Fuck yeah boys! I've been waiting forever to find someone doing this! Last year I swapped C10 suspension into a 73 C20 and gave it a 5-7 drop with a mini notch just to see if it could be done, and it worked.

Thank you! Not sure exactly what height for the rear to achieve a standard ride height. My guess would be either to run OEM two-wheel drive leaf springs, hangers, and shackles or to do an axle flip with the four-wheel drive parts. But that's just a guess
What’s the difference between a C 10 frame and the k5 frame i’m assuming the back half of the frame is different otherwise you would’ve switched bodies so what’s different

Maybe for the same reason why I am going to 2wd swap my 72 k5 4x4. I wanted a 2wd but could not A. Afford a factory 2wd and B. Could not find a 2wd. Not to mention that my is never going to see mud again. Also, there is a significant difference in the ride of a 2wd vs 4wd. Mine honestly rides pretty crappy.

Im not as familiar with the obs trucks but i believe the front crossmembers are welded in those.

thats correct, back half is very different as well as the the k5 having a much shorter wheel base.
