Just did a set of Oem. The most under talked about tip in this video was the spreading snap ring pliers! First set I’ve ever done in the oven and took 5 min to get them free. Nice video
Ugh, wish me luck I ordered the TRS rubber sealant for my ram and I’m afraid I have opened a set of headlights before but I burned my first set so I’m scared cause of those memories but I’m gonna try to be patient. Worse fear is condensation will still be there but I hope it does fix it
Hey. I'm just wondering when you paint inside or outside lights do you use any heat-resistant paint or it's just standard paint? Xenon or HID's can be quite hot.
I really like your videos, bro and now I'm more inspired to open my headlights! I'm just wondering about one thing .. So I wouldn't have a problem if the headlights were glued with permaseal and I glued them with butyl, right?
That's the same as my truck... guess who's armed with just enough knowledge and brain damage to try this themself?! GUESS WHO FINNA BUY AT LEAST ONE NEW HOUSING?!?!
Dope! If I can give any advice it’s to make sure you heat at 220°F for 20 minutes, then make sure as it cools, you heat it back up and instead of struggling to make progress once it’s cooled off.
😂 n ppl wonder why other builders n myself ask so much for the Mopar builds 😜, I have like 3 sets of them trucks lights here and 4 sets of the chargers ready to be built😉
What’s in that solution that you dropped the “chrome” parts in?
Did you remove bulbs and projector housing? Or did you just leave the cover on it and bake it with all that inside?
seriiously... just skipped over that part. i get removing the bulbs but the wiring and housing im unsure of.

What do I use to strip the chrome ?
Hell yes! Didn't expect the collab with @Boostedmotorsports !!!
What temperature is the oven at ?
I made my first set of custom headlight a few weeks ago, and they were from my 2011 ram 1500. It was a pain to open them. But doable
What’d you do to them?
when will u do a full tutorial 0-100% custom headlights?
What temp is the oven at
i have a 2002 ram 1500 with the old style bucket headlights, can i still do this to open them?
Do you know the supplier that makes the parts for ebay aftermarket lights. I need a few pieces without buying another 300 dollar set?
John stick to building Hellcat Swapped cars 😂

Almost everything I've done are permasealed ram truck headlights, alpharex permaseal makes those factory projectors look like child's play 😂😂
Glue machine whats its name 17:46
Woooow finally my truck... Hi love you iit looks AWSOME but yes big BUT?? WHY DIDNT YOU MAKE ITURN SIGNAL SEQUENSIAL? THANKS AGAIN
Well now that it has Butyl instead of Permaseal we can open them easily again 😉
damn when you can do it mine? great content! cheer mates
Now try this on the 15-19 Sierra and Silverado headlights, I don’t think it’s anywhere near as easy as the rams
So does this mean you're gonna be doing more truck stuff🤔🤔🤔😅😅😅😅😅
It means the opposite lol
Should’ve removed the amber reflectors and added the clear ones much cleaner look, also d.d switchback drl boards
Naw, it wasn’t about mods, just swapping lenses. The beauty is, we can EASILY open them back up now that they’re sealed with butyl.
Nissan micra 2014 same mdf glue .. i hate this glue !!!
Easy glueeeee... 😍😍😍
Im such a wuss. I hate anything that takes more than a couple minutes to open after heating lol.
@@flyryde every day I must open these... just a few headlights come w/ butil here... argggg...

Never again! 😅

Woot. I just did this to a vw tiguan
