Just subscribed and have to say , your style of reviewing is by far my favorite. Several of the handguns on your list are on my wish list. I do think that, for a sub $500 pistol, the Canik TP9SFX deserves an honorable mention though. Mine has functioned flawlessly for over 4000 rounds, great accuracy, very comfortable recoil, and a fantastic trigger.
I had a rival that didn’t run past 9 rounds, FTF issues FTE issues. I ejected the rounds it didn’t want to fire in my 43X and bang. Got rid of it quick.
I think another important aspect of why the 2011 is a great choice is because of its ability to shoot 9mm major allowing you to score higher in some matches

The P10F is a solid choice, I've put around 2000 through mine and love it, haven't had any failures/malfunctions of any sort and it's trigger surprised the hell out of me, for a striker fired gun it sure has a nice clean break and reset. Great video. I believe that the 2011s should be in a class of their own; perhaps you could do a top 5 of the 2011 pistols to see who is the champ when cost is not a factor. IMHO these are like super cars and can’t really be considered regular production pistols. I would love to see your best shooting pistols for compacts and a separate top 5 for sub-compacts. You are hands down the best firearms reviewer on UA-cam and I would never purchase a firearm until you give it a thumbs up.
I love your videos man! I also live in Iowa, any time I need some schooling or just shopping around for my next gun. I check your videos out every single time. You're the man!
Thanks for your video. I read a comment either on this video or another about your shooting skill and it saying it is impressive is an understatement. I’m tempted to buy my second handgun but know that I likely should instead invest in more training. Keep up the good work.
I think I enjoy your videos almost more then any other channel. I can wait to watch other videos but I have to watch yours as soon as I can. Seems like we would get along great. And if I can ever get ahead on bills I'm gonna join your patron.

Great video! Completely agree with ur list. I'm glad u put the Type B in there. I really love that pistol. I can't wait to see how u customize ur P10F. Ur P10C is awesome.
Yeah I’m a 15 year old uspsa shooter, I shoot a Glock 17, but it’s by no means the best. I just like it but I hate the Glock people that think they are the best guns out there.
I am unsure if these would all qualify as production pistols, but here are my 5 favorites in the order I enjoy them the most Sti DVC Limited CZ TSO Sig Sauer X Five Supermatch CZ Shadow 2 Sig Sauer P210 For those who like revolver S&W 686 Competitor Thank you honest outlaw for great videos, instructive reviews and inspiring shooting.
Welp its in the list. Its basically a Shadow 2 with a larger mag well, flat trigger, and upgrade options for the IPSC Standard division. The TS, and Shadow 2 are killing it in European IPSC, pretty much 80% of shooters use these two in Production, Prod Optics and Standard.
About as awesome to watch as a firearm video can be. Love the choices and watching you shoot pistols as fast and lethal as this group was is worth the price of admission all it's own. Cheers ...
i have an EDC X9 and it is an amazing gun as well. Great feel, great weight, great trigger and it eats everything. That being said . . . perfect choice on the STI/Staccato position. They are by far my handgun of choice. i have many and they all are fun and incredible to shoot. Try the old school Omni if you can get your hands on one. Unbelievable.
It is so cool to live in America. The guns you got there is enough to make want to immigrate. I love pistols but may not have more than two. So I own Glock 22 and Smith & Wesson M20 40. Love them both. Keep up the good work, I will watch for sure.
@@John-nd7il In the latest terrorist country called South Africa, Cape Town. I am considering emigrating, but maybe too old to do so. Still love pistols and thank full that I still use them on the range.
I really enjoy your channel....Thank you! I completely agree with your #1 and #2 as they are mine as well. A couple others that might have made my list are the Sig P210 target, P226 X-Five & P226 X-Six.
Ya know, if you build one piece by piece, you can make them pretty cost effective. Then, you'll have purpose built 2011 at a much smaller portion of the cost.
My personal top 5 from my collection are 1:2011 (atlas nemesis, staccato XC, 2019 staccato P, and Springfield Prodigy) in that order 2: Tanfoglio Limited Xtreme 3: Shadow 2 4: Walther Q5 Match Steel 5: Canik Rival-S Tanfoglio and Shadow 2 are visually very similar considering the Tanfoglio started as a CZ clone. They are different though. I prefer the trigger on the Tanfoglio. The most bang for the buck of any gun I’ve ever purchased has got to be the Rivals without a doubt though. To be in my top 5 9mm handguns I own actually disgusts me at the amount of money I’ve spent on pistols it outshoots for a much cheaper price. I did technically get my Atlas for $2500 though. Traded a 1998 Z71 for it that I had $2500 in.
I have the p10c with threaded Barrel, I use for 3gun so far so good in reliability. And installed a nice trigger and steel guide rod. Can’t beat the cz for the money.
