Casual Pro I would move the bala shark out when it gets big I’ve seen them at 14 inch also that kissing gourami and rainbow shark may cause problems when they get big

Ah 👌🏻 good just watch out for red tail sharks they seem to harass others or if you have lots of sharks they can’t signal one out so you could try that as well 👍🏻

Casual Pro not sure a shark only tank is a good idea. They’re usually aggressive towards each other and other species.

Why would you buy only one bala shark? They are a schooling fish and get stressed easy so you have to buy at lest two or three at a time

Bala sharks need 150 gallon tanks
Cool tank just wanted to let you know when the ball shark grows up you’re going to need 180 gallon tank minimum for the rainbow shark you need a 55 gallon tank minimum I would say that’s OK but it’s not as 40 gallon breeder and it’s more based on height the kissing Grammy needs about a 125 minimum and there may be some aggression between the different types of goramis also the Bala shark is pretty aggressive can’t wait to see where the tank goes.

Glad I found your channel. Nice fish. May want to look at getting a larger tank one day. Bala sharks get a good size and like lots of swimming room and a few other choices there will get decently aggressive as they mature. Keep up the great work.

You acclimate them for water conditions too? Not just temp.
If you're gonna get more fish, get them soon so the other fish don't get aggressive with them. But I recommend a silver dollar. They start small but they can get huge and are a nice shiny silver. Also the angel fish should get pretty big depending on what kind you got! Excited to see more bout it. Also old intro into slow intro would be a good mix.

Bala sharks don’t necessarily need circular tanks. Open water salt water sharks need circular tanks but the bala isn’t a true shark and is fine in any shape tank but they do get larger than a foot long.
My red tail shark killed every one of his tank mates in a span of about 6 months. He just seemed to become more aggressive and territorial as time went by. All that is left in the tank with him is 1 cardinal tetra and a platty. Just so ya know I did what you did and put them all in together at the same time.
BornTexan ! The shark didn’t kill them your mistake of adding them all at the same time did. With rainbow and red tail sharks always have lots of caves and don’t mix with other bottom feeders. Have you heard of the nitrogen cycle

Just if you didn’t know the rainbow shark can be realllllllly aggressive after two to three years. Mine killed all of my fish.
