Very sorry to hear this... Why can't u preach about Jesus instead of finding faults in other people doing good things or using Bible to just justify things which u can't understand ... Every people have their own understanding just like your understanding... Why can't you also acknowledge the good things that have come along with the gifts too... Right from apostles time itself..

Because not pointing out faults can lead to Demonic possession. Sometimes people become possessed in these charismatic meetings because they're worshipping the "experience" of prayer not actual worship as required by 1st commandment

I have watched in the UA-cam that you did interview with Maria Sangeetha, with Phalguni, with Glen and tresa etc. You must have been kicked out because of your misbehaviour there. Therefore you make bla, bla , bla . Can't you give your attention for something else. You are simply taking full revenge. May God forgive you.
It really seems like you are taking this personally. Looking at the bigger message here - is the speaker taking names? Is he really putting down a particular preacher? No, he's calling out an element of practice in our Charismatic circles that has aspects that are not in line with the Church's teaching. The message in this video is clear - we are called to discern what is being taught so that we walk in the way of the Truth. I urge you to listen to the content with an open ear, heart, and mind, instead of publishing assumptions that this is a revenge video (which it's clearly not). God bless you!

There are verious Variety of Gift of Tongues....
The Gift of Tongue that needs interpretation is different than tongue that manifested in Praise and worship,
Gift of Tongue that is used in personal prayer and in Community prayer, intercession in Charismatic Renewal.
Your logic, if Holy Spirit knows whom to give what why these preachers are praying to give gift of Tongues is Unchristian
All Christians including the Catholics pray to God

In my 20 plus years of experience with the Charismatic Renewal, I have attended so many retreats and verious Preachers
But I have never ever heard a single preacher saying Gift of Tongues is a must...
Surely they have said, it is beneficial and explained how it is benificial
In certain (not at all in all) Pentecostal denomination it is asserted that gift of Tongues is a must
Dear brother, at times in your testemony/interviews you shared that you were active with Pentecostals (about which I have no issues)
May be what you heard with them you have grafted in this video (not intentionally but with ignorance) that certain Charismatic preachers in "India" (India alone?) are teaching Gift of Tongues is compulsory
I agree with you , I too haven't heard any catholic preacher insist on Tongues. Some Pentecostals do. I could never understand why.
I never understood why the emphasis on Tongues, until the day I received it. Tongues has been such a blessing in my life. I am able to keep my mind stayed on God throughout the day. Ever since I started praying in tongues , I have been able to Evangelise more effectively. There is so much more, it would be too long to pen down here
Dear JD... there's one thing different about tongues, compared to other gifts. Tongues also edifies and builds up the person speaking( 1 Cor 14:2, 1 Cor 14:4).
There are different kinds of Tongues, some edify the listener, and the one that is emphasized , is the one that edifies the speaker.
I do not claim to know more that you, yet I humbly urge you to study and pray about this topic. Antony thomas has an excellent book on it, noting how it existed in the traditions of the Church too.
I agree that tongues is not an end in it self, nor does it mean that those who don't speak in tongues do not have the Holy Spirit. However, Tongues is truly a blessing to the Christian faithful.

I know you mean well, especially if you are attached to a particular preacher or mode of teaching. However, just based on this video, it doesn't seem like he targeting any specific preacher. All he's doing is asking us to go back to our basic Catholic teachings to discern and introspect on what is being taught by our preachers. None of us are perfect people, that includes our leaders. If there's something to be learned and corrected in our practices, and mindset, so be it.