I think spots 1 & 2 could be either CZ or 1911 depending on what you like. 1911 and CZ single action triggers can be very similar, and if you look at the grip of the CZ it's actually similar to the 1911 when the grip safety is pressed. The tradeoff of both is that the CZ is more reliable, the 1911 more customizable, also the CZ is cheaper and easier to maintain. Making a reliable 1911 is very hard to do.
High end 1911’s tend not to be reliable due to extreme machining tolerances. If you run a middle of the road one they are pretty good. Kimber, Colt etc. Stay away from the Wilson and Ed Brown stuff if you want reliability over accuracy and flash.
My first pistol i bought was a springfield armory 1911 mil-spec model. Cost me 750. I have had it for 8 years now and have had no problems with it. Tolerances are nice but not super tight and it is just an even, fun, good looking pistol.
Really glad you gave the Stryk B another chance. I picked one up a few months back and its become one of my favorite shooters - thats inclusive of an STI Costa Comp.
Love the video and your presentation. I'm subscribing because of what I saw in this one. Even though I'm an H&K guy, and I'm disappointed not to see the USP on this list, I'm still very impressed.
#1 Exactly right. My STI Executive .40 cal. ($2,200) was 100% reliable straight out of the box. The trigger was tuned to 3 lbs, then the pistol was tuned to my reloads. In one qualifier match, I jumped from a high B Limited shooter (G34) to Master Class. I’ve never shot a pistol so fast, or made shots like the “Elite Pro Shooters”. The 2011 is a Fantastic pistol.
Great video, as always! You might be my favorite subscription on UA-cam. Would love to see this same list but for guns under a certain amount ($600? $700?)
I have a SDI 2011 DVC*3 and I totally agree with most of what you have said about it, but I also have a CZ SP01 Shadow Target 2 which I believe at least in my opinion is as good or better and in my experience more reliable and a way less expensive choice, and it has the absolute best trigger I have ever experienced in any hand gun, I have shot international competition on the US Navy Pistol team and am an NRA Instructor, with Distinguished Rifle and Master Pistol classifications. I also agree with you that the CZ Shadow 2 is my absolute favorite pistol to shoot.
I think one of your honorable mentions should have been the Canik TP9 SFx. Mine was $490, which is a huge bargain, for what you get. My trigger pulls at slightly under 4lbs, and the reset is amazing. It also comes with blacked out rear Warren Tactical, and a thin post fiber optic front sight. Also comes with two 20-round mags, and 4 optic ready slide plates. The match grade barrel also makes it extremely accurate. There are some other goodies that come inside of the nice plastic carry case, too. The grip is my only complaint, but nothing that a few strategically placed strips of Talon grip tape can't fix. This pistol is among the easiest to shoot pistols on the market, and perfect for someone that can't afford the Walther Q5 Match. I personally think it's BETTER than the Glock 34. I LOVE MY CANIK!!!

I love your videos man! I also live in Iowa, any time I need some schooling or just shopping around for my next gun. I check your videos out every single time. You're the man!
That Alien Pistol must be the most revolutionary thing in decades.
I would love to try one.
best channel
on the internet
That back yard beats every man cave hands down.
Thanks for your video. I read a comment either on this video or another about your shooting skill and it saying it is impressive is an understatement. I’m tempted to buy my second handgun but know that I likely should instead invest in more training. Keep up the good work.
Shadow 2 is a sexy looking pistol, as soon as I the mega millions. I will buy one.
I think I enjoy your videos almost more then any other channel. I can wait to watch other videos but I have to watch yours as soon as I can. Seems like we would get along great. And if I can ever get ahead on bills I'm gonna join your patron.
Love my Shadow 2. I haven’t shot a P10 F. Would really like to see how it compares to my Q5.
Awesome video Sir. Living the CZ Life !!!!!!!!!!!
You’re one hell of a shooter ! Amazing and great reviews 👍
Best shooter ever! Excellent review, detailed but not boring at all-thanks
I wish I could step out in my back yard n do that
I could.....
ONCE
I can step out in my backyard and shoot all I want and have for many years I would be lying if I said I could shoot like this dude
Same as me have to drive 75 miles to my camping spot to shoot , If I tried that in my back yard police would be here in know time.
There's talk of a neighborhood going in beside my property so I'm counting my blessings as for now.
@@jimmybare3026 I now have a house right behind me .
The CZ75b is another good shooting pistol, also very accurate.
Even though I haven't shot all these pistols, you made great choices. Low, mid and upper price range, nice work.
A couple guys down the comment section saying Glocktards are jumping off bridges cause they didn't make it in
the line up, lmao, MEDIC!!
The first person shooter view is bangin'.
Overall I agree. I'd say the TP9SFX could be a solid 5 or at least honorable mention too.
