- This e bike has changed my life for the better. I have been riding e bikes for a little better than a year now and I found the perfect bike for me. I bought a Cyrusher Kommoda E Bike which is a 20 inch step thru fat tire bike. The distance from the ground surface to the top of the step thru area of the bike is only 12 inches. This makes it much easier for seniors and people with limited disabilities to ride a bike again. You will feel like a kid all over again!

750 watt (Bafang) rear hub motor
48 volt 14 AH battery
Half twist throttle
Zoom hydraulic disc brakes
Dual front and rear suspension
Very comfortable stock seat
7 speed shimano shifter
Rear rack for storage
Color display on computer
1-5 pedal assist settings
27 MPH top speed.
Range: 35-50 miles on a fully charged battery

I have looked at the Cyrusher Komoda many times and I think it is one of the best value folding fat tyre bikes on the market. I currently ride the Engwe EP2 pro which has similar stats to yours on range and speed but has lower quality components, the price reflects that though at £900. I wish I could get out as much as you but until I retire (1 year) I will have to make do with what I have. One of my favourite rides on these fat tyre bikes is riding along the beach, it is so much fun. Keep up the good work.

I've been looking at the Kommoda for a little while, now. I think I'm going to buy it, because of your great video. I was hesitant because some of the reviews on Amazon said that Cyrusher isn't honoring their warranty. Some didn't get a warranty with their bike. Did you? I wanted to look at the New Ovia, that just came out last Friday, but the store in Utah doesn't have one, yet, so they can't compare the two. The Ovia has a bigger battery and I think a bigger motor. They offered me the same sale on the Ovia, but I'm afraid to buy it without seeing a review on it, first. I really enjoyed your review. I'm a single, 71 yr old, retired female teacher. I have chronic pain, so I need a bike with good suspension. You sold me on this bike! I also purchased a tear drop camper! I'm going to enjoy the years to come! Thank you! That Luna looked like a neat bike. Of course not as sleek as my beast Kommoda.lol. I am looking forward to you're range test on the Kommoda. That 3 D printer is sweet! Do you think you could design a sun protector to go over that King Meter so the glare would not be so bad? That would be something you could sell to Kommoda owners.

I have the same bike love it, don't have such great infrastructure. I'm a little closer to the northpole than you, so l ride mostly in summer.

Happy Birthday. I was wondering about the extra battery? I go to music festivals but don't like all of the gas I use to get there. Being retired I have plenty of time to get places. I'm thinking a small tent, clothing, bedding and food bags along with my ukulele would work out just fine with an extra battery.

Does the Tannus liner add a difference to the ride?
Yes, I think it made the ride smoother and I don't have the noise level in the tires that I had before the liners.
Could you try reverse trike ebike?
I don't own one of those.

I don't think they have a dealer on the west coast. Cyrusher has a office in Utah though.
