Obama lied. My family’s small business of 10 employees and owned by my grandpa. My grandpa could not pay for a healthcare benefit and was punished for it. his small business was fined. Obamas terminology for small business is wrong. He thinks a small business is only a startup with two friends. Anything bigger than that was fined.

The presidential debates for this election were really sad. It sucked watching Joe Biden talk knowing that he was the better option of the two candidates. Trump obviously argued with 70 IQ rhetoric but Biden really isn't someone who I'd want to represent my country either. And honestly, even though trump is an obvious charlatan, his rhetoric at least matched Biden's optically.

    • @rud69420
      @rud69420 3 роки тому +13

@FiniteAutomaton Oh yeah for sure. I just find it sad that we don't have younger, more passionate, more intellectual candidates running for president. It's hard because a lot of republican talking points are either anti-intellectual or biased towards those already in a position of privilege. I can only hope that the political overton window continues to shift left over time and we have more candidates like bernie (or obama, even) who exude passion through their talking points.

During 2008, I remember the price for gas was more than $5 and as a result my father had to sell his truck. Bush's approval ratings were plummeting towards the end of his term and people were fed up with troops being deployed in the middle east. Osama Bin Laden was still on the loose and we were experiencing the Great Recession. I was only in middle school at the time and I was uncertain about the fate of my country. It is 2015 and I filled up my car with $2 per gallon of gasoline. Troops are being withdrawn from the Middle East and the economy seems to be recovering to the point that I have confidence in investing in stocks. Osama Bin Laden had been killed and employment is widely available. I am in college now and the fact that I am still able to eat everyday, drive a car, afford college through grants and scholarships and be ensured that there is work for me, shows that President Obama and his administration did something right. I hope this prosperity continues to flourish and anyone who says that President Obama did not do anything great for this country is flat out wrong. It has been a wild 8 years and I hope the next President will continue this inertia.

He's way ahead of George W Bush during this time when he had only 34% approval. President Obama is a good President in terms of popular opinion.

Then when you turn the paper over and see all the questions that you've revised for, and you know full well that you're going to get the maximum Mark for that paper...that's the look on Obama's face at 0:18.

Obama did as well with the economy that any president could have hoped to do.
Im not even an american and don't have a party affiliation, but i can see that obama was the correct choice.
I see on some crazy videos (probably from people just like you), that "obama is the worst president in history" .... give me a break, that statement is just absurd.
I suspect you're either a die hard republican or a closet racist.
Now, why dont you read over TomCook1993's message to you, and explain WHY all of those things would destroy the US.
Calling him an idiot is getting the conversations nowhere.

      1) Obama’s policies since he became President, 11,472,000 Americans have left the work force.
      2) "Fewer Americans are at work today than in April 2000, even though the population since then has grown by 31 million.” - Mortimer Zuckerman
      3) The number of Americans on welfare has hit record highs.
      4) A record 20% of Americans were on food stamps in 2013.
      5) The almost 11 million Americans getting disability payments is now approaching the population of Cuba
      6) Our nation lost its AAA credit rating because Obama is spending so much money.
      7) Not only was Cash for Clunkers a wasteful government program that “cost $1.4 million for every job it created and did little to reduce carbon emissions,” destroying the “clunkers” helped dramatically jack up the cost of used cars for the rest of the country.
      8) After BP had a huge oil spill in the Gulf, Obama not only bungled the clean-up process, he slowed oil production from other companies that had done nothing wrong which led to higher oil prices.
      9) Obama has helped drive up the cost of gas by blocking the Keystone Pipeline.
      10) When he was running for office in 2008, Obama claimed that, “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” He lied.
      11) Through 2013, the Obama Administration had imposed new regulations on businesses that cost 46 billion dollars a year.
      12) Taxpayers lost 25 billion dollars on Obama’s bailout of General Motors and Chrysler. Chrysler isn’t even an American company any more. It’s now owned by an Italian company, Fiat.

His Gayness Baron von Cockenknocken absolutely. I think that that is a bipartisan statement at its core. Because common sense, nonradical conservatives and liberals (hello) both want that! Conservatives would say that the government in general needs to tone itself down, while liberals would say that government can be a very useful tool in helping individuals achieve their own pursuit of happiness. We just need a less-intrusive government, period. No more spying on citizens or trying to enforce purely-partisan agendas.
