you proceed to braiding/twisting her hair. You do NOT have to give up on twisting her hair, you just have to go heavier with product application to ensure her hair stays moisturized and in place.

      @@favourpeterkowho8421 do braids only with her hair no extensions for at least 3months. You will definitely see massive results.