3 Percent Mick my favorite gun as well. I did all the mods Frank the Tank recommended and she’s a machine. Haven’t shot the shadow2 but hear she’s a beast as well.
@@snipervision1 the shadow 2 could also be number one as well.
I totally agree, I said the same thing then I just found your comment. I own one and it’s really excellent in its own right but especially for the $
@@alexcarrimeyers6098 exactly right
Another terrific video and yep... I think your list is spot on... I'm a long time 1911 guy who's turned into a Glock shooter.. but you can bet there will be a CZP10f living here very shortly.. Your one of my top three gun channels.. awesome content, great shooting, and no bullshit , honest reviews and opinions.. life is good..! Cheers my friend and thanks for doing what your doing
Great video! Completely agree with ur list. I'm glad u put the Type B in there. I really love that pistol. I can't wait to see how u customize ur P10F. Ur P10C is awesome.
Gotta agree on the SVI - best handgun I’ve ever owned.
THIS IS WHY IM AN ALL KIND OF GUN GUY. Glock or sig aren’t always the best.
people refuse to do any research and go to the most known brands
HK all day baby
Yeah I’m a 15 year old uspsa shooter, I shoot a Glock 17, but it’s by no means the best. I just like it but I hate the Glock people that think they are the best guns out there.
@@zackolander5568 is your Glock 17 modified, stock or has a APEX trigger?
gutadin5 when I was still using it it had a stock trigger. Now I’m shooting a Springfield.
I am unsure if these would all qualify as production pistols, but here are my 5 favorites in the order I enjoy them the most
Sti DVC Limited
CZ TSO
Sig Sauer X Five Supermatch
CZ Shadow 2
Sig Sauer P210
For those who like revolver S&W 686 Competitor
Thank you honest outlaw for great videos, instructive reviews and inspiring shooting.
Cz 75 TS Orange is the best for me.
same here. absolutely nothing touches my CZ TS
Cheers ...
It would be interesting to hear where the CZ 75 Tactical Sport stacks up against these other pistols.
Dude be grateful you have such an awesome gun range closest neighbor miles away. Hell Yeah Hoorah, Semper Fi carry on
Hallelujah! I was just thinking it had been a while...
i have an EDC X9 and it is an amazing gun as well. Great feel, great weight, great trigger and it eats everything. That being said . . . perfect choice on the STI/Staccato position. They are by far my handgun of choice. i have many and they all are fun and incredible to shoot. Try the old school Omni if you can get your hands on one. Unbelievable.
I move to make "fuckery" an official technical term.
It is so cool to live in America. The guns you got there is enough to make want to immigrate. I love pistols but may not have more than two. So I own Glock 22 and Smith & Wesson M20 40. Love them both. Keep up the good work, I will watch for sure.
Gideon Joubert where do you live? If you do move don't go to ny or ca. Speaking from experience
Much better than watch mojo.
Wow the #5 cz p10f. Looks identical to my canik they came out a few years before. Never had a problem with mine, and has identical controls.
I like your taste in guns and really appreciate all your reviews!
I agree with everything but the 2011 is o much experience for my budget i still have CZ shadow 2 , and I’m the most happy guy in the world !!!
Ya know, if you build one piece by piece, you can make them pretty cost effective. Then, you'll have purpose built 2011 at a much smaller portion of the cost.
My personal top 5 from my collection are
1:2011 (atlas nemesis, staccato XC, 2019 staccato P, and Springfield Prodigy) in that order
2: Tanfoglio Limited Xtreme
3: Shadow 2
4: Walther Q5 Match Steel
5: Canik Rival-S
Tanfoglio and Shadow 2 are visually very similar considering the Tanfoglio started as a CZ clone.
This has really become one of my favorite gun channels. I wouldn’t mind seeing a video on that Zev OZ9
Made in Venice , FL. Check them out; www.fusionfirearms.com/
High end 1911’s tend not to be reliable due to extreme machining tolerances. If you run a middle of the road one they are pretty good. Kimber, Colt etc. Stay away from the Wilson and Ed Brown stuff if you want reliability over accuracy and flash.
Chuck Beef Nighthawk’s have unbelievable reliability. Check out the video Garand Thumb did on the Enforcer 1911.
@@ChuckBeefOG Don't forget Dan Wesson. Probably the best "middle of the road" 1911 available.
Phew. If the 2011 wasnt #1 I wouldve been mad but not really because to each their own.
Love the video and your presentation. I'm subscribing because of what I saw in this one. Even though I'm an H&K guy, and I'm disappointed not to see the USP on this list, I'm still very impressed.
At this point you should do top 5 non-shooting pistols 😜 love ur videos
very informative., helped me choose a pistol for self defense. thanks
CZ is calling my name
HAVE ONE ALSO, OUTSTANDING PISTOL!!
LoL love the list nothing beats that 1911 single action and feel.
